we_o fancy_v he_o shall_v many_o time_n please_v we_o to_o our_o ruin_n and_o do_v we_o believe_v that_o when_o he_o have_v win_v a_o person_n to_o place_v his_o delight_n and_o take_v pleasure_n in_o thing_n that_o make_v for_o the_o support_n and_o comfort_n of_o this_o present_a life_n we_o will_v suppose_v it_o to_o be_v the_o one_o or_o the_o other_o of_o these_o and_o shall_v show_v that_o whichsoever_o sort_n it_o be_v that_o be_v desire_v delight_v in_o god_n do_v natural_o infer_v the_o satisfaction_n some_o way_n or_o other_o of_o such_o desire_n 1._o suppose_v they_o be_v spiritual_a good_a thing_n that_o be_v desire_v delight_n in_o god_n be_v most_o direct_o the_o satisfaction_n itself_o of_o such_o desire_n whatsoever_o pure_o spiritual_a good_a we_o can_v desire_v be_v either_o god_n himself_o or_o somewhat_o in_o order_n to_o he_o if_o it_o be_v god_n himself_o we_o desire_v so_o far_o as_o we_o delight_v in_o he_o we_o enjoy_v he_o and_o have_v what_o we_o will_v have_v and_o can_v only_o enjoy_v he_o more_o full_o by_o more_o entire_a and_o compose_a rest_n and_o delight_n in_o he_o if_o it_o be_v somewhat_o in_o order_n to_o he_o he_o be_v still_o supreme_o and_o ultimate_o desire_v in_o that_o very_a desire_n so_o that_o in_o delight_v in_o he_o we_o have_v our_o end_n and_o that_o upon_o which_o this_o desire_n do_v last_o terminate_v and_o now_o shall_v not_o this_o be_v a_o great_a inducement_n to_o we_o to_o delight_v in_o god_n that_o hereby_o our_o desire_n the_o motion_n of_o our_o work_a heart_n direct_v towards_o he_o do_v immediate_o find_v in_o he_o a_o peaceful_a and_o pleasant_a rest_n and_o turn_v into_o a_o satisfy_a fruition_n 2._o suppose_v the_o thing_n we_o desire_v be_v those_o of_o a_o inferior_a kind_n or_o how_o unsuitable_a soever_o to_o we_o but_o first_o it_o moderate_v these_o desire_n make_v they_o sober_a prudent_a and_o rational_a and_o capable_a of_o be_v satisfy_v with_o what_o be_v fit_a for_o we_o he_o that_o be_v much_o habituate_v to_o delight_n in_o god_n be_v not_o apt_a to_o foolish_a extravagant_a desire_n this_o be_v the_o sense_n of_o such_o a_o one_o not_o my_o will_n lord_n but_o thou_o be_v do_v he_o may_v desire_v the_o same_o thing_n that_o other_o do_v yet_o not_o with_o the_o same_o peremptory_a and_o precipitant_a desire_n but_o with_o a_o desire_n temper_v with_o submission_n and_o with_o a_o reserve_a deference_n of_o the_o matter_n to_o the_o divine_a pleasure_n this_o thing_n lord_n i_o desire_v if_o thou_o see_v good_a so_o that_o the_o general_a object_n of_o such_o a_o one_o desire_n be_v only_o that_o which_o in_o the_o divine_a estimate_n be_v fit_a and_o good_a for_o he_o and_o though_o he_o desire_v this_o or_o that_o particular_a thing_n yet_o not_o as_o it_o be_v this_o thing_n but_o as_o suppose_v it_o possible_a this_o thing_n may_v be_v judge_v fit_a for_o he_o by_o the_o supreme_a wisdom_n whereto_o he_o have_v refer_v the_o matter_n but_o if_o it_o shall_v be_v judge_v otherwise_o this_o thing_n fall_v without_o the_o compass_n of_o the_o general_a object_n of_o his_o desire_n and_o in_o just_a construction_n he_o desire_v it_o
