but_o then_o this_o adversary_n of_o they_o shall_v have_v no_o power_n to_o oppose_v they_o for_o this_o thousand_o year_n but_o he_o shall_v be_v bind_v up_o for_o so_o say_v the_o holy_a spirit_n rev._n 20._o 1_o 2_o 3._o and_o i_o see_v a_o angel_n come_v down_o from_o heaven_n have_v the_o key_n of_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n and_o a_o great_a chain_n in_o his_o hand_n and_o he_o lay_v hold_v on_o the_o dragon_n that_o old_a serpent_n which_o be_v the_o devil_n and_o satan_n and_o bind_v he_o a_o thousand_o year_n and_o cast_v he_o into_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n and_o shut_v he_o up_o a_o little_a season_n here_o we_o see_v that_o for_o this_o thousand_o year_n after_o the_o destruction_n of_o the_o beast_n and_o false_a prophet_n and_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o all_o other_o enemy_n of_o the_o saint_n that_o grand_a enemy_n of_o the_o saint_n be_v lay_v low_o also_o even_o that_o roar_a lion_n and_o that_o you_o may_v be_v sure_a it_o be_v he_o that_o be_v thus_o clap_v under_o hatch_n he_o be_v here_o set_v out_o under_o those_o several_a denomination_n that_o the_o scripture_n in_o several_a place_n give_v he_o and_o first_o he_o be_v style_v the_o dragon_n but_o lest_o it_o shall_v be_v doubtful_a what_o the_o dragon_n be_v it_o follow_v that_o he_o be_v that_o old_a serpent_n and_o lest_o this_o be_v not_o plain_a enough_o it_o be_v further_o say_v which_o be_v the_o devil_n and_o satan_n thus_o this_o enemy_n of_o the_o saint_n be_v we_o see_v to_o be_v bind_v up_o also_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v say_v that_o a_o angel_n have_v a_o great_a chain_n in_o his_o hand_n lay_v hold_v of_o he_o and_o bind_v he_o for_o a_o thousand_o year_n and_o he_o do_v not_o only_o bind_v he_o but_o cast_v he_o into_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n nay_o and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o he_o shut_v he_o up_o in_o the_o pit_n and_o set_v a_o seal_n upon_o he_o import_v the_o do_v of_o it_o to_o purpose_n the_o do_v of_o it_o secure_o that_o so_o he_o may_v deceive_v the_o nation_n no_o more_o until_o the_o thousand_o year_n be_v finish_v thus_o be_v it_o clear_a that_o in_o this_o thousand_o year_n this_o great_a enemy_n of_o the_o saint_n shall_v have_v no_o power_n to_o molest_v they_o and_o this_o be_v that_o which_o paul_n also_o speak_v of_o rom._n 16._o 20._o the_o god_n of_o peace_n shall_v tread_v satan_n under_o your_o foot_n short_o in_o that_o the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o the_o do_v of_o it_o in_o the_o future_a time_n as_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v do_v short_o it_o be_v clear_a that_o he_o mean_v not_o that_o tread_v down_o of_o satan_n which_o be_v then_o already_o do_v even_o that_o which_o christ_n have_v do_v upon_o the_o cross_n when_o he_o conquer_a sin_n and_o satan_n and_o so_o in_o a_o sense_n tread_v satan_n under_o the_o foot_n of_o his_o saint_n but_o of_o a_o further_o tread_v of_o he_o under_o foot_n which_o be_v to_o be_v do_v in_o future_a time_n but_o yet_o we_o have_v not_o see_v satan_n tread_v any_o more_o under_o foot_n than_o he_o be_v in_o the_o apostle_n time_n for_o great_a be_v his_o prevalencie_n in_o the_o midnight_n of_o popery_n then_o in_o the_o apostle_n time_n it_o be_v therefore_o this_o tread_v under_o foot_n of_o satan_n of_o which_o paul_n speak_v be_v yet_o to_o come_v and_o doubtless_o the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o this_o time_n when_o satan_n shall_v be_v bind_v up_o and_o shut_v up_o in_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n and_o seal_v and_o when_o this_o time_n be_v come_v will_v this_o prophecy_n of_o paul_n be_v make_v good_a the_o god_n of_o peace_n shall_v tread_v satan_n under_o your_o foot_n short_o and_o now_o have_v thus_o far_o describe_v this_o new_a world_n show_v how_o it_o shall_v be_v settle_v in_o peace_n by_o the_o god_n of_o peace_n and_o that_o satan_n shall_v be_v tread_v under_o the_o foot_n of_o his_o saint_n i_o shall_v now_o proceed_v to_o declare_v the_o great_a and_o glorious_a privilege_n that_o shall_v then_o and_o in_o this_o kingdom_n be_v confer_v upon_o the_o saint_n and_o they_o may_v be_v refer_v to_o two_o head_n 1._o spiritual_a and_o internal_a 2._o outward_a and_o external_a of_o the_o spiritual_a privilege_n and_o prerogative_n that_o saint_n shall_v then_o enjoy_v and_o first_o i_o shall_v speak_v of_o the_o spiritual_a privilege_n and_o blessing_n which_o the_o saint_n shall_v then_o enjoy_v for_o therein_o shall_v be_v their_o great_a joy_n and_o glory_n and_o without_o which_o the_o other_o sort_n of_o blessing_n will_v be_v rather_o hurtful_a then_o profitable_a to_o they_o now_o the_o fountain_n of_o all_o their_o spiritual_a advantage_n and_o privilege_n will_v consist_v in_o the_o abundant_a pour_v out_o of_o the_o spirit_n upon_o they_o of_o which_o i_o shall_v first_o speak_v and_o then_o of_o the_o particular_a effect_n and_o benefit_n of_o it_o and_o of_o this_o abundant_a pour_v out_o of_o the_o spirit_n the_o scripture_n speak_v plentiful_o in_o several_a place_n as_o isa_n 44._o 3._o i_o will_v pour_v water_n upon_o he_o that_o be_v thirsty_a and_o flood_n upon_o the_o dry_a ground_n i_o will_v pour_v my_o spirit_n upon_o thy_o seed_n and_o my_o blessing_n upon_o to_o make_v war_n against_o jesus_n christ_n and_o his_o saint_n be_v lay_v down_o in_o the_o precede_a chapter_n in_o this_o chapter_n follow_v a_o declaration_n of_o what_o thing_n will_v succeed_v it_o and_o that_o which_o be_v to_o this_o purpose_n be_v in_o the_o 4_o 5_o &_o 6_o verse_n and_o i_o see_v throne_n and_o they_o sit_v upon_o they_o and_o judgement_n be_v give_v unto_o they_o and_o i_o see_v the_o soul_n of_o they_o that_o be_v behead_v for_o the_o witness_n of_o jesus_n and_o for_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o which_o have_v not_o worship_v the_o beast_n neither_o his_o his_o saint_n but_o that_o also_o their_o internal_a and_o invisible_a enemy_n shall_v be_v chain_v up_o for_o now_o the_o saint_n wrestle_v not_o only_o with_o flesh_n and_o blood_n but_o with_o
