so_o trouble_v with_o they_o as_o to_o say_v that_o the_o town_n or_o place_n be_v trouble_v and_o we_o can_v never_o be_v at_o quiet_a since_o there_o be_v such_o and_o such_o preach_v be_v there_o not_o infinite_a malice_n it_o can_v never_o enter_v into_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n such_o a_o conceit_n as_o this_o be_v you_o speak_v about_o treat_v of_o peace_n with_o god_n but_o they_o be_v severe_a and_o denounce_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n against_o we_o i_o appeal_v to_o you_o how_o do_v we_o denounce_v they_o do_v we_o denounce_v they_o absolute_a or_o only_o in_o order_n to_o the_o bring_n of_o the_o soul_n to_o faith_n and_o repentance_n what_o do_v we_o plead_v against_o it_o be_v but_o against_o your_o sin_n that_o be_v your_o enemy_n your_o deadly_a enemy_n that_o league_n with_o sin_n or_o to_o break_v it_o that_o you_o may_v have_v a_o league_n between_o god_n and_o your_o soul_n this_o be_v the_o intention_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o you_o will_v say_v if_o say_v what_o shall_v we_o do_v i_o answer_v though_o we_o know_v that_o it_o be_v the_o great_a work_n of_o christ_n to_o make_v our_o peace_n with_o god_n yet_o god_n require_v this_o and_o in_o require_v it_o if_o you_o belong_v to_o he_o he_o will_v convey_v some_o secret_a influence_n of_o his_o grace_n into_o you_o to_o enable_v you_o to_o do_v it_o be_v will_v give_v you_o a_o heart_n to_o labour_v for_o it_o which_o indeed_o be_v one_o sign_n of_o our_o peace_n help_v 1_o and_o therefore_o let_v i_o persuade_v you_o to_o do_v what_o you_o can_v do_v but_o keep_v for_o the_o among_o interpreter_n about_o this_o text_n i_o find_v mr._n calvin_n that_o usual_o hit_v as_o right_o as_o most_o carry_v of_o it_o by_o way_n of_o interogation_n and_o so_o he_o say_v you_o may_v read_v it_o thus_o will_v he_o take_v hold_v of_o my_o strength_n that_o he_o may_v make_v peace_n with_o i_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v have_v say_v what_o will_v he_o do_v will_v he_o stay_v so_o long_o till_o he_o come_v to_o be_v make_v sensible_a of_o my_o power_n upon_o he_o and_o of_o my_o strength_n to_o bring_v he_o down_o and_o than_o it_o may_v be_v he_o will_v make_v peace_n with_o i_o thus_o many_o do_v they_o stay_v till_o god_n come_v to_o make_v they_o sensible_a of_o his_o power_n and_o of_o his_o strength_n and_o then_o they_o will_v make_v their_o peace_n with_o god_n but_o i_o can_v hardly_o think_v this_o to_o be_v the_o scope_n only_o it_o be_v a_o very_a good_a meditation_n to_o set_v god_n before_o you_o in_o his_o power_n &_o in_o his_o strength_n &_o in_o his_o glory_n and_o to_o meditate_v with_o yourselves_o thus_o o_o if_o the_o lord_n shall_v come_v now_o and_o make_v i_o apprehensive_a and_o sensible_a of_o that_o power_n and_o strength_n of_o he_o indeed_o this_o will_v stir_v up_o my_o heart_n to_o seek_v to_o make_v my_o peace_n with_o he_o what_o be_v the_o reason_n that_o there_o come_v so_o many_o shriek_n and_o cry_n from_o soul_n when_o make_v it_o their_o work_n now_o to_o seek_v reconciliation_n and_o peace_n with_o god_n it_o be_v because_o they_o be_v not_o apprehensive_a of_o the_o power_n and_o majesty_n and_o glory_n that_o be_v such_o a_o mistake_n as_o indeed_o be_v a_o great_a dishonour_n to_o the_o work_n of_o god_n reconciliation_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n we_o must_v put_v much_o upon_o that_o great_a work_n which_o god_n put_v so_o much_o upon_o and_o if_o we_o do_v we_o may_v go_v up_o and_o down_o in_o the_o world_n with_o a_o world_n of_o comfort_n and_o it_o will_v increase_v sanctification_n indeed_o to_o deny_v all_o kind_n of_o obleigment_n of_o the_o law_n to_o god_n and_o to_o say_v that_o man_n be_v not_o bind_v to_o keep_v it_o as_o god_n be_v their_o creator_n &c_n &c_n there_o be_v a_o exstream_n vanity_n in_o it_o but_o to_o give_v the_o law_n that_o which_o be_v its_o due_n and_o to_o give_v the_o believer_n his_o due_a too_o to_o show_v how_o far_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o it_o and_o how_o far_o deliver_v from_o it_o this_o be_v a_o great_a mystery_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o people_n shall_v labour_v to_o understand_v it_o aright_o and_o take_v heed_n lest_o out_o of_o a_o desire_n to_o apprehend_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n we_o do_v not_o go_v too_o far_o in_o ourthrow_v our_o obligation_n to_o god_n by_o the_o law_n one_o will_v think_v that_o this_o any_o good_a thing_n he_o enjoy_v from_o god_n as_o to_o think_v that_o this_o do_v tend_v to_o his_o eternal_a good_a so_o those_o that_o be_v believer_n though_o they_o meet_v with_o never_o so_o great_a affliction_n yet_o they_o have_v not_o sufficient_a ground_n to_o make_v this_o interpretation_n of_o those_o affliction_n that_o they_o tend_v to_o their_o utter_a undo_n and_o one_o will_v think_v that_o this_o be_v enough_o on_o the_o other_o side_n for_o man_n to_o believe_v that_o whatsoever_o affliction_n they_o meet_v withal_o in_o this_o world_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n in_o all_o those_o affliction_n be_v take_v away_o they_o shall_v not_o tend_v to_o their_o ruin_n and_o eeternal_a misery_n that_o though_o the_o affliction_n themselves_o may_v remain_v yet_o the_o poison_n be_v enough_o to_o satisfy_v we_o about_o the_o free_a grace_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n and_o believer_n be_v thorough_o revit_v and_o ground_v in_o this_o they_o may_v come_v to_o keep_v the_o assurance_n of_o their_o peace_n with_o god_n for_o what_o shall_v hinder_v either_o their_o sin_n or_o god_n affliction_n now_o neither_o of_o these_o shall_v hinder_v a_o believer_n peace_n but_o
