2._o 17._o and_o not_o to_o their_o return_n from_o babylon_n by_o the_o cohaerence_n of_o this_o verse_n with_o the_o former_a where_o be_v promise_v knowledge_n as_o be_v here_o the_o holy_a ghost_n salvation_n neither_o let_v we_o ever_o forget_v the_o work_n 2_o which_o god_n do_v for_o we_o psal_n 106._o 21_o 22._o but_o remember_v they_o in_o our_o meat_n in_o our_o bed_n in_o our_o labour_n in_o our_o ease_n in_o our_o watch_n and_o in_o our_o rejoice_v that_o our_o god_n may_v still_o continue_v to_o do_v they_o as_o we_o do_v still_o persevere_v to_o remember_v they_o last_o in_o this_o verse_n he_o promise_v that_o they_o shall_v never_o be_v more_o ashamed_a of_o any_o reproach_n whereby_o we_o may_v note_v that_o religion_n do_v not_o commit_v any_o thing_n that_o either_o we_o may_v be_v ashamed_a of_o or_o repent_v 1._o cor._n 15._o 58._o for_o our_o labour_n in_o religion_n be_v not_o in_o vain_a if_o any_o through_o the_o fear_n or_o commandment_n of_o god_n shall_v slay_v their_o child_n as_o abraham_n will_v or_o deceive_v their_o master_n as_o jacob_n do_v or_o beguile_v their_o husband_n as_o rebecca_n do_v or_o disobey_v their_o prince_n as_o moses_n do_v or_o murder_v their_o enemy_n as_o samson_n do_v or_o loose_v their_o life_n as_o christ_n do_v yet_o shall_v they_o never_o need_v to_o repent_v any_o of_o they_o oh_o what_o a_o marvelous_a benefit_n have_v a_o man_n by_o religion_n which_o he_o can_v ashamed_a have_v by_o any_o other_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n there_o be_v nothing_o in_o all_o the_o life_n of_o man_n but_o we_o may_v repent_v except_o it_o be_v the_o fear_n of_o god_n we_o repent_v our_o word_n our_o work_n our_o expense_n our_o get_n our_o wander_n our_o negligence_n our_o diligence_n our_o sleep_n meat_n and_o money_n and_o all_o we_o be_v ashamed_a of_o our_o thought_n our_o to_z yes_o trifle_n play_n childishness_n wantonness_n love_n hatred_n lust_n poverty_n nakedness_n and_o the_o very_a part_n of_o our_o body_n but_o of_o no_o part_n of_o religion_n thou_o shall_v never_o repent_v that_o thou_o forsooke_v the_o world_n beleeve_v in_o the_o lord_n mourn_v for_o thy_o sin_n study_v in_o the_o scripture_n hear_v the_o preacher_n be_v obedient_a to_o the_o gospel_n pray_v many_o hour_n watch_v many_o night_n fast_v many_o day_n endure_v many_o trouble_n and_o shall_v die_v any_o death_n for_o the_o lord_n sake_n see_v heaven_n be_v thy_o rest_n nay_o rather_o we_o see_v many_o man_n in_o their_o deathbed_n wish_v with_o tear_n that_o they_o have_v hawk_v and_o hunt_v and_o play_v and_o labour_v and_o love_v and_o hate_v much_o less_o for_o now_o in_o their_o sickness_n their_o sin_n come_v on_o they_o as_o the_o philistine_n come_v on_o samson_n when_o
