upon_o you_o repentance_n do_v not_o conceive_v that_o we_o will_v have_v it_o preparatory_a to_o faith_n that_o you_o shall_v sit_v down_o and_o mourn_v for_o your_o sin_n for_o a_o time_n till_o your_o heart_n be_v so_o far_o humble_v and_o then_o you_o may_v come_v as_o prepare_v and_o fit_v to_o jesus_n christ_n this_o be_v the_o mistake_n of_o many_o christian_n which_o keep_v they_o from_o solid_a settle_n we_o find_v it_o ordinary_a soul_n make_v scruple_n and_o objection_n against_o come_v to_o jesus_n christ_n because_o of_o want_n of_o such_o preparation_n of_o measure_n of_o humiliation_n and_o contrition_n which_o they_o prescribe_v to_o themselves_o or_o do_v behold_v in_o other_o and_o so_o they_o sit_v down_o and_o apply_v themselves_o to_o such_o a_o work_n apply_v their_o conscience_n to_o the_o law_n and_o curse_n and_o they_o find_v in_o stead_n of_o soften_a hardness_n in_o stead_n of_o contrition_n of_o spirit_n more_o dulness_n and_o security_n at_o least_o they_o can_v get_v satisfaction_n to_o themselves_o in_o that_o they_o seek_v and_o thus_o they_o hang_v their_o head_n over_o their_o impenitent_a heart_n and_o lament_v not_o so_o much_o that_o repentance_n be_v not_o as_o that_o they_o can_v find_v it_o in_o themselves_o alas_o there_o be_v many_o disease_n in_o this_o one_o malady_n if_o it_o be_v embowel_v unto_o you_o you_o will_v
