strengthen_v it_o to_o resist_v this_o temptation_n for_o without_o question_n as_o the_o devil_n have_v a_o design_n upon_o many_o a_o soul_n to_o run_v it_o upon_o a_o rack_n of_o presumption_n have_v such_o a_o wretch_n as_o i_o to_o do_v with_o these_o filthy_a unclean_a hand_n of_o i_o to_o lay_v hold_n upon_o a_o clean_a christ_n the_o sense_n of_o sin_n strike_v a_o deep_a impression_n assault_v you_o in_o the_o morning_n of_o your_o conversion_n unto_o god_n have_v not_o you_o find_v that_o those_o doubt_n which_o you_o have_v since_o meet_v with_o be_v few_o and_o weak_a than_o those_o of_o the_o first_o sort_n do_v not_o satan_n begin_v to_o draw_v his_o bow_n as_o if_o he_o want_v strength_n and_o his_o arm_n be_v now_o grow_v feeble_a and_o he_o begin_v to_o quit_v the_o field_n have_v he_o not_o do_v his_o worst_a think_v you_o have_v not_o you_o find_v that_o the_o cloud_n that_o have_v past_o be_v vanish_v do_v you_o find_v your_o conquer_a enemy_n revive_v or_o be_v they_o not_o rather_o slay_v before_o you_o their_o not_o return_v as_o it_o proceed_v from_o satan_n policy_n that_o will_v not_o rally_v his_o beat_a force_n again_o for_o fear_n of_o a_o second_o rout_n so_o it_o also_o proceed_v from_o the_o increase_n of_o knowledge_n and_o grace_n in_o your_o soul_n these_o be_v note_n that_o may_v assure_v you_o your_o doubt_n be_v not_o the_o doubt_n of_o carnal_a despair_a wretch_n their_o doubt_n return_v still_o they_o be_v at_o the_o same_o stumble_v god_n will_v not_o save_v we_o he_o can_v save_v we_o let_v we_o do_v what_o we_o will_v yet_o say_v they_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n but_o i_o hasten_v to_o a_o conclusion_n five_o and_o last_o therefore_o you_o may_v difference_n your_o doubt_n from_o the_o doubt_n of_o unbelieve_a wretch_n by_o the_o effect_n let_v we_o see_v a_o little_a what_o the_o effect_n of_o doubt_n be_v both_o in_o unbelieving_a wretch_n and_o also_o in_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n quest_n what_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o those_o doubt_n which_o be_v in_o unbelieve_a wretch_n answ_n a_o go_v away_o from_o god_n they_o say_v it_o be_v in_o vain_a to_o serve_v lord_n in_o vain_a to_o pray_v more_o or_o hear_v more_o in_o vain_a to_o wait_v upon_o god_n this_o evil_a be_v of_o the_o lord_n say_v that_o wretch_n why_o shall_v i_o wait_v for_o he_o any_o long_o so_o these_o say_v our_o damnation_n be_v of_o the_o lord_n why_o shall_v we_o pray_v to_o he_o any_o long_o why_o shall_v we_o mourn_v any_o more_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n no_o come_v let_v we_o eat_v and_o drink_v for_o to_o morrow_n we_o shall_v die_v mark_v this_o in_o that_o 18_o of_o jer._n 11._o 12._o and_o they_o say_v there_o be_v no_o hope_n what_o then_o we_o will_v walk_v after_o our_o own_o devise_n and_o we_o will_v every_o one_o do_v the_o imagination_n of_o his_o own_o heart_n here_o be_v the_o effect_n that_o the_o doubt_v of_o unbeliever_n work_v in_o their_o heart_n a_o wilful_a desperate_a depart_n from_o god_n and_o resolve_v to_o walk_v contrary_a unto_o he_o but_o now_o on_o the_o other_o side_n quest._n what_o effect_n do_v doubt_v work_n in_o the_o the_o heart_n of_o believer_n ans_fw-fr i_o conceive_v that_o the_o doubt_n of_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n produce_v these_o four_o or_o five_o contrary_a effect_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o they_o that_o fear_v god_n first_o a_o complain_n unto_o god_n the_o believer_n run_v to_o god_n and_o say_v ah_o lord_n i_o know_v not_o what_o to_o do_v but_o my_o eye_n be_v towards_o thou_o ah_o lord_n i_o know_v not_o what_o to_o answer_v lord_n do_v thou_o answer_v for_o i_o i_o have_v a_o base_a heart_n cloudy_a lord_n clear_v it_o yea_o and_o he_o complain_v of_o himself_o he_o say_v with_o job_n job_n 10._o v._o 1._o i_o will_v leave_v my_o complaint_n upon_o myself_o the_o unbelieving_a wretch_n he_o complain_v indeed_o but_o he_o leave_v his_o complaint_n upon_o god_n a_o second_o effect_n that_o the_o believer_n his_o word_n though_o i_o be_v full_a of_o fear_n i_o will_v not_o start_v from_o his_o precept_n though_o thou_o kill_v i_o yet_o i_o will_v trust_v in_o thou_o the_o wicked_a do_v contrary_a as_o
