law_n and_o he_o must_v set_v the_o full_a power_n of_o the_o gospel_n at_o the_o back_n of_o the_o soul_n or_o else_o the_o heart_n will_v not_o break_v it_o be_v a_o pretty_a observation_n of_o aristotle_n lay_v say_v he_o a_o axe_n upon_o a_o block_n and_o a_o great_a and_o mighty_a weight_n upon_o it_o yet_o it_o will_v not_o enter_v into_o the_o block_n to_o cleave_v it_o but_o if_o you_o consider_v this_o you_o will_v down_o with_o your_o proud_a heart_n again_o consider_v what_o it_o be_v to_o be_v a_o unbeliever_n to_o give_v god_n the_o lie_n as_o every_o unbeliever_n do_v to_o let_v the_o great_a meity_n of_o god_n to_o fall_v into_o the_o channel_n rather_o than_o i_o will_v put_v out_o my_o hand_n to_o reach_v they_o this_o every_o unbeliever_n do_v now_o we_o shall_v consider_v the_o danger_n of_o these_o sin_n and_o labour_n to_o avoid_v they_o and_o we_o shall_v strive_v to_o see_v the_o latitude_n and_o utmost_a extent_n of_o the_o bloodiness_n and_o baseness_n of_o our_o own_o heart_n that_o so_o we_o may_v keep_v the_o better_a watch_n against_o they_o sometime_o when_o a_o father_n will_v have_v his_o child_n ashamed_a of_o himself_o he_o fetch_v a_o glass_n and_o show_v he_o what_o a_o deform_a face_n he_o make_v himself_o oh_o that_o you_o do_v but_o see_v the_o sinfulness_n and_o deformity_n of_o this_o course_n whereof_o god_n will_v have_v you_o to_o reform_v you_o can_v not_o but_o be_v ashamed_a of_o it_o second_o you_o must_v be_v deep_o humble_v for_o what_o ever_o it_o be_v that_o under_o the_o rod_n you_o do_v discover_v to_o be_v out_o of_o order_n both_o in_o your_o heart_n your_o mind_n and_o action_n the_o way_n of_o reformation_n be_v by_o weep_a cross_n i_o smite_v upon_o my_o thigh_n and_o be_v ashamed_a rich_a manasses_n who_o be_v a_o king_n humble_v himself_o great_o before_o the_o lord_n god_n of_o his_o father_n this_o indeed_o be_v repentance_n not_o to_o be_v repent_v of_o what_o fear_n what_o indignation_n what_o zeal_n have_v the_o saint_n of_o god_n show_v in_o their_o reform_v under_o the_o rod_n say_v god_n my_o people_n that_o be_v call_v by_o my_o name_n shall_v humble_v themselves_o and_o turn_v from_o their_o evil_a way_n no_o turn_n aright_o without_o humiliation_n when_o a_o child_n once_o see_v wherein_o he_o have_v offend_v and_o the_o heinousness_n of_o his_o offence_n he_o fall_v down_o upon_o his_o knee_n and_o cry_v out_o pardon_n pardon_n so_o must_v we_o labour_v to_o see_v the_o greatness_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o the_o heinousness_n of_o they_o that_o so_o we_o may_v be_v the_o deep_o humble_v for_o they_o and_o then_o the_o soul_n at_o the_o apprehension_n of_o sin_n grow_v upon_o the_o heart_n in_o regard_n of_o the_o root_n of_o original_a sin_n that_o feed_v it_o and_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o weakness_n of_o his_o own_o nature_n to_o withstand_v the_o world_n the_o flesh_n and_o the_o devil_n will_v seek_v after_o christ_n get_v christ_n hug_v christ_n than_o he_o will_v know_v the_o worth_n of_o a_o saviour_n and_o will_v esteem_v of_o a_o saviour_n for_o he_o know_v that_o god_n have_v set_v he_o apart_o that_o he_o may_v give_v repentance_n to_o israel_n and_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n act_n 5._o 31._o to_o bless_v you_o in_o turn_v every_o one_o of_o you_o from_o your_o iniquity_n as_o act_n 3._o 26._o he_o knhw_v that_o
