receive_v grace_n offer_v or_o to_o refuse_v it_o and_o so_o by_o this_o reason_n not_o god_n but_o man_n shall_v separate_v himself_o 8._o according_a to_o this_o doctrine_n man_n shall_v be_v the_o principal_a agent_n in_o the_o work_n of_o conversion_n and_o bear_v a_o better_a part_n therein_o then_o god_n and_o his_o grace_n for_o act_n be_v more_o excellent_a than_o power_n and_o it_o be_v and_o believe_v when_o god_n call_v he_o to_o it_o how_o then_o can_v he_o just_o be_v subject_a to_o blame_v and_o punishment_n for_o not_o do_v these_o thing_n answ_n 1._o because_o once_o he_o have_v power_n but_o willing_o lose_v it_o through_o his_o own_o fault_n for_o unbelief_n be_v a_o fruit_n of_o the_o flesh_n of_o that_o corruption_n which_o we_o contract_v by_o adam_n fall_n if_o a_o man_n willing_o put_v out_o his_o own_o eye_n he_o by_o deprive_v himself_o of_o the_o faculty_n of_o sight_n be_v disable_v not_o only_o from_o see_v those_o thing_n which_o he_o see_v before_o but_o also_o from_o see_v all_o those_o thing_n which_o he_o may_v have_v see_v after_o have_v they_o be_v show_v to_o he_o 2._o in_o infidelity_n there_o be_v a_o twofold_a act_n a_o negative_a whereby_o he_o forbear_v do_v of_o that_o which_o god_n call_v he_o to_o do_v and_o a_o positive_a whereby_o he_o do_v something_o that_o be_v contrary_a if_o it_o be_v grant_v that_o man_n be_v not_o to_o be_v blame_v or_o condemn_v for_o the_o negative_a act_n the_o mere_a non_fw-fr credens_fw-fr the_o not_o lay_v hold_n of_o christ_n and_o rest_v on_o he_o for_o salvation_n yet_o he_o may_v be_v just_o condemn_v for_o the_o positive_a for_o reject_v grace_n offer_v for_o resist_a god_n call_v to_o carry_v christ_n yoke_n for_o hate_v the_o light_n as_o it_o be_v the_o property_n of_o all_o the_o child_n of_o darkness_n to_o do_v there_o be_v no_o disobedience_n to_o the_o gospel_n but_o also_o be_v accompany_v with_o disobedience_n to_o the_o law_n in_o some_o branch_n or_o other_o which_o all_o grant_n man_n have_v power_n to_o have_v keep_v and_o for_o this_o he_o may_v be_v condemn_v object_n 7_o if_o man_n be_v whole_o dead_a in_o sin_n and_o it_o be_v not_o in_o the_o power_n of_o his_o will_n to_o receive_v or_o reject_v whatever_o grace_n be_v offer_v then_o in_o his_o conversion_n god_n work_v upon_o he_o like_o as_o on_o a_o stock_n or_o stone_n whereas_o man_n
