verse 4 To be remembred he hath made his works most wonderfull The LORD alwayes most gracious is and of compassion full verse 5 He unto them that fear him hath given meat aboundantlie He of his Covenant made most sure will ever mindfull be verse 6 He to the people of his works hath shew'd the power most large That of the heathen he may give to them the heritage verse 7 The works of his hands veritie and judgement are alway All his divine commandments still are sure and fast for ay verse 8 For ever and for ever they stand with great stedfastnesse And are also most wisely done in trueth and uprightnesse verse 9 He sent redemption to his folk his Cov'nant of great fame For ever he commanded hath right holy is his Name verse 10 Gods fear wisdomes beginning is good understanding sure Have they that do his word his praise for ever doth endure PSAL. CXII PRaise ye the Lord blest is the man that fears the LORD aright That in his wise commandments all still greatly doth delight verse 2 His seed shall mighty be upon the earth assuredlie The uprights generation shall for ever blessed be verse 3 Great wealth and riches ever fast shall in his house be sure And his most perfect righteousnesse for ever doth endure verse 4 To the upright ariseth light in darknesse speedilie Most gracious of compassion full and righteous al 's is he verse 5 A good man sheweth favour still and willingly doth lend He with discretion his affaires will guide ev'n to the end verse 6 He surely not for ever shall be mov'd so fix'd is he The righteous in remembrance sure shall everlasting be verse 7 He shall not be afraid of what ill tidings can afford His heart is ever fixed fast still trusting in the Lord. verse 8 His heart always estabish'd is he not afraid shall be Untill upon his enmies all his full desire he see verse 9 He hath dispersd and given to poor his righteousnesse for ay Endures his horn with honour shall exalted be alway verse 10 The wicked grieved shall it see his teeth he gnashing all Shall melt away and the desire of ill men perish shall PSAL. CXIII PRaise ye the Lord O of the Lord ye servants now proclame His worthy praise of God the Lord praise the most holy Name verse 2 Now of the LORD most blessed be the Name which we adore From this time forth from age to age and al 's for evermore verse 3 From the first rising of the Sun unto his going down The LORDS Name to be honour'd is with praise and great renown verse 4 The LORD above all nations is most high in Majestie And likewise is his glory great above the heavens hie verse 5 Who is now like unto the LORD our God who doth excell Who on high in the highest heav'n with Majestie doth dwell verse 6 Who though most high yet he himseâ—â— still humbleth in his love Things to behold that are on earth and in the heav'ns above verse 7 Out of the dust he raiseth up the poor in miserie And out of the dung hill also the needie lifteth hie verse 8 That he him up in dignitie with Princes high may set With those that of his people all are ev'n the Princes great He doth the barren woman make to keep house and to be A mother glade of children dear the mighty LORD praise yee PSAL. CXIIII WHen Israel out of Egypt land went by a happy change And Jacobs house a people left that were of language strange His Sanctuarie Judah was wherein he chosd to dwell â—nd Isra'l his dominion al 's which he did rule right well The sea it saw and as in feare with hast the flight did take And Jordans river running straight was driv'n most quickly back verse 4 The mountains steep with their high tops did quake and skip as rams So did like wise the little hills ev'n like the younger lambs verse 5 What aild thee O thou troubled fâ— that thou the flight didst take Thou Jordan that so speedilie thou wast by force driv'n back verse 6 Ye mountaines high what was 〈◊〉 cauâ—â— that ye did skip like rams What mov'd you also little hills to skip like younger lambs verse 7 Thou at the presence of the Lord earth tremble all and fear Ev'n at the presence of the GOD of Jacob to him dear verse 8 Which into waters turn'd the roâ— ev'n standing like a lake And in the flint a fountain fair of waters clear did make PSAL. CXV LOrd not to us not unto us but unto thy name take Great glory for thy stedfast truth and for thy mercies sake verse 2 Wherefore should new the heath 〈◊〉 where is their God alone But our God's in the heav'ns he hath what ever he pleased done Their idols silver are and gold workes of mens hands they be They have mouths made but can not speak and eyes but they not see Of ears they have the shape but they hear not what men do tell They noses formed also have but there with cannot smell They hands have but they handle not and feet but cannot walk A throat they have but throgh it they can no way speak or talk To those vain things they are most like that in their wayes unjust Them make ev'n so is every one that into them doth trust verse 9 Trust thou O Israel in the Lord their help and shield that be verse 10 Trust in the Lord O A'rons house their help and shield is he verse 11 Ye that do fear the living Lord trust in the Lord alway He is their strong help and their shield that still upon him stay verse 12 The Lord of us hath mindfull been he sure will blesse us still He will blesse Israls house the house of Aaron blesse he will verse 13 He wil them blesse that fear the Lord and that both great and small verse 14 God shal increase you more more you and your children all verse 15 You all that have an upright heart are blessed of the Lord Which both the heav'n al 's the earth made by his mighty word verse 16 The heav'n ye ev'n the heav'ns above are all the Lords by right But to the sons of men he hath the earth giv'n by his might verse 17 The dead in grave can in no way praise give the Lord unto Nor any whatsoever that down into 〈◊〉 go But we the mighty Lord above will blesse with one accord â—om this time forth for evermore most gladly praise the Lord. CXVI Love the Lord and that because he with attentive ear â—y voice and supplications al 's most willingly did hear Because he hath inclin'd his ear unto me troubled all â—erefore as long as heer I live I will upon him call Of death the sorrows compassd me and paines of hell got hold â—oon time I found troubles great and sorrows manifold Upon the name of GOD the LORD then did I call and say LORD my soul

CXXXIII BEhold how good a thing it is and pleasant for to see That brethren should together dwell in peace and unitie verse 2 Like precious ointment on the heaâ— that on the beard did fall Ev'n Aarons beard that to the skirts went of his garments all â—'n Aarons beard who was a man by GOD almighty sent â—â—t down from thence unto the skirts of all his garments went â—ike Hermons dew like dew which down the Zions hills ran o're â— there the blessing God ordain'd ev'n life for evermore PSAL. CXXXIV â—Ehold and blesse the Lord all ye that serve the LORD aright â—â—ich in the house of God the Lord to serve him stand by night Your hands lift in the Sanctuary and bless the Lord in this The Lord that made the heav'n and earth thee out of Zion blesse PSAL. CXXXV â—Raise ye the Lord praise ye also his Name with one accord â—â—aise him with heart and voice O ye the servants of the Lord. LXXXV THou fav'rable O LORD hast been unto thy land we see Of Jacob now brought back thou hast the long captivitie verse 2 Thou of thy people hast forgiven the great iniquitie In thy great mercie all their sin hath covered been by thee verse 4 In mercy thou thy fearfull wrath hast taken all away Thou from thine angers fiercenes gâ— hast turn'd thy self alway verse 4 O GOD of our salvation now turne us thee for to please And cause thine anger at the last now towards us to cease verse 5 Wilt thou for ever angry be with us thy people small Wilt thou also thy wrath draw out to generations all verse 6 Wilt thou not now revive againe us who distressed be That thy afflicted people may alwaies rejoice in thee verse 7 Thy great mercie O LORD alwaâ—â— shew to us in our place And also thy salvation dear now grant us by thy grace verse 8 What God wil speak I 'le hear for to his saints and people plain He will speak peace but let them not to foly turn again verse 9 Surely his great salvation is most nigh to to them at hand That fear him so that glory may dwell stedfast in our land verse 10 Both mercy now and also truth are joyntly met together And righteousnesse and peace also have each one kissed other verse 11 Out of the earth truth pleasantly shall spring it for to crown And righteousnesse with Majestie shall from the heaven look down verse 12 Yea what is good the Lord above shall give it with his hand And her increase most plentifull yeeld shall our fertile land verse 13 Then righteousnes most gravely â— before him go alway And of his steps which never fail shall set us in the way PSAL. LXXXVI IN mercy Lord bow down thine eâ— hear thou me by and by For needy in a great distresse and also poor am I. verse 2 My soul now for I holy am preserve by thy good will O thou my GOD thy servant save that trusteth in thee still verse 3 Since Lord I to thee daily cry be mercifull to me verse 4 Rejoice O Lord thy servants soul for it I lift to thee verse 5 For thou LORD art for ever good and to forgive most free And in mercy most plenteous al 's to all that call on thee verse 6 Unto the prayer that I make in mercy now give ear And to my supplications voice O LORD attend and hear verse 7 In the day of my trouble I will surely call on thee For thou in thy great mercy wilt most surely answer me verse 8 Among the gods O LORD to thee there 's none like great or small Nor are there any works now like unto thy workes at all verse 9 All nations great whom thou O Lord hast made mov'd by thy fame Shall come and worship thee before and glorifie thy Name verse 10 For thou art very great indeed and by thy power are done Most wondrous things that heer we see thou art ev'n God alone verse 11 Teach me thy way O Lord I wil walk in thy truth sincere By thy good sprit unite my heart thy holy Name to feare verse 12 O Lord my God with all my hâ— praise I will gladly thee And thy great Name for evermore I al 's will glorifie verse 13 For thy mercy now towards me in greatnesse doth excell And thou my soul deliv'red hast even from the lowest hell verse 14 O GOD the proud against men troups violent now have met That for my soul have sought and hâ— thee not before them set verse 15 But thou Lord a God gracious aâ— and of compassion full Long suffring and most plenteous aâ— in truth and mercie still verse 16 O turne to me and in distresse upon me mercy have Unto thy servant give thy strength thine hand-maids son now save verse 17 For good me shew a token thaâ— my haters may it see â—nd be asham'd because thou LORD didst help and comfort me PSAL. LXXXVII NOw in the holie mountaines his fundation is not small The gate of Zion GOD loves more then Jacobs dwellings all O GODs citie most glorious things are spoken still of thee I 'le Babylon and Rachab name to them that now know me â—ehold Tyre and Philistia a people most forlorne â—ee also Ethiopia this man ev'n there was borne And of Sion it shall be said this and that man at last Was borne in Her and the most High establish shall her fast The Lord shal count when he writs up the people once profane â—hat this man in this city was renew'd and borne again verse 7 Both singers there and players â— on instruments shall be All my best hearts affections still as well springs are in thee PSAL. LXXXVIII LORD GOD of my salvation I have with all my might Still cri'd in mine affliction before thee day and night verse 2 Let my prayer before thee come that thou the same my hear In my distresse and grief incline unto my cry thine ear verse 3 For my soul is of troubles full which daily vex'd me have My poor distressed life also drawes neer unto the grave verse 4 I counted am with them that dâ— into the pit doth fall I verilie am as a man that hath no strength at all verse 5 Like slaine that lie in grave amoâ— the dead from doings free Whom thou remembrest not and they cut off by thy hand be Thou hast me with thy haÌ„d laid down the lowest pit me keeps â—n darknesse I do still abide even in the greatest deeps Thy wrath doth lye upon me hard and thou who others saves Me hast afflicted fearfully with all thy boistrous waves Thou mine acquaintance far from me hast put as of no worth Thou hast me made abhorr'd I now shut up can not come foorth verse 9 By reason of affliction Lord thus mourneth still
