therefore_o elect_v and_o consequent_o such_o as_o shall_v be_v glorify_v howbeit_o as_o all_o be_v not_o gold_n that_o glister_v so_o all_o be_v not_o sanctification_n or_o true_a holiness_n that_o seem_v so_o to_o be_v for_o we_o read_v in_o the_o 29._o chapter_n of_o esay_n of_o such_o as_o draw_v nigh_o to_o god_n with_o their_o lip_n and_o yet_o be_v far_o from_o he_o in_o their_o heart_n and_o esay_n 28._o god_n in_o describe_v a_o people_n in_o who_o he_o find_v nothing_o but_o sin_n and_o transgression_n to_o be_v cry_v out_o of_o yet_o say_v thus_o of_o they_o yet_o they_o seek_v i_o daily_o and_o will_v know_v my_o way_n even_o as_o a_o nation_n that_o dydde_v righteous_o and_o have_v not_o forsake_v the_o statute_n of_o their_o god_n in_o these_o then_o there_o seem_v to_o to_o paint_a tomb_n which_o appear_v beautiful_a outward_a and_o yet_o there_o he_o denounce_v many_o he_o any_o woe_n against_o they_o &_o pronounce_v they_o hypocrite_n serpent_n and_o generation_n of_o viper_n math._n 23._o and_o therefore_o christ_n have_v tell_v we_o math._n 5._o verse_n 20._o except_o our_o righteousness_n exceed_v the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o scribe_n &_o pharisy_n we_o wicked_o that_o all_o man_n that_o have_v any_o acquaintance_n &_o familiarity_n with_o they_o see_v and_o behold_v their_o profane_a and_o wicked_a life_n but_o now_o let_v these_o alone_a let_v we_o take_v this_o profit_n by_o this_o lesson_n that_o it_o stand_v we_o upon_o to_o be_v righteous_a in_o deed_n if_o we_o be_v desirous_a hereby_o to_o reap_v any_o assurance_n of_o our_o election_n and_o justification_n and_o hereby_o let_v we_o take_v occasion_n to_o consider_v lest_o we_o be_v deceive_v in_o account_v ourselves_o true_o righteous_a when_o we_o be_v not_o what_o thing_n be_v necessary_a to_o true_a righteousness_n for_o the_o understanding_n whereof_o if_o we_o resort_v unto_o the_o scripture_n of_o god_n thereby_o shall_v we_o learn_v that_o true_a righteousness_n and_o perfect_a be_v a_o cease_n from_o all_o the_o sin_n condemn_v in_o the_o law_n in_o heart_n word_n deed_n and_o countenance_n and_o a_o embrace_v all_o the_o virtue_n commend_v in_o the_o same_o in_o heart_n word_n deed_n and_o countenance_n and_o further_o thereby_o shall_v we_o plain_o learn_v that_o he_o that_o will_v walk_v in_o holiness_n and_o righteousness_n before_o the_o lord_n he_o have_v to_o regard_v two_o principal_a thing_n the_o matter_n name_o that_o he_o exercise_v himself_o in_o and_o the_o manner_n how_o to_o do_v it_o for_o if_o either_o both_o of_o these_o or_o one_o of_o these_o be_v neglect_v the_o labour_n be_v lose_v the_o matter_n of_o a_o good_a work_n be_v that_o only_a which_o be_v warrant_v lawful_a to_o be_v do_v either_o express_o or_o by_o sound_a
