blind_a devotion_n which_o he_o speak_v concern_v the_o light_n of_o faith_n shine_v forth_o in_o good_a work_n to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n whereas_o your_o external_a worship_n as_o it_o be_v a_o fruit_n of_o your_o blind_a devotion_n so_o it_o be_v that_o whereby_o god_n be_v great_o dishonour_v and_o that_o both_o actual_o in_o itself_o and_o effectual_o in_o the_o beholder_n first_o actual_o in_o itself_o all_o false_a worship_n or_o will-worship_n for_o both_o be_v one_o be_v a_o dishonour_n to_o god_n 15.9_o in_o vain_a they_o worship_v i_o teach_v for_o doctrine_n the_o man_n heart_n far_o from_o god_n as_o there_o the_o prophet_n show_v and_o such_o as_o behold_v and_o affect_v and_o imitate_v your_o devise_n in_o external_a worship_n they_o be_v as_o much_o puff_v up_o with_o vainglory_n that_o they_o imitate_v and_o so_o please_v such_o a_o great_a man_n as_o yourself_o as_o they_o never_o think_v of_o glorify_v god_n and_o last_o god_n be_v not_o glorify_v by_o blind_a and_o superstitious_a worshipper_n but_o by_o good_a work_n spring_v from_o the_o inward_a light_n of_o faith_n now_o your_o blind_a devotion_n be_v not_o to_o be_v reckon_v and_o rank_v among_o good_a work_n for_o good_a work_n be_v such_o and_o so_o do_v as_o god_n have_v command_v but_o your_o external_a worship_n as_o you_o call_v it_o be_v a_o will-worship_n and_o so_o a_o false_a worship_n which_o god_n no_o where_o have_v command_v but_o every_o where_o express_o forbid_v be_v no_o good_a work_n but_o as_o aug._n say_v splendida_fw-la peccata_fw-la a_o glare_a false_a worship_n but_o it_o seem_v this_o your_o external_a worship_n the_o fruit_n of_o your_o devotion_n be_v all_o the_o good_a work_n you_o have_v to_o show_v that_o man_n thereby_o may_v see_v what_o kind_a of_o light_n be_v in_o you_o which_o be_v not_o any_o true_a but_o a_o false_a light_n i_o proceed_v but_o how_o have_v this_o ignis_fw-la fatuus_fw-la of_o you_o carry_v i_o so_o out_o of_o my_o way_n that_o i_o have_v over_o skip_v one_o passage_n in_o the_o same_o page_n a_o little_a before_o but_o yet_o come_v in_o here_o it_o will_v the_o more_o fit_o usher_v in_o the_o next_o by_o this_o time_n we_o be_v sufficient_o acquaint_v with_o your_o sincerity_n of_o religion_n profess_v in_o the_o church_n of_o england_n for_o we_o have_v your_o external_a worship_n as_o the_o great_a witness_n thereof_o of_o which_o your_o sincerity_n so_o much_o be_v speak_v as_o we_o have_v leave_v a_o great_a hole_n in_o it_o and_o the_o nature_n of_o that_o your_o sincerity_n of_o religion_n profess_v in_o the_o church_n of_o england_n due_o consider_v can_v we_o marvel_v if_o most_o man_n mind_n in_o the_o kingdom_n fall_v a_o waver_a yea_o and_o if_o they_o be_v true_o conscientious_a man_n indeed_o not_o such_o as_o you_o mean_v to_o wit_n mere_a formalist_n or_o newter_n no_o marvel_n if_o you_o find_v multitude_n of_o they_o if_o multitude_n of_o such_o be_v leave_v to_o fall_v quite_o off_o from_o the_o sincerity_n of_o your_o religion_n profess_v in_o the_o church_n of_o england_n but_o if_o any_o of_o your_o conscientious_a man_n be_v draw_v aside_o what_o be_v the_o cause_n want_v of_o uniform_a and_o decent_a order_n in_o too_o many_o church_n in_o the_o kingdom_n but_o do_v you_o not_o see_v on_o the_o other_o side_n a_o whole_a nation_n have_v do_v well_o first_o to_o have_v make_v all_o uniform_a at_o home_n before_o you_o press_v too_o hard_o upon_o your_o neighbour-countrey_n and_o if_o too_o many_o church_n in_o england_n be_v not_o uniform_a who_o fault_n be_v that_o not_o you_o i_o dare_v say_v have_v not_o you_o and_o your_o brother_n prelate_n do_v pretty_a well_o to_o it_o in_o suspend_v silence_v excommunicate_v
