from_o the_o witness_n whether_o they_o be_v such_o as_o be_v for_o the_o beast_n or_o other_o they_o be_v not_o of_o the_o witness_n but_o be_v some_o that_o be_v affright_v at_o the_o witness_n have_v a_o spirit_n of_o life_n from_o god_n put_v upon_o they_o and_o their_o stand_n upon_o their_o foot_n and_o therefore_o not_o of_o they_o but_o some_o other_o and_o they_o be_v not_o of_o the_o seven_o thousand_o neither_o because_o they_o be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o remnant_n or_o the_o residue_n so_o then_o the_o meaning_n of_o this_o clause_n be_v this_o that_o the_o raise_n up_o of_o the_o witness_n in_o such_o a_o eminent_a manner_n to_o the_o shake_n of_o great_a babylon_n do_v so_o work_v upon_o the_o residue_n of_o people_n as_o be_v not_o of_o the_o witness_n nor_o of_o the_o seven_o thousand_o as_o that_o either_o they_o be_v affright_v at_o it_o or_o have_v their_o mouth_n open_v to_o glorify_v god_n in_o it_o or_o both_o and_o thus_o it_o be_v in_o the_o year_n 1645._o the_o generality_n of_o people_n both_o in_o the_o kingdom_n and_o in_o other_o that_o either_o see_v or_o hear_v of_o the_o great_a thing_n god_n do_v for_o the_o saint_n be_v either_o affright_v and_o amaze_v at_o it_o or_o else_o do_v glorify_v god_n in_o work_v so_o wonderful_o as_o he_o do_v for_o when_o god_n do_v work_v so_o wonderful_o and_o beyond_o expectation_n in_o give_v victory_n upon_o victory_n and_o success_n upon_o success_n unto_o his_o people_n so_o as_o they_o seem_v to_o be_v as_o they_o that_o dream_v i_o say_v when_o god_n do_v thus_o than_o the_o generality_n of_o people_n do_v admire_v and_o acknowledge_v god_n in_o it_o and_o give_v he_o the_o glory_n of_o it_o they_o glorify_v the_o god_n of_o heaven_n that_o have_v do_v such_o great_a thing_n in_o such_o a_o unexpected_a manner_n and_o in_o so_o short_a a_o time_n and_o thus_o the_o remnant_n be_v affright_v and_o give_v glory_n to_o the_o god_n of_o heaven_n verse_n 14._o the_o second_o woe_n be_v past_a and_o behold_v the_o three_o woe_n come_v quick_o in_o the_o 8._o chapter_n at_o the_o 13._o verse_n it_o be_v say_v that_o a_o angel_n do_v fly_v through_o the_o midst_n of_o heaven_n say_v part_n of_o the_o chapter_n which_o at_o this_o time_n i_o intend_v to_o treat_v of_o i_o now_o come_v to_o draw_v some_o deducation_n from_o it_o wherewith_o i_o shall_v conclude_v this_o treatise_n the_o application_n these_o verse_n be_v thus_o open_v many_o profitable_a deduction_n do_v arise_v therefrom_o but_o i_o shall_v pass_v by_o some_o of_o they_o and_o be_v as_o brief_a as_o i_o may_v their_o privilege_n phil._n 1._o 29._o unto_o you_o it_o be_v give_v in_o the_o behalf_n of_o christ_n not_o only_o to_o believe_v on_o he_o but_o also_o to_o suffer_v for_o his_o sake_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o the_o prophecy_n of_o micah_n speak_v of_o the_o rod_n of_o affliction_n as_o of_o the_o food_n of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n micah_n 7._o 14._o feed_v thy_o people_n with_o thy_o rod_n the_o flock_n of_o thy_o heritage_n which_o dwell_v solitary_o in_o the_o wood_n and_o as_o in_o micah_n god_n be_v say_v to_o feed_v his_o people_n with_o his_o rod_n so_o he_o be_v say_v to_o stranger_n to_o it_o such_o as_o be_v a_o far_o off_o as_o such_o as_o be_v enemy_n to_o the_o temple_n and_o will_v have_v the_o temple_n ruin_v and_o lay_v waist_n but_o note_n though_o the_o difference_n between_o jew_n and_o gentile_n since_o the_o day_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v take_v away_o and_o the_o gentile_n as_o well_o as_o the_o jew_n may_v now_o be_v of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n if_o they_o be_v build_v upon_o the_o lord_n jesus_n yet_o the_o word_n gentiles_n be_v here_o use_v to_o express_v those_o that_o be_v not_o of_o the_o church_n nor_o of_o the_o temple_n but_o will_v have_v the_o temple_n ruin_v and_o as_o the_o babylonian_n of_o old_a have_v the_o temple_n for_o a_o while_n give_v unto_o they_o so_o now_o jesus_n christ_n give_v his_o spiritual_a temple_n into_o the_o hand_n of_o these_o gentile_n the_o mystical_a babylonian_n for_o a_o while_n and_o the_o holy_a city_n this_o title_n the_o holy_a city_n we_o find_v in_o scripture_n be_v first_o give_v unto_o the_o city_n of_o jerusalem_n the_o city_n wherein_o the_o material_a temple_n be_v situate_a as_o appear_v matth._n 37._o 3._o where_o it_o be_v say_v at_o the_o death_n of_o our_o saviour_n it_o be_v the_o place_n wherein_o man_n ought_v in_o a_o more_o especial_a manner_n to_o worship_n god_n and_o therefore_o say_v the_o woman_n of_o samaria_n you_o say_v in_o jerusalem_n be_v the_o place_n where_o man_n ought_v to_o worship_v and_o our_o saviour_n do_v not_o contradict_v this_o for_o indeed_o it_o be_v out_o of_o all_o contradiction_n that_o jerusalem_n have_v be_v the_o place_n where_o man_n ought_v to_o worship_n for_o god_n have_v place_v his_o name_n there_o and_o there_o he_o will_v be_v worship_v because_o the_o temple_n be_v there_o wherein_o be_v his_o special_a presence_n so_o that_o in_o this_o respect_n jerusalem_n be_v once_o a_o more_o holy_a city_n than_o other_o but_o when_o the_o cause_n be_v take_v away_o the_o effect_n cease_v when_o jerusalem_n cease_v to_o be_v the_o place_n where_o man_n be_v enjoin_v to_o worship_n god_n and_o god_n have_v remove_v his_o special_a presence_n from_o the_o temple_n then_o jerusalem_n be_v no_o more_o holy_a than_o another_o place_n and_o because_o that_o jerusalem_n be_v to_o cease_v to_o be_v the_o place_n of_o worship_n and_o the_o holy_a place_n therefore_o it_o be_v that_o our_o saviour_n john_n 4._o that_o worship_n therein_o not_o only_o the_o place_n of_o worship_n but_o the_o worshipper_n so_o that_o this_o take_v in_o all_o saint_n as_o they_o be_v a_o temple_n as_o their_o assembly_n be_v the_o place_n wherein_o god_n be_v worship_v and_o instruction_n be_v give_v and_o receive_v and_o as_o they_o be_v worshipper_n as_o saint_n worship_v god_n and_o possess_v god_n verse_n 2._o but_o the_o court_n that_o be_v without_o the_o temple_n the_o court_n be_v say_v to_o be_v without_o the_o temple_n as_o of_o old_a the_o court_n be_v without_o the_o temple_n and_o be_v a_o more_o appoint_v to_o they_o yet_o have_v he_o no_o such_o respect_n unto_o such_o as_o be_v not_o he_o though_o they_o be_v professor_n though_o they_o seem_v to_o be_v near_o the_o temple_n yet_o if_o
