obtain_v pardon_n at_o last_o they_o shall_v be_v well_o enough_o if_o they_o turn_v to_o god_n and_o they_o be_v tell_v they_o can_v do_v it_o when_o they_o please_v it_o be_v but_o take_v up_o a_o their_o youth_n for_o which_o they_o may_v so_o severe_o smart_a by_o wound_n and_o terror_n of_o conscience_n by_o doubt_n and_o horror_n and_o fear_n by_o disease_n and_o other_o kind_n of_o punishment_n there_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o difference_n betwixt_o be_v save_v smooth_o and_o a_o be_v save_v but_o through_o fire_n o_o let_v i_o plead_v with_o you_o who_o have_v little_a else_o to_o say_v for_o the_o care_n and_o pain_n of_o your_o youth_n but_o that_o by_o it_o you_o be_v but_o provide_v quiet_a and_o rest_n for_o yourselves_o when_o you_o come_v to_o be_v old_a that_o you_o will_v admit_v the_o force_n of_o that_o argument_n also_o to_o persuade_v you_o to_o remember_v your_o creator_n in_o the_o day_n of_o your_o youth_n and_o to_o take_v heed_n of_o the_o sin_n of_o youth_n which_o god_n often_o so_o severe_o punish_v upon_o gray-hair_n yea_o and_o that_o to_o his_o own_o people_n who_o iniquity_n yet_o he_o have_v pardon_v so_o as_o they_o shall_v not_o eternal_o condemn_v he_o use_v 3._o but_o that_o i_o may_v shut_v up_o this_o discourse_n what_o you_o have_v hear_v upon_o this_o observation_n may_v offer_v the_o best_a of_o we_o some_o have_v the_o gospel_n preach_v to_o they_o though_o it_o be_v true_a that_o also_o be_v in_o very_o different_a degree_n yet_o all_o have_v something_o of_o what_o they_o call_v a_o moral_a season_n and_o be_v persuade_v and_o entreat_v to_o turn_v unto_o god_n this_o we_o say_v be_v not_o a_o sufficient_a mean_n to_o bring_v a_o soul_n unto_o heaven_n if_o god_n do_v not_o more_o for_o soul_n than_o let_v they_o have_v the_o benefit_n of_o the_o work_n of_o creation_n show_v they_o his_o glory_n and_o the_o benefit_n of_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n and_o reason_n and_o the_o work_n of_o his_o common_a providence_n yea_o and_o of_o the_o scripture_n and_o the_o preach_n of_o they_o and_o that_o not_o only_o in_o a_o cold_a flat_a and_o dead_a and_o dull_a manner_n but_o in_o the_o most_o lively_a powerful_a manner_n they_o will_v never_o repent_v never_o believe_v and_o turn_v unto_o god_n paul_n may_v plant_v and_o apollo_n may_v water_v long_o enough_o if_o god_n do_v not_o give_v the_o increase_n it_o be_v not_o in_o he_o that_o preach_v and_o persuade_v nor_o in_o he_o that_o pray_v and_o hear_v but_o in_o god_n that_o show_v mercy_n he_o must_v give_v both_o to_o
