to_o prove_v all_o thing_n and_o if_o we_o say_v the_o apostle_n or_o a_o angel_n from_o heaven_n preach_v another_o gospel_n unto_o you_o let_v he_o be_v accurse_v gal._n 1._o 8._o nay_o i_o may_v add_v that_o since_o our_o work_n and_o duty_n be_v to_o search_v the_o scripture_n it_o be_v for_o our_o advantage_n that_o our_o leader_n who_o go_v before_o we_o therein_o be_v person_n of_o the_o same_o gift_n and_o subject_a to_o the_o same_o infirmity_n with_o ourselves_o because_o hereby_o that_o wherein_o they_o excel_v will_v be_v a_o provocation_n and_o encouragement_n to_o we_o to_o we_o be_v mislead_v and_o have_v the_o lord_n continue_v person_n of_o such_o infallible_a gift_n it_o have_v be_v a_o mean_n to_o take_v we_o off_o from_o that_o laborious_a and_o diligent_a search_n and_o study_v of_o the_o scripture_n which_o now_o we_o be_v necessitate_v to_o as_o be_v show_v at_o large_a in_o open_v the_o point_n quest_n if_o the_o question_n be_v how_o such_o person_n than_o can_v speak_v unto_o the_o people_n as_o ambassador_n from_o god_n and_o in_o his_o name_n so_o as_o the_o people_n may_v receive_v it_o in_o his_o authority_n and_o may_v be_v assure_v that_o what_o they_o receive_v be_v indeed_o the_o word_n and_o truth_n of_o god_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v answ_n that_o it_o be_v true_a indeed_o if_o when_o we_o receive_v the_o truth_n as_o speak_v to_o we_o in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n it_o be_v to_o be_v suppose_v that_o we_o receive_v it_o only_o upon_o trust_n from_o those_o who_o be_v our_o teacher_n it_o must_v then_o be_v grant_v that_o none_o can_v speak_v to_o we_o in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n but_o only_o such_o as_o have_v a_o infallible_a gift_n and_o of_o who_o we_o can_v be_v certain_a of_o their_o faithfulness_n therein_o but_o that_o be_v not_o our_o work_n to_o build_v our_o faith_n only_o upon_o the_o credit_n of_o our_o teacher_n although_o that_o be_v not_o to_o be_v deny_v its_o due_a respect_n but_o what_o ever_o certainty_n we_o have_v of_o their_o faithfulness_n and_o ability_n our_o faith_n have_v a_o further_a ground_n to_o fix_v upon_o namely_o first_o upon_o the_o selfe-evidencing_a property_n which_o be_v in_o light_n and_o truth_n for_o which_o cause_n it_o be_v that_o the_o apostle_n himself_o say_v 1_o cor._n 10._o 15._o i_o speak_v as_o to_o wise_a man_n judge_v what_o i_o say_v and_o gal._n 1._o 8_o 9_o if_o we_o or_o a_o angel_n from_o heaven_n preach_v any_o other_o gospel_n unto_o you_o then_o that_o you_o have_v receive_v let_v he_o be_v accurse_v therefore_o also_o 2_o cor._n 4._o creature_n to_o have_v invent_v be_v discern_v and_o acknowledge_v by_o true_a believer_n to_o be_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n and_o in_o some_o sort_n not_o unlike_a as_o light_n be_v know_v to_o be_v light_n by_o he_o that_o see_v it_o therefore_o i_o say_v that_o be_v one_o thing_n upon_o which_o our_o faith_n in_o believe_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n depend_v beyond_o the_o credit_n of_o our_o teacher_n how_o great_a soever_o it_o be_v and_o yet_o this_o be_v not_o enough_o because_o such_o be_v man_n impotency_n and_o corruption_n be_v leave_v unto_o himself_o as_o his_o light_n be_v his_o darkness_n so_o as_o by_o how_o much_o the_o strong_a his_o reason_n be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o he_o be_v infatuate_v and_o delude_v see_v he_o see_v not_o and_o hear_v he_o do_v not_o understand_v
