have_v such_o a_o vital_a influence_n upon_o our_o faith_n and_o that_o the_o will_n contribute_v so_o much_o to_o believe_v by_o prevail_v with_o the_o understanding_n to_o contemplate_v on_o and_o frequent_o converse_v with_o and_o with_o great_a advertency_n attend_v to_o those_o divine_a and_o heavenly_a object_n and_o the_o motive_n to_o believe_v they_o it_o do_v therefore_o follow_v second_o that_o whatsoever_o do_v engage_v the_o heart_n and_o take_v the_o will_v off_o so_o as_o that_o they_o do_v not_o cause_v this_o application_n of_o mind_n that_o must_v needs_o weaken_v against_o himself_o and_o wilful_o retain_v they_o and_o dwell_v on_o they_o will_v not_o be_v divert_v from_o such_o thought_n which_o do_v not_o only_o with_o these_o their_o envenom_a dart_n stab_v doctrine_n outward_a testimony_n the_o only_a argument_n in_o matter_n of_o fact_n and_o that_o in_o behalf_n of_o christian_n it_o be_v far_o great_a and_o more_o pregnant_a than_o there_o be_v for_o any_o other_o fact_n that_o ever_o be_v such_o as_o humane_o speak_v be_v impossible_a not_o to_o be_v true_a nor_o can_v there_o ever_o yet_o be_v find_v a_o rational_a exception_n or_o just_a spirit_n will_v do_v all_o that_o be_v needful_a to_o complete_v their_o faith_n and_o make_v it_o certain_a to_o salvation_n so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o need_n on_o their_o behalf_n of_o such_o self_n evidence_n of_o principle_n and_o motive_n to_o infuse_v such_o metaphysical_a certainty_n into_o their_o faith_n and_o yet_o this_o certainty_n of_o faith_n not_o only_o be_v the_o ground_n only_o of_o their_o faith_n but_o this_o their_o confidence_n whereby_o they_o so_o exalt_v themselves_o and_o censure_v we_o be_v the_o absolute_a certainty_n of_o the_o live_a voice_n and_o practice_n of_o that_o church_n which_o resolve_v her_o faith_n by_o this_o rule_n or_o principle_n not_o to_o believe_v or_o teach_v or_o practice_v any_o thing_n as_o of_o faith_n but_o what_o

cause_v it_o be_v plain_a he_o have_v a_o certainty_n of_o will_n which_o in_o its_o way_n extend_v itself_o to_o the_o government_n of_o his_o whole_a life_n answerable_o to_o that_o his_o
