CLXII Christ informs the godly how they are to prepare for his second coming L Luke V. 34 ANd take heed to your selves lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfetting and drunkennesse and cares of this life and so that day come upon you unawares Luke V. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth M Matth. V. 38 For as in the dayes that were before the sloud they were eating and drinking marrying and giving in marriage untill the day that Noe entred into the ark Matth. V. 49 My Lord delayeth his coming And shall begin to smite his fellow-servants and to eat and drink with the drunken Matth. V. 50 The Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him and in an houre that he is not ware of And shall cut him asunder Matth.
