god_n can_v grow_v out_o of_o the_o opinion_n of_o ghost_n for_o although_o the_o opinion_n of_o ghost_n have_v many_o reasonable_a and_o probable_a argument_n in_o nature_n to_o induce_v it_o which_o prevail_v with_o many_o philosopher_n to_o persuade_v they_o that_o there_o be_v such_o thing_n yet_o the_o argument_n for_o they_o be_v not_o of_o like_a force_n with_o those_o which_o evince_n there_o be_v a_o god_n and_o therefore_o the_o assurance_n of_o god_n may_v introduce_v and_o be_v a_o seed_n of_o the_o opinion_n of_o ghost_n but_o the_o opinion_n of_o ghost_n which_o be_v less_o certain_a and_o less_o evident_a can_v introduce_v it_o he_o bring_v no_o manner_n of_o proof_n for_o what_o he_o speak_v and_o in_o his_o catalogue_n of_o those_o deity_n which_o this_o opinion_n shall_v produce_v pag_n 55._o he_o name_v chaos_n ocean_n planet_n man_n woman_n and_o other_o thing_n which_o have_v no_o likeness_n with_o ghost_n or_o spirit_n although_o his_o daemon_n and_o acknowledge_v before_o but_o as_o he_o often_o do_v so_o he_o now_o forget_v what_o he_o have_v say_v ignorance_n of_o second_o cause_n that_o they_o be_v second_o and_o mistake_v they_o for_o first_o may_v make_v a_o man_n think_v they_o god_n and_o so_o turn_v a_o religion_n to_o they_o but_o as_o may_v appear_v at_o the_o bottom_n of_o the_o precede_a page_n 53._o he_o understand_v the_o ignorance_n of_o the_o causation_n of_o second_o cause_n which_o without_o doubt_n be_v so_o far_o from_o bring_v in_o religion_n that_o it_o be_v apt_a to_o produce_v atheism_n and_o a_o opinion_n that_o the_o world_n be_v govern_v by_o chance_n not_o by_o providence_n so_o that_o as_o for_o his_o first_o i_o deny_v it_o to_o be_v a_o seed_n of_o religion_n that_o be_v the_o opinion_n of_o opinion_n in_o other_o that_o god_n be_v the_o author_n of_o the_o evil_a of_o sin_n the_o one_o not_o apprehend_v his_o internal_a goodness_n conceive_v god_n evil_a in_o himself_o the_o other_o not_o apprehend_v his_o goodness_n in_o operation_n his_o benignity_n make_v he_o do_v and_o produce_v that_o be_v ill_a but_o the_o ignorance_n of_o he_o as_o a_o first_o cause_n can_v never_o introduce_v a_o religion_n to_o he_o but_o then_o take_v this_o ignorance_n of_o cause_n to_o be_v the_o ignorance_n of_o the_o causation_n of_o second_o cause_n we_o can_v conceive_v how_o that_o shall_v breed_v a_o fear_n of_o a_o invisible_a agent_n as_o he_o term_v it_o unless_o it_o be_v that_o god_n fortune_n which_o the_o poet_n deride_v te_fw-la facimus_fw-la fortuna_fw-la deum_fw-la
