the_o wicked_a immediate_o after_o death_n go_v to_o hell_n and_o be_v like_a to_o abide_v there_o for_o ever_o luk._n 16.22_o the_o rich_a man_n also_o die_v and_o be_v bury_v and_o in_o hell_n he_o lift_v up_o his_o eye_n be_v in_o torment_n here_o we_o see_v that_o he_o go_v present_o to_o hell_n a_o place_n of_o torment_n and_o he_o can_v obtain_v no_o ease_n nor_o comfort_n and_o no_o ease_n nor_o comfort_n and_o that_o this_o small_a request_n will_v not_o be_v grant_v he_o and_o by_o the_o gulf_n here_o abraham_n show_v that_o it_o be_v not_o in_o his_o power_n to_o help_v and_o relieve_v he_o and_o that_o his_o condition_n be_v not_o to_o be_v alter_v and_o in_o the_o verse_n follow_v he_o desire_v that_o his_o brethren_n at_o his_o father_n house_n may_v be_v warn_v to_o take_v care_n in_o time_n that_o they_o come_v not_o into_o this_o place_n of_o torment_n but_o he_o do_v not_o desire_v that_o they_o or_o any_o person_n else_o upon_o earth_n shall_v pray_v for_o he_o for_o if_o it_o be_v not_o in_o abraham_n power_n to_o help_v he_o much_o less_o in_o they_o and_o it_o do_v appear_v that_o the_o torment_n of_o hell_n be_v everlasting_a and_o that_o there_o viz._n heaven_n and_o hell_n see_v the_o righteous_a after_o death_n upon_o their_o departure_n hence_o go_v into_o heaven_n a_o place_n of_o joy_n and_o happiness_n and_o the_o wicked_a go_v to_o hell_n where_o they_o be_v to_o abide_v for_o ever_o and_o from_o whence_o they_o can_v be_v deliver_v it_o be_v from_o hence_o also_o manifest_a that_o there_o be_v no_o such_o place_n as_o the_o romish_a purgatory_n and_o that_o it_o be_v a_o mere_a fiction_n and_o sinful_a delusion_n it_o it_o clear_a that_o the_o doctrine_n and_o practice_n of_o the_o romish_a church_n concern_v purgatory_n be_v not_o agreeable_a to_o the_o sacred_a scripture_n and_o that_o a_o multitude_n of_o place_n therein_o do_v bear_v testimony_n against_o they_o xiii_o their_o sell_v of_o pardon_n and_o
