in_o this_o case_n betwixt_o god_n and_o sinful_a man_n the_o truth_n of_o this_o will_v more_o plain_o appear_v if_o we_o look_v into_o the_o particular_n there_o be_v two_o way_n especial_o whereby_o god_n may_v be_v say_v to_o administer_v occasion_n of_o sin_v and_o so_o to_o have_v some_o kind_n of_o hand_n in_o it_o namely_o by_o his_o word_n and_o by_o his_o work_n 1._o for_o the_o word_n of_o god_n wicked_a man_n may_v sometime_o take_v occasion_n from_o that_o to_o become_v more_o sinful_a the_o apostle_n show_v express_o that_o the_o law_n of_o god_n have_v a_o efficacy_n in_o irritate_v and_o stir_v the_o corruption_n of_o man_n nature_n for_o he_o say_v that_o sin_n take_v occasion_n by_o the_o command_n and_o wrought_v in_o he_o all_o manner_n of_o concupiscence_n and_o sin_n take_v occasion_n by_o the_o command_n deceive_v he_o rom._n 7.11_o and_o that_o when_o we_o be_v in_o the_o flesh_n the_o motion_n of_o sin_n which_o be_v by_o the_o law_n do_v work_v in_o our_o member_n ver._n 5._o that_o the_o law_n have_v a_o efficacy_n in_o stir_v up_o sinful_a motion_n and_o in_o work_v in_o we_o all_o manner_n of_o concupiscence_n be_v plain_a by_o these_o that_o it_o arise_v from_o the_o contrariety_n that_o be_v betwixt_o god_n holy_a law_n and_o man_n corrupt_a heart_n it_o be_v a_o true_a rule_n that_o contraria_fw-la juxta_fw-la se_fw-la posita_fw-la mogis_fw-la elucescunt_fw-la when_o contrary_n be_v put_v together_o their_o contrariety_n do_v more_o appear_v when_o fire_n and_o water_n be_v keep_v at_o a_o distance_n the_o contrariety_n of_o their_o nature_n do_v not_o much_o appear_v but_o put_v they_o together_o and_o then_o they_o fight_v one_o with_o another_o till_o the_o strong_a have_v overcome_v the_o weak_a that_o the_o law_n work_v wrath_n rom._n 4.15_o it_o work_v wrath_n no_o otherwise_o than_o it_o work_v sin_n namely_o by_o accident_n for_o it_o be_v the_o end_n and_o scope_n of_o the_o law_n to_o the_o gospel_n may_v be_v a_o occasion_n of_o increase_a man_n sin_n for_o christ_n tell_v the_o jew_n that_o if_o they_o have_v be_v blind_a they_o have_v have_v no_o sin_n but_o because_o they_o say_v they_o do_v see_v therefore_o their_o sin_n remain_v john_n 9.41_o and_o this_o be_v the_o condemnation_n of_o the_o world_n that_o light_n be_v come_v into_o the_o world_n and_o man_n love_v
