call_v upon_o god_n so_o it_o be_v with_o man_n when_o they_o have_v excessive_a grief_n when_o their_o a_o guish_n of_o heart_n be_v exceed_o great_a so_o that_o whether_o a_o man_n have_v a_o cheerful_a disposition_n or_o a_o sad_a whether_o the_o sadness_n be_v great_a or_o small_a still_o you_o shall_v find_v a_o difficulty_n if_o we_o be_v idle_a &_o have_v nothing_o to_o do_v our_o heart_n will_v be_v possess_v with_o vain_a thought_n and_o if_o we_o be_v full_a of_o business_n that_o distract_v we_o also_o and_o indispose_v we_o on_o the_o other_o side_n so_o still_o there_o be_v impediment_n but_o there_o be_v one_o great_a impediment_n among_o the_o rest_n and_o most_o common_a which_o be_v worldly_a care_n 4_o and_o worldly-mindednes_a worldly_a care_n hinder_v spiritual_a prayer_n and_o spiritual_a conference_n and_o the_o holy_a performance_n almost_o of_o every_o duty_n and_o therefore_o if_o you_o find_v a_o difficulty_n in_o it_o look_v narrow_o if_o that_o be_v not_o the_o cause_n again_o another_o great_a cause_n of_o this_o difficulty_n in_o prayer_n of_o such_o backwardness_n to_o it_o of_o such_o indisposition_n 5_o to_o it_o be_v because_o and_o our_o not_o consideration_n of_o he_o beside_o satan_n hinder_v we_o exceed_o in_o this_o 6_o duty_n for_o he_o know_v of_o what_o moment_n it_o be_v and_o of_o what_o consequence_n and_o therefore_o he_o do_v as_o the_o aramite_n do_v he_o fight_v not_o against_o small_a nor_o great_a but_o against_o the_o king_n he_o know_v it_o be_v this_o duty_n 31._o which_o quicken_v every_o
