holy_a ghost_n who_o dwell_v in_o we_o by_o faith_n and_o be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o seal_n of_o authority_n which_o seal_v up_o god_n promise_n in_o our_o heart_n the_o certainty_n whereof_o be_v print_v aforehand_o in_o our_o mind_n and_o be_v give_v we_o as_o a_o pledge_n to_o establish_v and_o confirm_v the_o same_o 2._o as_o soon_o as_o you_o believe_v say_v the_o apostle_n saint_n paul_n you_o be_v seal_v by_o the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o promise_n 〈◊〉_d who_o be_v the_o earnestpenny_a of_o our_o inheritance_n behold_v how_o he_o show_v we_o hereby_o that_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o the_o child_n of_o god_o and_o because_o we_o be_v his_o child_n he_o have_v send_v the_o spirit_n of_o his_o son_n into_o our_o heart_n which_o cry_v father_n father_n and_o to_o the_o roman_n those_o say_v he_o that_o be_v guide_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_o 8._o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n for_o you_o have_v not_o receive_v again_o the_o spirit_n of_o bondage_n in_o fear_n but_o the_o spirit_n of_o adoption_n whereby_o we_o cry_v father_n father_n for_o certain_o the_o sam●_n spirit_n bear_v our_o spirit_n record_n that_o we_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n now_o then_o if_o we_o be_v child_n we_o be_v also_o heir_n and_o we_o must_v mark_v well_o that_o in_o these_o two_o place_n the_o apostle_n saint_n paul_n speak_v plain_o not_o of_o any_o special_a revelation_n but_o of_o a_o certain_a record_n which_o the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v common_o yield_v to_o all_o such_o as_o receive_v the_o grace_n of_o the_o gospel_n then_o if_o the_o holy_a ghost_n assure_v we_o that_o we_o be_v god_n child_n and_o heir_n why_o shall_v we_o doubt_v of_o our_o predestination_n the_o same_o man_n say_v in_o the_o same_o epistle_n 8._o who_o he_o have_v predestinate_v they_o have_v he_o also_o call_v and_o who_o he_o have_v call_v they_o have_v he_o also_o make_v righteous_a &_o who_o he_o have_v make_v righteous_a they_o also_o have_v he_o glorify_v what_o shall_v we_o they_o say_v to_o all_o these_o thing_n if_o god_n be_v on_o our_o side_n nation_n who_o can_v be_v against_o we_o and_o therefore_o if_o i_o plain_o perceive_v that_o god_n have_v call_v i_o by_o give_v i_o in_o part_n why_o shall_v i_o doubt_v that_o i_o be_o not_o predestinate_v and_o moreover_o we_o say_v with_o saint_n paul_n that_o all_o true_a christian_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n all_o such_o as_o believe_v the_o gospel_n receive_v not_o the_o spirit_n of_o this_o world_n 2._o but_o the_o spirit_n that_o come_v from_o god_n by_o the_o inspiration_n where_o of_o they_o discern_v the_o thing_n that_o god_n have_v give_v they_o what_o marvel_v then_o be_v it_o if_o we_o know_v that_o god_n have_v certain_o give_v we_o everlasting_a life_n but_o there_o be_v some_o which_o say_v that_o no_o man_n ought_v to_o presume_v so_o far_o as_o to_o boast_v himself_o to_o have_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n they_o speak_v in_o such_o wise_n as_o if_o the_o christian_n shall_v glory_v of_o the_o have_v of_o it_o for_o his_o own_o desert_n &_o not_o by_o the_o only_a &_o mere_a mercy_n of_o god_n and_o as_o though_o it_o be_v a_o presumptuousness_n to_o profess_v himself_o a_o christian_n or_o as_o though_o a_o man_n can_v be_v a_o christian_n without_o the_o have_v of_o christ_n spirit_n or_o as_o though_o we_o can_v without_o flat_a hypocrisy_n say_v that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v our_o lord_n 8._o or_o call_v god_n our_o father_n if_o the_o holy_a ghost_n move_v not_o our_o heart_n &_o tongue_n to_o utter_v so_o sweet_a word_n 12_o and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o even_o they_o that_o count_v we_o presumptuous_a for_o say_v that_o god_n have_v give_v we_o his_o holy_a spirit_n with_o faith_n forbid_v we_o not_o to_o say_v every_o day_n our_o father_n but_o rather_o command_v we_o but_o i_o will_v have_v they_o too_o tell_v i_o how_o it_o be_v possible_a to_o separate_v faith_n &_o the_o holy_a ghost_n asunder_o see_v that_o faith_n be_v the_o peculiar_a work_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n if_o it_o be_v presumption_n to_o believe_v that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v in_o we_o christian_n why_o do_v saint_n paul_n bid_v the_o corinthian_n try_v themselves_o whither_o they_o
