one_o give_v i_o a_o example_n that_o ever_o any_o one_o that_o live_v under_o a_o powerful_a ministry_n and_o not_o saving_o wrought_v upon_o that_o way_n be_v ever_o wrought_v upon_o any_o other_o way_n many_o he_o say_v may_v be_v stir_v but_o for_o his_o part_n he_o know_v none_o that_o be_v so_o stir_v by_o affliction_n to_o the_o conversion_n of_o their_o soul_n if_o god_n have_v not_o before_o in_o the_o ordinance_n of_o grace_n wrought_v upon_o they_o than_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v the_o worst_a time_n that_o can_v be_v to_o seek_v pardon_n of_o sin_n in_o a_o day_n of_o of_o it_o to_o himself_o as_o it_o be_v the_o excellent_a work_n that_o ever_o a_o creature_n do_v perform_v so_o it_o do_v require_v the_o most_o exquisite_a work_n of_o the_o spirit_n that_o ever_o be_v require_v or_o that_o ever_o any_o creature_n be_v set_v about_o it_o be_v the_o most_o intensive_a work_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n the_o applying_z of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n and_o the_o close_n with_o it_o for_o justification_n it_o be_v the_o high_a most_o exquisite_a most_o glorious_a and_o most_o admirable_a work_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n that_o ever_o be_v in_o the_o world_n and_o it_o require_v the_o great_a intenseness_n and_o strength_n of_o a_o man_n spirit_n that_o ever_o any_o work_n do_v now_o then_o to_o put_v this_o off_o till_o such_o a_o time_n as_o a_o man_n strength_n be_v go_v and_o he_o through_o disease_n unfit_a for_o any_o thing_n and_o when_o as_o all_o the_o strength_n he_o have_v will_v be_v little_a enough_o to_o help_v he_o to_o bear_v his_o pain_n this_o must_v needs_o be_v the_o worst_a time_n you_o be_v mistake_v if_o you_o think_v the_o apply_v of_o god_n mercy_n in_o christ_n be_v but_o in_o say_v lord_n have_v mercy_n upon_o i_o no_o it_o be_v god_n put_v the_o heart_n of_o man_n to_o do_v the_o most_o glorious_a work_n that_o have_v the_o great_a operation_n in_o it_o that_o ever_o he_o do_v i_o remember_v it_o relate_v of_o one_o that_o live_v wicked_o and_o divers_a seek_v to_o reclaim_v he_o say_v he_o come_v when_o i_o be_o upon_o my_o sick_a bed_n that_o be_v time_n enough_o and_o afterward_o he_o be_v sick_a be_v put_v in_o mind_n of_o it_o you_o say_v you_o will_v do_v it_o then_o but_o then_o he_o swear_v a_o great_a oath_n say_v what_o be_v this_o a_o time_n to_o repent_v in_o because_o the_o worst_a time_n because_o god_n shall_v lose_v a_o great_a part_n of_o his_o end_n in_o pardon_v sin_n for_o when_o god_n pardon_v sin_n it_o be_v to_o this_o end_n that_o his_o poor_a creature_n may_v honour_v and_o worship_v he_o in_o â—his_fw-la world_n and_o do_v he_o service_n but_o now_o to_o seek_v for_o god_n pardon_v grace_n when_o thou_o can_v do_v he_o no_o more_o service_n in_o this_o world_n how_o can_v thou_o think_v that_o he_o will_v accept_v thou_o then_o he_o come_v to_o redeem_v we_o that_o we_o may_v serve_v he_o in_o holiness_n and_o righteousness_n all_o the_o day_n of_o our_o life_n and_o he_o know_v there_o be_v no_o such_o way_n to_o engage_v the_o heart_n of_o man_n to_o serve_v he_o as_o pardon_v grace_n for_o when_o once_o a_o soul_n see_v itself_o deliver_v from_o those_o enemy_n of_o sin_n and_o of_o the_o law_n that_o will_v destroy_v he_o his_o heart_n will_v be_v mighty_o set_v to_o honour_n god_n and_o serve_v he_o in_o holiness_n and_o righteousness_n all_o his_o day_n and_o therefore_o to_o seek_v for_o pardon_v when_o thou_o can_v do_v god_n no_o more_o service_n in_o this_o world_n must_v needs_o be_v the_o worst_a time_n for_o how_o know_v thou_o that_o he_o will_v accept_v thou_o then_o i_o beseech_v you_o observe_v one_o text_n of_o scripture_n that_o be_v abuse_v by_o many_o people_n for_o i_o suppose_v that_o i_o be_o speak_v to_o a_o great_a many_o very_a ignorant_a in_o the_o way_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o i_o desire_v to_o speak_v plain_o unto_o you_o there_o be_v one_o place_n though_o misapprehend_v and_o mistake_v that_o be_v the_o main_a prop_n of_o many_o carnal_a heart_n as_o it_o be_v read_v in_o some_o book_n at_o what_o time_n soever_o a_o sinner_n repent_v etc._n etc._n i_o know_v no_o such_o text_n of_o scripture_n it_o be_v true_a there_o be_v scripture_n tend_v that_o way_n that_o do_v not_o limit_v the_o time_n but_o no_o scripture_n do_v express_v it_o so_o many_o people_n run_v away_o with_o that_o
saul_n be_v guilty_a of_o other_o sin_n yet_o if_o you_o observe_v the_o story_n you_o shall_v find_v that_o these_o be_v the_o two_o sin_n for_o which_o god_n put_v the_o cast_v away_o of_o saul_n upon_o and_o yet_o david_n commit_v murder_n and_o adultery_n and_o be_v not_o cast_v off_o why_o why_o if_o god_n will_v show_v his_o prerogative_n what_o have_v the_o creature_n to_o reason_n with_o he_o for_o it_o if_o he_o will_v damn_v saul_n for_o his_o sin_n that_o be_v less_o and_o pardon_v david_n that_o be_v great_a what_o have_v thou_o to_o do_v with_o that_o his_o mercy_n be_v his_o own_o thou_o think_v it_o may_v be_v because_o thou_o can_v put_v a_o man_n off_o with_o this_o reason_n my_o sin_n be_v small_a and_o therefore_o i_o may_v be_v forgive_v they_o because_o they_o be_v it_o his_o conversion_n be_v but_o late_o 2_o king_n 21.1_o he_o be_v 12._o year_n old_a when_o he_o begin_v to_o reign_v and_o he_o reign_v 55._o year_n in_o jerusalem_n and_o almost_o all_o this_o time_n he_o go_v on_o in_o commit_v most_o notorious_a abomination_n and_o yet_o god_n pardon_v he_o but_o now_o mark_v his_o son_n amon_n come_v after_o he_o and_o perhaps_o he_o may_v reason_v and_o in_o other_o abomination_n and_o perhaps_o live_v in_o outward_a prosperity_n many_o year_n 40_o or_o 50_o year_n yet_o god_n may_v pass_v they_o by_o and_o then_o if_o thou_o sin_v after_o their_o example_n he_o may_v come_v upon_o thou_o for_o the_o first_o or_o second_o act_n cut_v the_o off_o and_o send_v thou_o down_o present_o to_o hell_n and_o therefore_o do_v not_o say_v my_o sin_n be_v but_o few_o and_o therefore_o god_n will_v pass_v they_o by_o that_o be_v no_o argument_n at_o all_o three_o the_o three_o false_a ground_n that_o other_o apprehend_v their_o sin_n be_v the_o file_n in_o heaven_n stand_v there_o upon_o record_n and_o lie_v as_o a_o debt_n against_o you_o all_o though_o they_o be_v commit_v eighty_o year_n ago_o it_o be_v no_o argument_n a_o malefactor_n be_v pardon_v because_o the_o assize_n be_v not_o to_o morrow_n or_o next_o day_n it_o be_v true_a god_n will_v have_v his_o assize_n for_o some_o soon_o but_o for_o you_o he_o have_v
