and_o lust_n who_o be_v enemy_n to_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n which_o present_v perfect_a to_o god_n by_o work_v out_o such_o evil_n all_o which_o i_o come_v to_o see_v not_o by_o man_n but_o in_o the_o revelation_n of_o christ_n as_o in_o his_o faith_n i_o learn_v he_o grow_v into_o his_o faith_n into_o he_o and_o his_o life_n therein_o make_v manifest_a in_o my_o body_n so_o i_o see_v what_o be_v his_o in_o truth_n as_o the_o truth_n be_v in_o jesus_n and_o what_o be_v the_o world_n and_o but_o call_v he_o to_o oppose_v he_o and_o i_o see_v that_o which_o love_v the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n to_o be_v none_o of_o his_o love_n nor_o that_o his_o joy_n that_o take_v pleasure_n in_o visible_a thing_n nor_o that_o his_o liberty_n which_o be_v in_o the_o work_n of_o the_o flesh_n nor_o that_o his_o peace_n that_o be_v in_o sin_n nor_o that_o his_o patience_n that_o seek_v its_o own_o revenge_n nor_o that_o his_o glory_n that_o be_v in_o pride_n nor_o that_o his_o worship_n which_o stand_v in_o carnal_a thing_n nor_o that_o his_o honour_n that_o be_v seek_v of_o man_n nor_o that_o his_o knowledge_n that_o be_v after_o the_o flesh_n nor_o that_o his_o fear_n that_o be_v teach_v by_o his_o precept_n of_o man_n these_o be_v in_o the_o world_n and_o not_o in_o he_o but_o have_v only_o get_v the_o name_n to_o be_v his_o but_o be_v enemy_n to_o his_o life_n and_o be_v never_o beget_v of_o his_o father_n nor_o learned_a in_o the_o son_n all_o which_o and_o much_o like_a stuff_n i_o come_v to_o see_v the_o deceit_n of_o by_o that_o truth_n and_o simplicity_n i_o find_v in_o christ_n contrary_a to_o the_o will_n of_o man_n and_o so_o in_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n i_o have_v learned_a to_o know_v the_o growth_n of_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o riches_n of_o it_o and_o the_o end_n of_o it_o which_o be_v christ_n jesus_n in_o all_o its_o work_n and_o i_o also_o know_v the_o world_n faith_n its_o uncleanness_n who_o end_n be_v not_o to_o attain_v the_o holiness_n of_o christ_n in_o life_n but_o will_v live_v in_o the_o world_n delight_n and_o have_v christ_n for_o a_o cover_n and_o be_v save_v by_o the_o righteousness_n of_o another_o which_o they_o have_v no_o mind_n to_o walk_v in_o themselves_o and_o so_o that_o faith_n work_v not_o by_o love_n which_o love_v not_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n but_o be_v enemy_n to_o his_o cross_n mind_v earthly_a thing_n and_o this_o be_v the_o earthly_a faith_n but_o the_o live_a faith_n work_v by_o love_n to_o holiness_n of_o life_n and_o therefore_o purify_v the_o heart_n and_o the_o mystery_n of_o it_o stand_v in_o a_o pure_a conscience_n within_o themselves_o that_o have_v it_o and_o not_o in_o tell_v and_o comprehend_v what_o be_v in_o another_o for_o the_o devil_n believe_v the_o holiness_n that_o be_v in_o christ_n and_o can_v preach_v it_o but_o can_v inherit_v it_o because_o they_o love_v not_o to_o live_v the_o life_n of_o it_o and_o by_o this_o i_o know_v they_o both_o for_o ever_o and_o all_o that_o prove_v they_o in_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n shall_v witness_v with_o i_o the_o end_n of_o the_o one_o be_v the_o life_n of_o christ_n in_o which_o himself_o walk_v and_o the_o same_o obedience_n of_o the_o same_o spirit_n to_o the_o same_o father_n by_o the_o same_o power_n according_a to_o the_o proportion_n of_o faith_n receive_v from_o god_n which_o faith_n be_v from_o above_o and_o so_o lay_v hold_v on_o heavenly_a thing_n for_o its_o strength_n and_o so_o bring_v forth_o heavenly_a fruit_n the_o other_o profess_v and_o promise_v great_a thing_n but_o end_n in_o the_o world_n and_o mind_n earthly_a thing_n and_o do_v not_o purify_v the_o heart_n nor_o believe_v ever_o to_o attain_v the_o life_n of_o christ_n his_o stature_n or_o fullness_n but_o count_v it_o a_o error_n in_o such_o as_o press_v after_o such_o attainment_n and_o so_o the_o end_n of_o the_o conversation_n of_o one_o be_v christ_n jesus_n to_o hold_v forth_o in_o life_n and_o power_n the_o same_o yesterday_o and_o to_o day_n and_o for_o ever_o the_o end_n of_o the_o other_o be_v a_o liberty_n to_o sin_n here_o while_o they_o can_v take_v any_o pleasure_n in_o it_o and_o sanctification_n and_o salvation_n when_o they_o be_v dead_a and_o according_a to_o the_o end_n of_o each_o faith_n so_o it_o work_v for_o its_o impossible_a for_o he_o that_o can_v believe_v holiness_n to_o work_v holiness_n but_o according_a to_o each_o man_n faith_n so_o must_v he_o inherit_v in_o this_o world_n and_o that_o which_o be_v to_o come_v and_o in_o the_o working_n and_o attainment_n of_o this_o live_a powerful_a faith_n i_o have_v find_v several_a measure_n according_a to_o my_o growth_n therein_o from_o the_o word_n of_o the_o begin_n of_o christ_n or_o the_o first_o principle_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o fullness_n age_n and_o stature_n of_o christ_n as_o betwixt_o a_o babe_n &_o a_o man_n grow_v in_o strength_n &_o much_o work_n in_o spirit_n i_o find_v betwixt_o faith_n receive_v of_o christ_n jesus_n and_o christ_n learn_v in_o i_o for_o though_o i_o receive_v the_o faith_n of_o his_o fullness_n in_o what_o he_o be_v at_o jerusalem_n in_o his_o flesh_n there_o at_o once_o yet_o have_v not_o i_o so_o learn_v he_o in_o spirit_n &_o life_n in_o my_o mortal_a flesh_n nor_o put_v he_o on_o at_o once_o but_o in_o the_o light_n of_o faith_n i_o see_v i_o be_v so_o to_o run_v as_o to_o win_v he_o before_o i_o can_v put_v he_o on_o wherein_o i_o come_v to_o see_v and_o know_v myself_o beget_v again_o in_o he_o by_o faith_n towards_o god_n who_o be_v the_o way_n to_o god_n in_o which_o way_n i_o come_v to_o see_v the_o beget_v of_o the_o father_n manife_a in_o measure_n in_o i_o in_o the_o pure_a image_n of_o a_o holy_a child_n separate_z from_o the_o fleshly_a sinful_a seed_n or_o christ_n form_v in_o i_o as_o the_o scripture_n witness_v and_o when_o i_o do_v behold_v his_o pure_a image_n and_o his_o pure_a mind_n and_o nature_n so_o far_o contrary_a to_o my_o own_o yet_o then_o be_v not_o he_o in_o his_o kingdom_n nor_o all_o thing_n put_v under_o his_o foot_n nor_o can_v i_o say_v that_o jesus_n be_v then_o lord_n in_o i_o but_o by_o the_o spirit_n work_v by_o this_o faith_n i_o have_v receive_v and_o in_o hope_n thereof_o be_v i_o make_v to_o endure_v the_o loss_n of_o all_o thing_n and_o to_o deny_v all_o thing_n that_o ever_o this_o holy_a spirit_n do_v war_n against_o in_o i_o which_o may_v any_o way_n oppress_v this_o holy_a plant_n or_o hinder_v its_o growth_n own_v his_o judgement_n in_o the_o light_n upon_o what_o ever_o be_v in_o my_o heart_n or_o affection_n but_o he_o alone_o though_o never_o so_o much_o gain_v in_o my_o account_n in_o the_o world_n which_o judgement_n be_v own_v &_o consent_v to_o against_o myself_o and_o all_o myself_o lover_n therein_o be_v i_o part_v from_o they_o in_o judgement_n and_o so_o then_o be_v they_o subdue_v by_o the_o powerful_a working_n of_o that_o spirit_n and_o put_v under_o his_o foot_n and_o i_o set_v free_a from_o they_o to_o arise_v with_o he_o above_o they_o be_v bring_v from_o under_o they_o and_o this_o be_v not_o do_v all_o at_o once_o but_o in_o order_n as_o he_o appear_v in_o the_o light_n to_o manifest_v every_o particular_a evil_n and_o as_o that_o faith_n i_o have_v receive_v wrought_v by_o love_n to_o he_o a_o consent_n in_o my_o spirit_n to_o his_o just_a judgement_n upon_o they_o and_o i_o make_v willing_a to_o give_v they_o up_o to_o the_o fire_n and_o to_o come_v out_o of_o they_o and_o join_v to_o he_o in_o the_o execution_n lest_o he_o shall_v consume_v i_o with_o they_o as_o it_o must_v have_v be_v have_v i_o stay_v in_o they_o and_o here_o i_o find_v the_o benefit_n of_o the_o light_n which_o go_v before_o his_o face_n to_o prepare_v his_o way_n and_o the_o salvation_n of_o faith_n which_o save_v i_o through_o hope_n of_o he_o that_o i_o be_v not_o destroy_v in_o my_o sin_n which_o faith_n and_o hope_n give_v i_o a_o entrance_n within_o the_o vail_n or_o a_o hide_v place_n in_o he_o while_o the_o indignation_n be_v over_o which_o be_v to_o pass_v upon_o the_o man_n of_o sin_n and_o so_o a_o voice_n be_v hear_v in_o the_o wilderness_n call_v out_o of_o sin_n into_o a_o way_n i_o know_v not_o but_o as_o the_o light_n of_o his_o covenant_n lead_v i_o in_o the_o spirit_n of_o elias_n turn_v my_o heart_n towards_o he_o that_o he_o may_v not_o smite_v the_o earth_n with_o a_o curse_n at_o his_o come_n in_o which_o wâ—y_n ere_o i_o come_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n my_o pure_a rest_n i_o meet_v with_o many_o hardship_n
be_v their_o strength_n and_o here_o they_o take_v comfort_n to_o themselves_o against_o all_o reproof_n witâ—_n in_o or_o from_o without_o though_o live_v open_o in_o the_o great_a whoredom_n against_o the_o spirit_n of_o holiness_n carnal_a or_o spiritual_a that_o can_v be_v mention_v even_o at_o a_o distance_n from_o christ_n in_o his_o whole_a life_n yet_o they_o believe_v christ_n come_v to_o save_v sinner_n of_o which_o they_o be_v chief_a and_o they_o that_o be_v whole_a need_v not_o the_o physician_n etc._n etc._n and_o so_o the_o great_a their_o wickedness_n be_v the_o near_a to_o christ_n they_o believe_v and_o by_o this_o faith_n he_o that_o come_v to_o save_v people_n from_o sin_n and_o to_o lead_v out_o of_o sin_n both_o by_o example_n and_o spirit_n be_v make_v a_o cover_n for_o all_o filthiness_n of_o flesh_n and_o spirit_n and_o to_o strengthen_v the_o heart_n of_o wickedness_n against_o the_o life_n of_o holiness_n some_o in_o one_o sin_n some_o in_o another_o but_o with_o this_o faith_n do_v all_o sort_n strengthen_v themselves_o and_o harden_v their_o heart_n against_o the_o light_n of_o christ_n and_o that_o spirit_n which_o reprove_v the_o world_n of_o sin_n and_o convince_v of_o it_o and_o will_v lead_v out_o of_o it_o and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o the_o witness_n of_o god_n that_o be_v holy_a in_o all_o be_v trample_v under_o foot_n in_o all_o and_o little_o regard_v in_o any_o but_o by_o this_o faith_n believe_v on_o in_o none_o to_o be_v the_o way_n to_o the_o father_n though_o the_o world_n have_v no_o light_n but_o it_o nor_o be_v there_o a_o promise_n of_o life_n in_o any_o other_o and_o this_o to_o i_o appear_v to_o be_v that_o faith_n of_o the_o devil_n or_o dead_a faith_n the_o apostle_n speak_v on_o james_n 2._o though_o more_o harden_v in_o it_o against_o god_n fear_n for_o the_o devil_n when_o they_o believe_v tremble_v at_o it_o so_o this_o faith_n i_o leave_v be_v judge_v already_o by_o its_o fruit_n with_o the_o light_n of_o christ_n in_o every_o honest_a heart_n that_o love_v holiness_n and_o of_o that_o faith_n i_o shall_v speak_v something_o in_o which_o i_o have_v find_v a_o measure_n of_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n make_v manifest_a in_o my_o mortal_a body_n in_o which_o life_n alone_o be_v the_o true_a and_o eternal_a union_n and_o atonement_n with_o the_o holy_a god_n into_o who_o no_o unclean_a thing_n can_v enter_v and_o this_o be_v not_o a_o notion_n of_o what_o be_v do_v in_o another_o generation_n past_a or_o to_o come_v hundred_o or_o thousand_o of_o year_n distance_n but_o that_o which_o lead_v to_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o work_n of_o a_o new_a creature_n at_o this_o day_n and_o a_o new_a birth_n spiritual_o beget_v and_o bear_v and_o bring_v to_o light_n without_o which_o none_o can_v see_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n nor_o enter_v therein_o and_o this_o faith_n do_v not_o work_v by_o the_o comprehension_n of_o brain-knowledge_n that_o because_o i_o be_v the_o estate_n of_o many_o at_o this_o day_n though_o some_o there_o be_v who_o conscience_n be_v fear_v and_o feel_v not_o this_o witness_n live_v in_o they_o though_o their_o damnation_n slumber_v not_o though_o they_o have_v lose_v their_o call_v and_o election_n also_o and_o this_o have_v i_o learn_v in_o christ_n that_o there_o be_v a_o great_a difference_n both_o in_o effect_n thing_n at_o this_o day_n so_o to_o walk_v as_o they_o do_v and_o as_o this_o faith_n be_v not_o perfect_a in_o worship_n so_o in_o practice_n also_o for_o that_o evil_a he_o be_v not_o addict_v to_o he_o condemn_v in_o all_o but_o that_o which_o be_v in_o his_o own_o heart_n and_o eye_n and_o bring_v he_o profit_n and_o pleasure_n that_o he_o will_v cover_v and_o believe_v it_o may_v stand_v with_o true_a belief_n at_o this_o day_n though_o former_o it_o can_v not_o and_o this_o be_v the_o faith_n make_v after_o man_n and_o not_o after_o god_n and_o so_o serve_v in_o respect_n of_o person_n time_n and_o thing_n but_o bow_v not_o all_o these_o for_o ever_o to_o worship_v in_o spirit_n nor_o bring_v they_o under_o the_o foot_n of_o jesus_n that_o spirit_n but_o be_v earthly_a by_o and_o may_v not_o such_o true_o be_v say_v to_o be_v past_a feel_n indeed_o who_o can_v commit_v sin_n and_o feel_v no_o condemnation_n for_o it_o already_o and_o this_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o their_o false_a faith_n to_o harden_v themselves_o against_o the_o faithful_a witness_n of_o god_n in_o their_o own_o conscience_n and_o the_o sear_a conscience_n have_v make_v shipwreck_n of_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o doctrine_n of_o devil_n preach_v the_o faith_n of_o devil_n to_o give_v way_n to_o the_o work_n of_o the_o devil_n which_o all_o sin_n be_v from_o the_o least_o to_o the_o great_a and_o he_o that_o plead_v for_o it_o be_v a_o father_n to_o it_o and_o he_o that_o commit_v it_o a_o servant_n and_o may_v look_v for_o the_o wage_n thereof_o if_o he_o repent_v not_o notwithstanding_o he_o believe_v the_o contrary_n and_o many_o may_v feel_v this_o truth_n at_o this_o day_n who_o have_v a_o long_a time_n believe_v with_o this_o faith_n deceive_v their_o own_o soul_n day_n uâ—ter_v day_n believe_v they_o shall_v not_o be_v condemn_v when_o they_o be_v condemn_v already_o iâ—_n their_o own_o heart_n and_o feel_v the_o weight_n of_o sin_n daily_o press_v their_o soul_n and_o burden_v the_o pure_a conscience_n and_o the_o fear_n of_o death_n and_o sin_n keep_v their_o soul_n still_o in_o bondage_n and_o lie_v upon_o they_o all_o their_o life_n and_o yet_o they_o will_v force_v themselves_o to_o believe_v contrary_a to_o holy_a faith_n and_o a_o good_a conscience_n that_o they_o be_v save_v and_o redeem_v and_o thus_o make_v shipwreck_n of_o save_a faith_n and_o a_o good_a conscience_n by_o believe_v a_o lie_n contrary_a to_o their_o own_o daily_a feel_n no_o other_o thing_n to_o encourage_v they_o therein_o but_o this_o persuasion_n which_o suit_v well_o with_o such_o as_o take_v pleasure_n in_o unrighteousness_n which_o persuasion_n come_v not_o of_o god_n but_o condemn_v by_o that_o of_o god_n in_o themselves_o and_o this_o
in_o your_o heart_n set_v it_o up_o above_o the_o will_n of_o man_n let_v it_o shine_v in_o your_o heart_n let_v it_o speak_v in_o your_o court_n that_o which_o be_v of_o god_n in_o you_o all_o which_o judge_n just_o and_o with_o equity_n lay_v by_o your_o will_n your_o pride_n your_o covetousness_n and_o all_o that_o be_v above_o that_o spirit_n of_o meekness_n in_o your_o mind_n and_o make_v room_n in_o your_o heart_n for_o the_o holy_a ghost_n that_o thereby_o jesus_n may_v be_v lord_n in_o you_o and_o over_o other_o that_o you_o may_v know_v he_o to_o who_o judgement_n belong_v nor_o accept_v the_o person_n of_o the_o wicked_a but_o that_o with_o he_o you_o may_v deliver_v the_o poor_a and_o fatherless_a and_o judge_v the_o cause_n of_o the_o stranger_n wherein_o they_o be_v
