be_v say_v for_o the_o sick_a by_o they_o who_o visit_v he_o o_o merciful_a father_n who_o be_v the_o lord_n and_o giver_n of_o life_n and_o to_o who_o belong_v the_o issue_n of_o death_n we_o thy_o child_n here_o assemble_v do_v acknowledge_v that_o in_o respect_n of_o our_o manifold_a sin_n we_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o ask_v any_o blessing_n for_o ourselves_o at_o thy_o hand_n much_o less_o to_o become_v suitor_n to_o thy_o majesty_n in_o the_o behalf_n of_o other_o yet_o because_o thou_o have_v command_v we_o to_o pray_v one_o for_o another_o 5._o especial_o for_o the_o sick_a and_o have_v promise_v that_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o righteous_a shall_v avail_v much_o with_o thou_o in_o the_o obedience_n therefore_o of_o thy_o commandment_n and_o confidence_n of_o thy_o gracious_a promise_n we_o be_v bold_a to_o become_v humble_a suitor_n unto_o thy_o divine_a majesty_n in_o the_o behalf_n of_o this_o our_o dear_a brother_n or_o sister_n who_o thou_o have_v visit_v with_o the_o chastisement_n of_o thy_o own_o fatherly_a hand_n we_o can_v glad_o wish_v the_o restitution_n of_o his_o health_n and_o a_o long_a continuance_n of_o his_o life_n and_o christian_a fellowship_n among_o we_o but_o for_o as_o much_o as_o it_o appear_v as_o far_o as_o we_o can_v discern_v that_o thou_o have_v appoint_v by_o this_o visitation_n to_o call_v for_o he_o out_o of_o this_o mortal_a life_n we_o submit_v our_o will_n to_o thy_o bless_a will_n and_o humble_o entreat_v for_o jesus_n christ_n his_o sake_n and_o the_o merit_n of_o his_o bitter_a death_n and_o passion_n which_o he_o have_v suffer_v for_o he_o that_o thou_o will_v pardon_v and_o forgive_v unto_o he_o all_o his_o sin_n as_o well_o that_o wherein_o he_o be_v conceive_v and_o bear_v as_o also_o all_o the_o offence_n and_o transgression_n which_o ever_o since_o to_o this_o day_n and_o hour_n he_o have_v commit_v in_o thought_n word_n and_o deed_n against_o thy_o divine_a majesty_n cast_v they_o behind_o thy_o back_n remove_v they_o as_o far_o from_o thy_o presence_n 103._o as_o the_o east_n be_v from_o the_o west_n blot_v they_o out_o of_o thy_o remembrance_n lay_v they_o not_o to_o his_o charge_n wash_v they_o away_o with_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n that_o they_o may_v no_o more_o be_v see_v and_o deliver_v he_o from_o all_o the_o judgement_n which_o be_v due_a unto_o he_o for_o his_o sin_n that_o they_o may_v never_o trouble_v his_o conscience_n nor_o rise_v in_o judgement_n against_o his_o soul_n and_o impute_v unto_o he_o the_o righteousness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n whereby_o he_o may_v appear_v righteous_a in_o thy_o sight_n and_o in_o his_o extremity_n at_o this_o time_n we_o beseech_v thou_o look_v down_o from_o heaven_n upon_o he_o with_o those_o eye_n of_o grace_n and_o compassion_n wherewith_o thou_o be_v wont_a to_o look_v upon_o thy_o child_n in_o their_o affliction_n and_o misery_n pity_v thy_o wound_a servant_n like_o the_o good_a samaritan_n for_o here_o be_v a_o sick_a soul_n that_o need_v the_o help_n of_o such_o a_o heavenly_a physician_n o_o lord_n increase_v his_o faith_n that_o he_o may_v believe_v that_o christ_n die_v for_o he_o and_o that_o his_o blood_n cleanse_v he_o from_o all_o his_o sin_n and_o either_o assuage_v his_o pain_n or_o else_o increase_v his_o patience_n to_o endure_v thy_o bless_a will_n and_o pleasure_n and_o good_a lord_n lay_v no_o more_o upon_o he_o than_o thou_o shall_v enable_v he_o to_o bear_v heave_v he_o up_o unto_o thyself_o with_o those_o sigh_n and_o groan_n which_o can_v be_v express_v make_v he_o now_o to_o feel_v what_o be_v the_o hope_n of_o his_o call_v and_o what_o be_v the_o exceed_a greatness_n of_o thy_o mercy_n and_o power_n towards_o they_o that_o believe_v in_o thou_o and_o in_o his_o weakness_n o_o lord_n show_v thou_o thy_o strength_n defend_v he_o against_o the_o suggestion_n and_o temptation_n of_o satan_n who_o as_o he_o have_v all_o his_o life_n time_n will_v now_o in_o his_o weakness_n especial_o seek_v to_o assail_v he_o and_o to_o devour_v he_o oh_o save_v his_o soul_n and_o reprove_v satan_n &_o command_v thy_o holy_a angel_n to_o be_v about_o he_o to_o aid_v he_o &_o to_o chase_v away_o
