their_o own_o destruction_n draw_v not_o say_v saint_n paul_n in_o one_o yoke_n with_o the_o unfaithful_a 14_o whereby_o sure_o he_o mean_v join_v with_o they_o in_o all_o those_o way_n by_o which_o we_o may_v be_v bring_v into_o their_o familiarity_n 11_o they_o that_o mean_v faithful_o to_o serve_v god_n must_v always_o have_v *_o separation_n between_o they_o and_o the_o wicked_a therefore_o god_n will_v be_v that_o we_o shall_v not_o only_o with_o open_a consent_n not_o join_v with_o they_o but_o because_o of_o our_o own_o frailty_n that_o will_v be_v soon_o mysledde_v to_o beware_v of_o all_o their_o allurement_n but_o because_o if_o we_o will_v have_v no_o society_n with_o the_o wicked_a 10._o we_o muste*_n leave_v this_o life_n we_o must_v make_v some_o difference_n between_o friendship_n and_o *_o join_v in_o defence_n one_o of_o the_o other_o 2_o or_o in_o marriage_n or_o such_o like_a sure_o we_o open_v a_o wide_a gap_n to_o the_o devil_n to_o tempt_v we_o and_o to_o draw_v we_o by_o little_a and_o little_a to_o corruption_n of_o faith_n and_o re_n igion_n or_o at_o the_o least_o wise_n to_o stop_v our_o mouth_n and_o stay_v our_o endeavour_n from_o the_o defence_n and_o furtherance_n of_o god_n true_a worship_n against_o superstition_n and_o idolatry_n when_o moses_n not_o only_o forbid_v join_v in_o familiarity_n with_o the_o wicked_a but_o also_o will_v they_o to_o smite_v and_o utter_o destroy_v they_o nor_o to_o have_v any_o compassion_n on_o they_o it_o may_v not_o seem_v cruel_a or_o unjust_a they_o have_v for_o their_o warrant_n the_o commandment_n of_o god_o who_o beside_o that_o he_o be_v lord_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n and_o have_v promise_v the_o country_n where_o the_o chananiâ—es_n dwell_v unto_o his_o people_n to_o such_o as_o by_o god_n law_n be_v count_v unclean_a and_o need_v purification_n by_o the_o order_n of_o the_o law_n but_o of_o sacrifice_n none_o such_o may_v eat_v before_o they_o be_v purge_v but_o as_o god_n permit_v they_o to_o eat_v flesh_n so_o he_o forbid_v they_o to_o eat_v the_o blood_n the_o which_o he_o do_v levit._n 10._o 17._o far_o more_o earnest_o the_o like_a *_o inhibition_n he_o evident_a the_o law_n tend_v to_o some_o other_o end_n that_o be_v that_o they_o may_v esteem_v the_o life_n of_o all_o thing_n and_o especial_o of_o man_n to_o be_v precious_a and_o therefore_o say_v he_o the_o blood_n be_v the_o life_n but_o thy_o holy_a thing_n which_o thou_o have_v 27._o and_o thy_o vow_n thou_o shall_v take_v etc_n etc_n this_o make_v the_o former_a precept_n more_o plain_a and_o show_v evident_o that_o the_o cause_n which_o god_n will_v have_v no_o more_o place_n of_o worship_n than_o one_o be_v that_o the_o diversity_n of_o place_n and_o altar_n may_v not_o among_o that_o wayward_a people_n cause_n so_o many_o several_a god_n as_o they_o have_v several_a place_n of_o worship_n therefore_o be_v they_o will_v here_o to_o bring_v all_o holy_a thing_n that_o be_v for_o this_o be_v light_o the_o begin_n of_o all_o idolatry_n 12._o when_o man_n understand_v the_o simplicity_n of_o god_n true_a worship_n curious_o inquire_v of_o man_n device_n whether_o there_o be_v any_o thing_n in_o they_o worthy_a observation_n which_o they_o may_v add_v as_o they_o think_v to_o beautify_v the_o simplicity_n of_o god_n commandment_n and_o so_o by_o little_a and_o little_a fall_n either_o to_o flat_a idolatry_n or_o to_o very_o gross_a superstition_n wherefore_o god_n bridle_v here_o this_o looseness_n of_o his_o people_n and_o say_v they_o may_v not_o do_v so_o to_o their_o lord_n god_n for_o he_o do_v not_o only_o mislike_v those_o false_a worship_n but_o do_v hate_n they_o loath_a they_o &_o account_v they_o abominable_a and_o especial_o that_o horrible_a use_n of_o burn_v their_o son_n and_o daughter_n unto_o devil_n therefore_o to_o knit_v up_o this_o instruction_n god_n command_v they_o that_o they_o shall_v cleave_v fast_a unto_o his_o word_n and_o not_o in_o any_o point_n to_o alter_v it_o either_o by_o add_v any_o thing_n thereto_o or_o by_o take_v any_o thing_n therefrom_o as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v that_o all_o study_n and_o endeavour_n of_o man_n to_o worship_n he_o 2._o not_o proceed_v out_o of_o this*_n root_n of_o his_o holy_a word_n and_o law_n seem_v they_o never_o so_o godly_a be_v superstitious_a wicked_a and_o abominable_a in_o his_o sight_n and_o therefore_o they_o may_v seem_v to_o break_v the_o first_o commandment_n and_o to_o frame_v unto_o themselves_o strange_a god_n which_o worship_n god_n in_o any_o other_o manner_n
