and_o so_o great_a a_o danger_n which_o a_o man_n do_v never_o know_v before_o must_v needs_o amaze_v and_o affright_v the_o soul_n and_o if_o that_o fear_n remain_v long_o where_o right_a mean_n be_v long_o in_o the_o profession_n of_o holiness_n and_o yet_o lie_v or_o fall_v again_o under_o trouble_n of_o soul_n except_o those_o before_o except_v i_o will_v have_v they_o make_v a_o diligent_a search_n whether_o god_n do_v not_o observe_v either_o some_o fleshly_a interest_n encroach_v upon_o his_o right_n or_o some_o actual_a sin_n to_o be_v cherish_v in_o their_o heart_n or_o conversation_n and_o here_o let_v i_o tell_v you_o when_o you_o be_v make_v this_o search_n what_o particular_n they_o be_v which_o i_o will_v have_v you_o to_o be_v most_o jealous_a of_o 1._o the_o former_a sort_n which_o i_o call_v contrary_a carnal_a interest_n encroach_a on_o christ_n right_a be_v they_o that_o you_o must_v look_v after_o with_o far_o more_o diligence_n than_o your_o actual_a sin_n 1._o because_o they_o be_v the_o far_o great_a and_o most_o dangerous_a of_o all_o sin_n and_o the_o root_n of_o all_o the_o rest_n for_o as_o god_n be_v the_o end_n and_o chief_a good_a of_o direct_o and_o but_o remote_o or_o indirect_o against_o his_o godhead_n and_o they_o have_v but_o that_o act_n of_o our_o will_n which_o we_o call_v election_n consent_n or_o use_v which_o be_v true_o religious_a to_o themselves_o and_o other_o 3._o because_o these_o sin_n be_v the_o most_o common_a for_o though_o they_o reign_v only_o in_o hypocrite_n and_o other_o unsanctified_a one_o sad_a case_n and_o god_n may_v well_o give_v over_o such_o to_o sadness_n of_o heart_n if_o we_o walk_v so_o pleas_o to_o the_o flesh_n god_n will_v walk_v more_o displease_o to_o we_o and_o as_o you_o shall_v be_v jealous_a of_o these_o great_a heart-transgression_n so_o shall_v you_o be_v of_o particular_a actual_a sin_n examine_v whether_o the_o jealous_a eye_n of_o god_n see_v not_o something_o that_o much_o offend_v he_o and_o cause_v your_o heaviness_n i_o will_v not_o enlarge_v so_o far_o as_o to_o mind_v you_o of_o the_o particular_a sin_n that_o you_o shall_v look_v after_o can_v thou_o have_v any_o true_a grace_n who_o have_v such_o sin_n as_o these_o when_o our_o lord_n himself_o deal_v always_o so_o tender_o with_o sinner_n that_o it_o give_v occasion_n to_o the_o slanderous_a pharisees_n to_o say_v he_o be_v a_o friend_n of_o publican_n and_o sinner_n and_o so_o he_o be_v even_o their_o great_a friend_n and_o his_o command_n to_o we_o be_v we_o then_o that_o be_v strong_a aught_o to_o bear_v the_o infirmity_n of_o the_o weak_a and_o not_o to_o please_v ourselves_o let_v every_o one_o of_o we_o please_v his_o neighbour_n for_o his_o good_a to_o other_o every_o word_n be_v speak_v amiss_o and_o every_o thing_n do_v amiss_o to_o they_o what_o wonder_v if_o god_n seem_v hard_a to_o be_v please_v and_o as_o frequent_o offend_v with_o they_o especial_o if_o their_o unpeaceableness_n trouble_v the_o church_n and_o in_o their_o turbulence_n and_o self-conceitedness_n they_o break_v the_o peace_n thereof_o thus_o i_o have_v tell_v you_o this_o further_a advantage_n that_o you_o will_v have_v less_o backwardness_n to_o any_o duty_n and_o less_o weariness_n in_o duty_n you_o will_v find_v more_o delight_n in_o prayer_n meditation_n pray_v read_v meditate_v confer_v of_o good_a too_o much_o for_o one_o duty_n may_v shut_v out_o another_o and_o a_o great_a may_v be_v neglect_v by_o our_o over_n in_o a_o lesser_a which_o be_v the_o pharisee_n sin_n in_o sabbath-resting_a 5._o if_o we_o be_v never_o so_o right_a in_o the_o extension_n of_o our_o act_n yet_o we_o may_v go_v too_o far_o in_o the_o intention_n of_o the_o imperate_a intensly_n and_o love_n and_o desire_v too_o passionate_o for_o there_o be_v a_o degree_n of_o think_v or_o meditate_v and_o of_o passionate_a love_n and_o desire_n which_o the_o brain_n can_v bear_v but_o it_o will_v cause_v madness_n and_o quite_o overthrow_v the_o use_n of_o reason_n by_o overstretch_v the_o organ_n or_o by_o the_o extreme_a turbulence_n of_o the_o agitate_a spirit_n yet_o i_o give_v all_o such_o weak-headed_n melancholy_a person_n this_o warning_n that_o whereas_o in_o my_o book_n of_o rest_n i_o so_o much_o press_v a_o constant_a course_n of_o heavenly_a meditation_n i_o
