of_o the_o field_n and_o with_o the_o fowl_n of_o the_o heaven_n and_o with_o the_o creep_a thing_n of_o the_o ground_n that_o be_v as_o i_o take_v it_o they_o shall_v be_v restore_v and_o reduce_v to_o that_o order_n they_o be_v first_o make_v in_o and_o a_o metaphorical_a sense_n put_v upon_o this_o prophecy_n will_v seem_v very_a heterodox_n and_o foreign_a to_o what_o by_o the_o context_n to_o be_v compare_v with_o the_o glory_n that_o shall_v be_v reveal_v in_o we_o for_o the_o earnest_a expectation_n of_o the_o creature_n wait_v for_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n the_o last_o part_n of_o the_o 18_o verse_n be_v that_o as_o i_o think_v from_o which_o the_o apostle_n take_v the_o rise_n of_o his_o whole_a discourse_n in_o these_o verse_n be_v not_o worthy_a to_o the_o meaning_n seem_v to_o be_v that_o he_o speak_v not_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o heaven_n in_o the_o 18_o verse_n but_o of_o that_o glory_n that_o shall_v be_v reveal_v in_o the_o saint_n here_o in_o this_o world_n before_o the_o conclusion_n of_o it_o when_o the_o whole_a world_n shall_v become_v the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o saint_n and_o so_o the_o force_n of_o the_o comparison_n lie_v the_o strong_a the_o suffering_n that_o we_o have_v in_o this_o world_n be_v not_o worthy_a to_o be_v compare_v to_o the_o glory_n that_o shall_v be_v reveal_v in_o we_o even_o in_o this_o world_n and_o then_o in_o verse_n 19_o proceed_v to_o show_v there_o shall_v be_v such_o a_o glory_n for_o the_o earnest_a expectation_n of_o the_o creature_n wait_v for_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n that_o be_v there_o be_v a_o expectance_n in_o the_o whole_a creation_n of_o such_o a_o day_n when_o the_o son_n of_o god_n be_v manifest_v and_o reveal_v in_o the_o glory_n that_o be_v promise_v they_o than_o the_o whole_a creation_n shall_v enjoy_v a_o restoration_n and_o jubilee_n it_o be_v of_o great_a moment_n here_o to_o take_v notice_n that_o the_o bondage_n of_o corruption_n into_o the_o glorious_a liberty_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n because_o there_o be_v a_o restoration_n belong_v to_o it_o and_o the_o opposition_n be_v still_o between_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o the_o creature_n and_o can_v with_o any_o tolerable_a sense_n be_v make_v between_o man_n and_o man._n the_o scope_n of_o st._n paul_n in_o this_o place_n seem_v clear_o to_o be_v this_o that_o the_o creature_n be_v under_o a_o curse_n and_o under_o a_o preternatural_a subjection_n and_o usage_n not_o suitable_a to_o its_o first_o make_v and_o designment_n by_o reason_n of_o man_n sin_n and_o be_v unwilling_o subject_v thereunto_o do_v in_o its_o way_n dislike_v it_o groan_v to_o be_v deliver_v from_o it_o and_o natural_o tend_v to_o its_o primitive_a state_n and_o use_n which_o it_o be_v to_o be_v restore_v unto_o when_o the_o son_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v manifest_v and_o christ_n shall_v set_v up_o his_o glorious_a kingdom_n here_o upon_o earth_n this_o interpretation_n though_o without_o doubt_n it_o contain_v the_o natural_a and_o genuine_a sense_n of_o the_o apostle_n be_v by_o some_o contradict_v by_o understand_v the_o word_n creature_n in_o another_o sense_n that_o be_v to_o say_v by_o take_v it_o to_o mean_v the_o gentile_n and_o that_o part_n of_o the_o world_n who_o say_v they_o be_v unwilling_o subject_v by_o the_o devil_n to_o all_o the_o bondage_n of_o the_o heathenish_a worship_n and_o religion_n and_o groan_v to_o be_v deliver_v from_o under_o it_o now_o both_o the_o text_n itself_o and_o the_o context_n utter_o refuse_v this_o interpretation_n for_o first_o we_o must_v represent_v the_o apostle_n thus_o speak_v for_o i_o reckon_v that_o the_o suffering_n of_o this_o present_a time_n be_v not_o worthy_a to_o be_v compare_v with_o the_o glory_n that_o shall_v be_v reveal_v in_o we_o for_o the_o earnest_a expectation_n of_o the_o gentile_n wait_v for_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n the_o apostle_n do_v not_o make_v the_o opposition_n to_o lie_v between_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o the_o son_n of_o man_n of_o any_o sort_n but_o between_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o the_o irrational_a part_n of_o the_o world_n and_o make_v the_o groan_a of_o that_o after_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n a_o reason_n why_o there_o shall_v be_v such_o a_o manifestation_n and_o in_o verse_n 20._o when_o he_o say_v the_o creature_n be_v make_v subject_a to_o vanity_n he_o

voluntary_a what_o they_o choose_v and_o what_o they_o high_o applaud_v themselves_o in_o and_o to_o say_v the_o devil_n have_v subject_v they_o to_o their_o idolatry_n in_o hope_n which_v those_o that_o thus_o interpret_v do_v and_o must_v say_v be_v plain_o to_o say_v the_o devil_n subject_v they_o to_o idolatry_n in_o order_n to_o a_o deliverance_n unto_o salvation_n which_o be_v absurd_a to_o suppose_v and_o in_o verse_n 21._o the_o apostle_n lay_v the_o emphasis_n so_o as_o points_z clear_o at_o the_o irrational_a and_o jow_a part_n of_o the_o world_n because_o say_v he_o the_o creature_n itself_o he_o do_v not_o in_o the_o least_o seem_v to_o intend_v mankind_n or_o any_o sort_n of_o they_o but_o the_o low_a and_o mean_a part_n of_o the_o world_n and_o that_o he_o must_v needs_o mean_v by_o say_v the_o creature_n itself_o in_o the_o most_o diminutive_a sense_n of_o the_o creature_n for_o it_o be_v evident_o to_o distinguish_v between_o the_o creature_n and_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o not_o to_o make_v the_o antithesis_fw-la between_o one_o sort_n of_o man_n and_o another_o and_o in_o verse_n 22._o he_o tell_v you_o the_o whole_a creation_n or_o every_o creature_n groan_v and_o travail_v in_o pain_n for_o deliverance_n he_o tell_v you_o before_o the_o creature_n be_v in_o expectance_n and_o now_o he_o tell_v you_o it_o groan_v and_o travail_v in_o pain_n and_o this_o creature_n be_v the_o whole_a creation_n or_o every_o creature_n it_o be_v the_o very_a same_o word_n that_o be_v use_v all_o along_o this_o context_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v the_o same_o thing_n he_o discourse_v of_o let_v any_o man_n in_o these_o verse_n read_v the_o gentile_a world_n instead_o of_o the_o word_n creature_n and_o whole_a creation_n or_o as_o it_o be_v better_a to_o be_v render_v every_o creature_n and_o then_o see_v what_o a_o awkward_a ill-cohering_a sense_n be_v impose_v upon_o the_o apostle_n thereby_o the_o three_o scripture_n i_o shall_v insist_v on_o for_o the_o proof_n of_o this_o point_n seem_v more_o plain_a and_o positive_a than_o any_o act_v 3.21_o who_o the_o heaven_n must_v receive_v until_o the_o time_n of_o restitution_n will_v again_o appear_v in_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n for_o the_o heaven_n must_v contain_v he_o but_o until_o that_o be_v to_o a_o determinate_a time_n two_o that_o his_o appear_v again_o will_v be_v in_o those_o time_n wherein_o all_o thing_n shall_v be_v restore_v whatever_o be_v defile_v deface_v disorder_a and_o misplace_v by_o sin_n shall_v be_v reduce_v in_o those_o time_n to_o its_o primitive_a beauty_n and_o order_n as_o a_o very_a particular_a effect_n of_o christ_n redemption_n and_o they_o be_v call_v time_n of_o restitution_n because_o they_o will_v precede_v and_o last_v some_o time_n before_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n which_o be_v usual_o express_v in_o scripture_n singular_o by_o one_o positive_a determinate_a day_n the_o day_n of_o judgement_n to_o all_o good_a man_n will_v be_v much_o more_o than_o a_o restitution_n it_o will_v bring_v they_o to_o a_o far_o better_a state_n than_o ever_o they_o be_v make_v in_o but_o these_o be_v call_v time_n of_o restitution_n of_o all_o thing_n not_o only_o man_n but_o all_o the_o creation_n shall_v partake_v of_o the_o benefit_n of_o these_o time_n and_o these_o restore_a time_n be_v such_o as_o god_n have_v speak_v of_o by_o the_o mouth_n of_o all_o his_o holy_a prophet_n all_o or_o most_o of_o they_o have_v some_o way_n or_o other_o more_o or_o less_o mention_v this_o glorious_a kingdom_n of_o christ_n towards_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n but_o it_o be_v not_o so_o evident_a that_o they_o have_v all_o or_o most_o of_o they_o speak_v of_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n the_o apostle_n give_v they_o to_o know_v that_o that_o very_a jesus_n who_o they_o crucify_v be_v the_o only_a true_a saviour_n of_o the_o world_n be_v ascend_v into_o heaven_n as_o a_o mighty_a conqueror_n and_o will_v from_o thence_o return_v and_o before_o time_n end_v bring_v with_o he_o time_n of_o restitution_n and_o let_v the_o whole_a creation_n feel_v the_o effect_n of_o his_o redemption_n by_o a_o universal_a jubilee_n and_o restore_v it_o under_o his_o government_n to_o its_o original_a order_n beauty_n and_o glory_n after_o which_o it_o have_v a_o natural_a tendency_n and_o in_o its_o way_n perpetual_o groan_v have_v ever_o since_o the_o fall_n of_o man_n and_o the_o curse_n thereupon_o impose_v upon_o it_o unwilling_o lie_v under_o a_o sad_a and_o grievous_a oppression_n from_o the_o unruly_a lust_n and_o passion_n of_o men._n and_o thus_o we_o see_v by_o the_o very_a first_o design_n and_o platform_n in_o creation_n god_n by_o make_v the_o world_n by_o his_o son_n have_v place_v in_o
