whether_o the_o righteous_a or_o the_o wicked_a if_o the_o righteous_a what_o need_n be_v there_o now_o of_o justification_n or_o faith_n when_o the_o law_n be_v sufficient_a if_o the_o wicked_a whether_o those_o that_o be_v penitent_a and_o convert_v or_o the_o impenitent_a and_o rebellious_a if_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n justify_v the_o penitent_a free_v they_o from_o guilt_n and_o make_v they_o righteous_a of_o unrighteous_a which_o neither_o you_o yourself_o can_v deny_v why_o then_o do_v you_o inveigh_v against_o luther_n so_o unmodest_o and_o undeserved_o do_v luther_n either_o say_v or_o teach_v any_o luther_n other_o thing_n where_o do_v he_o at_o any_o time_n let_v loose_v the_o reins_o to_o sin_n or_o promise_v liberty_n to_o the_o wicked_a or_o preach_v those_o from_o all_o hope_n of_o pardon_n i_o trow_v not_o and_o what_o remedy_n then_o will_v you_o show_v they_o will_v you_o send_v we_o to_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n or_o to_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o law_n to_o heal_v our_o wound_n what_o if_o the_o law_n give_v no_o help_n here_o and_o there_o be_v not_o any_o other_o thing_n in_o man_n that_o can_v help_v righteousness_n once_o violate_v luther_n except_o faith_n only_o place_v in_o christ_n which_o neither_o you_o yourself_o can_v deny_v and_o if_o this_o very_a faith_n bring_v salvation_n to_o none_o but_o those_o that_o deplore_v the_o sin_n they_o have_v commit_v which_o together_o with_o you_o luther_n affirm_v to_o what_o purpose_n be_v those_o out-cry_n against_o luther_n so_o tragical_a and_o raise_v without_o wit_n that_o it_o be_v a_o firm_a and_o constant_a reliance_n on_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n promise_v free_o for_o the_o sake_n of_o christ._n which_o definition_n if_o it_o be_v true_a by_o this_o mean_v it_o appear_v that_o the_o object_n of_o faith_n be_v place_v no_o otherway_n nor_o in_o any_o other_o thing_n but_o in_o the_o free_a mercy_n of_o god_n lay_v hold_v upon_o mercy_n which_o neither_o i_o myself_o deny_v to_o be_v true_a in_o this_o sense_n as_o faith_n in_o this_o place_n be_v take_v for_o a_o reliance_n as_o it_o be_v often_o use_v in_o this_o signification_n because_o it_o have_v a_o respect_n to_o mercy_n god_n and_o bring_v forth_o assurance_n in_o the_o mind_n of_o believer_n but_o whether_o this_o reliance_n proper_o justify_v we_o before_o god_n it_o may_v here_o be_v inquire_v not_o without_o profit_n a_o question_n whether_o only_a reliance_n on_o mercy_n justify_v of_o itself_o very_o as_o for_o my_o part_n i_o be_o not_o faith_n nor_o ever_o be_v the_o man_n that_o will_v be_v prejudicial_a to_o another_o man_n opinion_n i_o allow_v that_o every_o man_n shall_v be_v persuade_v in_o his_o own_o mind_n i_o hinder_v it_o not_o but_o if_o i_o be_o permit_v free_o to_o profess_v in_o a_o free_a church_n what_o my_o opinion_n be_v my_o reason_n lead_v i_o to_o think_v that_o this_o reliance_n on_o mercy_n and_o assurance_n of_o salvation_n to_o god_n do_v necessary_o go_v before_o and_o then_o reliance_n on_o most_o assure_a mercy_n follow_v this_o faith_n concern_v which_o none_o of_o those_o that_o believe_v in_o christ_n can_v doubt_v objection_n but_o you_o may_v say_v what_o do_v not_o mercy_n promise_v in_o christ_n go_v before_o the_o vocation_n of_o faith_n do_v not_o the_o same_o mercy_n free_o justify_v believer_n article_n of_o the_o creed_n than_o which_o as_o nothing_o be_v more_o sure_a so_o neither_o be_v there_o any_o thing_n which_o any_o man_n ought_v to_o doubt_v of_o about_o the_o assurance_n of_o bark_n of_o hosius_n andradius_fw-la and_o such_o like_a man_n shall_v be_v hiss_v away_o out_o of_o the_o society_n of_o christian_n who_o kick_v against_o the_o prick_n bring_v all_o thing_n into_o of_o salvation_n which_o they_o of_o trent_n condemn_v with_o a_o anathema_n hosius_n detest_v it_o as_o vain_a and_o unprofitable_a argue_v as_o if_o this_o assurance_n of_o divine_a grace_n do_v nothing_o but_o open_a to_o the_o conscience_n of_o man_n a_o door_n to_o a_o certain_a slothful_a laziness_n and_o dissolute_a life_n therefore_o say_v he_o as_o prudent_a father_n and_o master_n will_v not_o have_v we_o assure_v of_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v promise_v a_o son_n be_v promise_v to_o abraham_n and_o he_o believe_v not_o at_o all_o distrust_v he_o that_o promise_v and_o it_o be_v account_v a_o praise_n to_o he_o what_o then_o do_v you_o praise_v the_o undaunted_a confidence_n of_o abraham_n and_o do_v you_o dispraise_v we_o in_o like_a manner_n the_o seed_n to_o come_v
