and_o bring_v upon_o themselves_o swift_a and_o utter_a destruction_n but_o they_o can_v be_v so_o deceive_v because_o they_o be_v the_o elect_n therefore_o they_o can_v fall_v away_o so_o as_o to_o perish_v arg._n if_o the_o election_n of_o grace_n be_v absolute_a as_o the_o decree_n of_o argument_n day_n and_o night_n or_o as_o that_o of_o christ_n die_v for_o our_o sin_n if_o we_o be_v elect_v verse_n as_o a_o far_a confirmation_n and_o as_o a_o assurance_n of_o their_o safe_a stand_n who_o be_v too_o strong_a for_o omnipotence_n itself_o can_v any_o bring_v his_o counsel_n to_o nought_o or_o destroy_v such_o that_o he_o hold_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o his_o eternal_a decree_n in_o the_o hand_n of_o his_o everlasting_a love_n and_o affection_n and_o also_o in_o the_o hand_n of_o his_o amaze_a inconceivable_a and_o irresistible_a power_n that_o enemy_n that_o will_v destroy_v one_o saint_n must_v be_v a_o match_n for_o the_o infinite_a god_n and_o overcome_v he_o and_o rob_v he_o of_o his_o chief_a treasure_n or_o of_o his_o precious_a jewel_n o_o who_o dare_v to_o say_v this_o can_v be_v do_v well_o then_o assure_v yourselves_o that_o not_o one_o sheep_n of_o christ_n can_v perish_v sin_n must_v be_v strong_a than_o god_n if_o it_o destroy_v one_o of_o the_o elect_n and_o satan_n more_o mighty_a great_a in_o power_n than_o god_n which_o to_o think_v be_v blasphemy_n why_o shall_v our_o saviour_n here_o add_v my_o father_n be_v great_a than_o all_o be_v it_o not_o to_o signify_v the_o impossibility_n of_o their_o perish_v or_o to_o show_v how_o impossible_a it_o be_v that_o any_o enemy_n shall_v destroy_v they_o three_o by_o their_o be_v in_o the_o father_n hand_n may_v be_v mean_v jesus_n christ_n who_o be_v call_v the_o power_n of_o god_n and_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n 18._o because_o by_o and_o through_o he_o god_n exert_v his_o power_n or_o his_o strength_n to_o save_v or_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o power_n be_v manifest_v as_o well_o as_o of_o all_o his_o other_o attribute_n sin_n seem_v to_o eclipse_v the_o power_n of_o god_n in_o save_v his_o people_n because_o divine_a power_n can_v not_o save_v in_o a_o way_n of_o omnipotence_n to_o the_o impeachment_n of_o his_o justice_n and_o holiness_n but_o in_o christ_n justice_n and_o holiness_n be_v as_o much_o magnify_v as_o mercy_n and_o goodness_n and_o thereby_o so_o too_o that_o the_o power_n of_o god_n may_v shine_v forth_o in_o its_o full_a glory_n father_n glorify_v thy_o name_n say_v 28._o christ_n then_o come_v a_o voice_n from_o heaven_n say_v i_o have_v both_o mean_n and_o in_o such_o manner_n that_o the_o thing_n design_v can_v miscarry_v man_n indeed_o may_v miss_v of_o their_o end_n they_o aim_v at_o but_o what_o be_v direct_o in_o the_o hand_n of_o
