as_o we_o be_v as_o for_o good_a thing_n what_o may_v they_o be_v which_o be_v suitable_a to_o a_o reasonable_a soul_n notwithstanding_o it_o be_v separate_a from_o the_o body_n certain_o as_o the_o happiness_n of_o the_o eye_n consist_v in_o see_v agreeable_a thing_n and_o as_o the_o happiness_n of_o the_o ear_n in_o hear_v pleasant_a and_o harmonious_a sound_n and_o general_o the_o happiness_n of_o all_o the_o other_o sense_n in_o exercise_v themselves_o upon_o those_o object_n whereunto_o nature_n have_v appoint_v they_o with_o pleasure_n and_o content_n the_o happiness_n of_o the_o separate_a soul_n consist_v in_o a_o suitable_a exercise_n of_o its_o faculty_n upon_o the_o most_o excellent_a object_n which_o can_v be_v present_v to_o it_o and_o in_o the_o joy_n that_o be_v consequent_a thereunto_o it_o be_v understanding_n therefore_o be_v both_o perfect_o purify_v in_o itself_o and_o fill_v with_o the_o presence_n of_o object_n so_o admirable_a its_o happiness_n in_o this_o respect_n be_v proportionable_a to_o the_o excellency_n of_o its_o operation_n and_o those_o contemplation_n in_o which_o it_o be_v perpetual_o employ_v if_o those_o therefore_o that_o have_v any_o spark_n of_o generosity_n and_o any_o thing_n brave_a in_o their_o soul_n do_v esteem_v those_o happy_a that_o have_v obtain_v any_o skill_n in_o those_o science_n to_o which_o man_n ordinary_o nature_n have_v place_v in_o those_o sense_n for_o pleasure_v proper_o consist_v in_o this_o that_o now_o when_o the_o object_n that_o be_v without_o do_v occur_v unto_o our_o faculty_n and_o apply_v themselves_o to_o the_o desire_n or_o capacity_n that_o be_v there_o with_o so_o much_o proportion_n and_o equality_n that_o the_o motion_n that_o they_o make_v there_o be_v neither_o too_o languish_v nor_o too_o violent_a but_o in_o a_o agreeable_a measure_n the_o pleasure_n of_o the_o mind_n when_o it_o employ_v itself_o with_o success_n in_o the_o contemplation_n of_o thing_n intellectual_a be_v much_o more_o great_a than_o that_o of_o the_o eye_n or_o ear_n because_o it_o be_v a_o more_o noble_a faculty_n and_o thing_n spiritual_a be_v more_o excellent_a than_o body_n and_o by_o consequence_n operation_n more_o exquisite_a and_o curious_a do_v arise_v from_o the_o occurrence_n of_o they_o from_o whence_o it_o follow_v necessary_o that_o when_o the_o faculty_n of_o the_o soul_n be_v come_v to_o that_o point_n of_o perfection_n in_o which_o they_o do_v as_o it_o be_v as_o much_o surpass_v themselves_o when_o they_o be_v in_o a_o state_n of_o nature_n as_o in_o this_o state_n of_o nature_n they_o do_v surpass_v the_o eye_n and_o ear_n and_o that_o when_o the_o object_n that_o be_v present_v to_o they_o have_v as_o many_o or_o more_o degree_n of_o excellency_n whence_o it_o do_v derive_v for_o thing_n that_o be_v excellent_a do_v draw_v our_o affection_n for_o their_o own_o sake_n and_o deserve_v our_o love_n by_o the_o sole_a respect_n of_o their_o beauty_n and_o the_o content_a that_o we_o take_v in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o they_o be_v a_o cause_n that_o we_o love_v they_o also_o for_o our_o own_o sake_n because_o we_o love_v ourselves_o it_o can_v be_v that_o in_o that_o respect_n we_o shall_v not_o love_v those_o thing_n that_o minister_n to_o our_o satisfaction_n beside_o we_o be_v so_o natural_o dispose_v that_o we_o do_v not_o only_o love_v those_o object_n from_o whence_o such_o excellent_a knowledge_n derive_v but_o we_o singular_o esteem_v the_o mean_n by_o which_o we_o do_v enjoy_v it_o and_o it_o be_v for_o that_o reason_n that_o some_o have_v say_v that_o we_o have_v our_o eye_n above_o our_o other_o bodily_a sense_n because_o they_o discover_v to_o our_o knowledge_n a_o far_o great_a multitude_n of_o thing_n than_o our_o other_o and_o under_o great_a variety_n and_o experience_n teach_v we_o that_o of_o all_o visible_a object_n light_n seem_v to_o be_v most_o beautiful_a and_o pleasant_a which_o come_v to_o pass_v not_o only_o from_o its_o natural_a constitution_n in_o that_o it_o seem_v to_o be_v the_o object_n which_o have_v the_o most_o proportion_n with_o the_o faculty_n of_o see_v but_o also_o because_o it_o be_v that_o which_o render_v other_o thing_n visible_a and_o which_o if_o i_o may_v so_o say_v do_v colour_n even_o colour_n themselves_o and_o give_v the_o form_n and_o figure_n to_o the_o form_n and_o figure_n of_o body_n so_o that_o we_o may_v not_o doubt_v but_o that_o bless_a soul_n be_v whole_o inflame_v with_o the_o love_n of_o the_o person_n and_o thing_n which_o on_o love_v and_o know_v that_o we_o be_v

the_o church_n as_o a_o member_n have_v relation_n to_o his_o body_n now_o to_o consider_v he_o in_o himself_o see_v he_o be_v compose_v of_o a_o soul_n and_o a_o body_n to_o whatsoever_o perfection_n the_o soul_n be_v advance_v so_o it_o be_v that_o whilst_o the_o body_n remain_v under_o the_o power_n of_o death_n its_o happiness_n be_v not_o complete_a to_o consider_v it_o in_o the_o relation_n that_o it_o and_o the_o world_n have_v between_o each_o other_o forasmuch_o as_o the_o world_n be_v make_v foreman_n and_o have_v be_v make_v subject_a to_o vanity_n by_o reason_n of_o he_o when_o providence_n of_o god_n and_o as_o to_o the_o assurance_n of_o their_o hope_n they_o be_v more_o than_o most_o assure_v that_o it_o will_v never_o fail_v they_o since_o god_n have_v promise_v it_o and_o the_o power_n that_o he_o have_v to_o execute_v his_o counsel_n find_v no_o where_o either_o difficulty_n or_o impossibility_n to_o arrest_v or_o hinder_v it_o to_o conclude_v as_o to_o what_o respect_v their_o condition_n the_o little_a which_o i_o have_v above_o report_v of_o it_o represent_v it_o capable_a of_o swallow_v up_o in_o the_o sweetness_n of_o its_o content_n all_o resentment_n
