say_v it_o be_v by_o the_o operation_n or_o secret_a motion_n of_o some_o planet_n as_o some_o heathenish_o conceive_v if_o so_o yet_o it_o be_v in_o some_o sort_n natural_a the_o effect_n we_o speak_v of_o be_v the_o baptism_n of_o repentance_n &_o the_o purification_n of_o faith_n call_v in_o scripture_n the_o baptism_n or_o birth_n of_o water_n and_o of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o be_v the_o part_n of_o our_o regeneration_n now_o can_v any_o gift_n or_o quality_n of_o nature_n or_o operation_n of_o planet_n produce_v or_o cause_v such_o effect_n as_o these_o nay_o doubtless_o for_o cause_n be_v always_o great_a than_o effect_n and_o great_a thing_n than_o these_o be_v not_o to_o be_v find_v in_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n or_o planet_n but_o in_o god_n who_o by_o the_o special_a power_n and_o virtue_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n do_v cause_n these_o great_a effect_n 5._o do_v work_n and_o produce_v this_o new_a and_o heavenly_a birth_n 18._o and_o therefore_o the_o person_n thus_o qualify_v be_v say_v in_o scripture_n to_o be_v bear_v of_o god_n 1._o joh._n 3._o 9_o if_o thou_o say_v that_o god_n put_v this_o difference_n in_o the_o will_n of_o man_n by_o creation_n faith_n be_v both_o in_o the_o account_n of_o the_o church_n and_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n regenerate_v person_n and_o that_o the_o baptism_n of_o child_n use_v be_v no_o baptism_n at_o all_o but_o be_v the_o mark_n of_o the_o beast_n speak_v of_o in_o revelat._n 13._o answ_n the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n be_v that_o not_o only_o such_o man_n and_o woman_n of_o year_n as_o have_v true_a repentance_n and_o justify_v faith_n but_o that_o all_o which_o do_v believe_v jesus_n to_o be_v the_o christ_n and_o acknowledge_v he_o submit_v themselves_o to_o be_v inform_v bruise_a and_o heavy_a lade_v sick_a lose_v dead_a etc._n etc._n and_o other_o be_v they_o that_o have_v neither_o repentance_n nor_o faith_n as_o the_o multitude_n of_o the_o jew_n and_o of_o the_o whole_a world_n and_o to_o these_o several_a sort_n of_o people_n the_o gospel_n be_v preach_v in_o several_a manner_n 1._o to_o the_o first_o sort_n that_o christ_n be_v now_o come_v even_o the_o messenger_n of_o the_o covenant_n who_o they_o desire_v in_o their_o heart_n to_o see_v and_o hear_v as_o one_o that_o do_v spiritual_o dwell_v in_o their_o heart_n already_o these_o believe_v be_v former_o and_o so_o have_v right_a to_o enter_v into_o the_o congregation_n where_o the_o way_n of_o life_n be_v teach_v as_o they_o then_o by_o circumcision_n so_o these_o now_o by_o baptism_n that_o they_o may_v be_v inform_v in_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n else_o will_v there_o be_v no_o difference_n between_o the_o child_n of_o the_o faithful_a and_o the_o child_n of_o infidel_n so_o that_o to_o this_o end_n be_v the_o unbelieve_a husband_n say_v to_o be_v sanctify_v to_o the_o believe_a wife_n and_o believe_v wife_n to_o the_o unbelieve_a husband_n because_o otherwise_o if_o the_o after_o the_o old_a form_n of_o the_o law_n then_o may_v they_o now_o after_o the_o new_a form_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o they_o may_v once_o after_o the_o old_a form_n of_o the_o law_n therefore_o also_o now_o after_o the_o new_a form_n of_o the_o gospel_n that_o they_o may_v once_o after_o the_o old_a form_n be_v past_o all_o question_n and_o that_o they_o may_v now_o after_o the_o new_a form_n we_o prove_v thus_o that_o which_o be_v once_o for_o good_a end_n in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o law_n appoint_v and_o be_v not_o by_o the_o gospel_n disannul_v it_o be_v lawful_a still_o but_o it_o be_v appoint_v for_o good_a end_n that_o child_n shall_v receive_v the_o sign_n of_o the_o circumcision_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o it_o be_v not_o by_o the_o gospel_n any_o way_n disannul_v therefore_o it_o be_v lawful_a now_o still_o but_o these_o man_n object_n and_o say_v that_o there_o be_v no_o plain_a commandment_n nor_o example_n in_o the_o new_a testament_n
