to_o release_v they_o of_o their_o sin_n to_o geve_v they_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n and_o everlasting_a life_n you_o have_v hear_v also_o that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n have_v promise_v in_o his_o gospel_n to_o grant_v all_o these_o thing_n that_o you_o have_v pray_v for_o which_o promise_v he_o for_o his_o part_n will_v most_o sure_o keep_v and_o perform_v wherefore_o after_o this_o promise_n make_v by_o chryste_n these_o infant_n must_v also_o faithful_o for_o their_o part_n promise_n by_o you_o that_o be_v their_o surety_n that_o they_o will_v forsake_v the_o devil_n and_o all_o his_o work_n and_o constant_o believe_v god_n holy_a word_n and_o obedient_o keep_v his_o commandment_n then_o shall_v the_o priest_n demand_v of_o the_o godfather_n and_o godmother_n these_o question_n follow_v do_v thou_o forsake_v the_o devil_n and_o all_o his_o work_n the_o vain_a pomp_n and_o glory_n of_o the_o world_n with_o all_o covetouse_n desire_v of_o the_o same_o the_o carnal_a they_o amen_n grant_v that_o all_o carnal_a affetion_n may_v dye_v in_o they_o and_o that_o all_o thing_n belong_v to_o the_o spirit_n may_v live_v and_o grow_v in_o they_o amen_n grant_v that_o they_o may_v have_v power_n and_o strength_n to_o have_v victory_n and_o to_o triumph_n against_o the_o devil_n the_o world_n and_o the_o flesh_n amen_n grant_v that_o whosoever_o be_v here_o dedicate_v to_o thou_o by_o our_o office_n and_o ministry_n may_v also_o be_v endue_v with_o heavenly_a virtue_n &_o everlastynglye_o reward_v through_o thy_o mercy_n o_o bless_a lord_n god_n who_o child_n through_o jesus_n chryst_n our_o lord_n then_o the_o priest_n shall_v take_v the_o child_n in_o his_o hand_n and_o ask_v the_o name_n and_o name_v the_o child_n shall_v dip_v it_o in_o the_o water_n so_o it_o be_v discrete_o and_o wary_o do_v say_v n_o i_o baptise_v thou_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n and_o of_o the_o son_n and_o of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n amen_n and_o if_o the_o child_n be_v weak_a it_o shall_v suffice_v to_o pour_v water_n upon_o it_o say_v the_o foresay_a word_n n_o i_o baptise_v thou_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n and_o of_o the_o son_n and_o of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n amen_n then_o the_o priest_n shall_v make_v a_o cross_n upon_o the_o child_n forehead_n say_v we_o receyve_v this_o child_n into_o the_o congregation_n of_o christ_n stock_n and_o do_v sign_n he_o with_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o cross_n in_o token_n that_o hereafter_o he_o shall_v not_o be_v ashamed_a to_o confess_v the_o faith_n of_o chryste_n crucify_v and_o manful_o to_o fight_v under_o his_o banner_n against_o sin_n the_o world_n and_o the_o devil_n and_o to_o continue_v christ_n faithful_a souldioure_fw-fr and_o servant_n unto_o his_o lyves_n end_n amen_n then_o shall_v the_o priest_n say_v sing_v now_o dere_o belove_v brethren_n that_o these_o child_n be_v regenerate_v and_o graft_v into_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n congregacyon_n let_v we_o geve_v thanks_n unto_o god_n for_o these_o benefit_n &_o with_o one_o accord_n make_v our_o prayer_n unto_o almyghtye_a god_n that_o they_o may_v lead_v the_o rest_n of_o their_o life_n accord_v to_o this_o beginning_a then_o shall_v be_v say_v our_o father_n which_o art_n in_o heaven_n etc._n etc._n then_o shall_v the_o priest_n say_v we_o yield_v thou_o hearty_a thanks_n most_o merciful_a father_n that_o it_o have_v please_v thou_o to_o regenerate_v this_o infant_n with_o thy_o holy_a spirit_n to_o receyve_v he_o for_o thy_o own_o child_n by_o adoption_n and_o to_o incorporate_v he_o into_o thy_o holy_a congregation_n and_o humble_o we_o beseech_v thou_o to_o grant_v that_o he_o be_v dead_a unto_o
