we_o satan_n feed_v with_o a_o thousand_o fancy_n and_o and_o foolish_a imagination_n of_o imperfect_a shape_n sometime_o he_o deceive_v with_o the_o conceit_n of_o learning_n either_o this_o art_n or_o that_o language_n in_o the_o perfection_n whereof_o he_o persuade_v we_o lie_v much_o contentment_n but_o if_o humane_a speculation_n be_v not_o able_a to_o satisfy_v the_o mind_n than_o he_o have_v a_o more_o deceitful_a invention_n to_o deceive_v we_o and_o that_o be_v the_o propound_v of_o some_o form_n of_o religious_a exercise_n and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o he_o have_v beget_v so_o many_o new_a invention_n in_o the_o sect-maker_n of_o our_o time_n as_o in_o old_a time_n he_o have_v do_v heretofore_o this_o be_v a_o sea_n and_o a_o labyrinth_n of_o distraction_n here_o the_o poor_a soul_n find_v a_o beginning_n but_o hardly_o any_o end_n for_o this_o religious_a knowledge_n be_v so_o variable_a through_o the_o multiplicity_n of_o curious_a wit_n and_o contentious_a spirit_n sect-maker_n for_o the_o most_o part_n that_o the_o life_n of_o man_n be_v too_o short_a to_o take_v a_o view_n of_o this_o variety_n moreover_o this_o exercise_n savore_v so_o of_o duty_n and_o obedience_n that_o man_n be_v afraid_a to_o neglect_v the_o earnest_a exercise_n thereof_o but_o well_o do_v satan_n see_v how_o to_o puff_n up_o the_o mind_n in_o the_o acquire_n of_o such_o and_o knowledge_n do_v even_o feed_v and_o feast_v themselves_o as_o man_n in_o dream_n suppose_v themselves_o to_o have_v all_o thing_n and_o yet_o indeed_o have_v nothing_o but_o only_o a_o bladder_n full_a or_o rather_o a_o brain_n full_a of_o windy_a and_o wordy_a conception_n so_o fruitless_a be_v all_o speculation_n and_o knowledge_n in_o respect_n of_o quiet_v the_o soul_n or_o heart_n for_o as_o shall_v be_v show_v the_o soul_n can_v communicate_v with_o any_o such_o comprehensible_a thing_n but_o only_o with_o god_n which_o be_v a_o spirit_n and_o able_a to_o fill_v the_o will_v observe_v two_o thing_n first_o what_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o this_o deceit_n and_o second_o the_o manner_n how_o it_o work_v the_o ground_n of_o this_o deceit_n be_v a_o incredulity_n concern_v this_o heart_n happiness_n for_o it_o be_v hard_o to_o find_v a_o man_n that_o believe_v historical_o the_o quietness_n and_o happiness_n of_o the_o heart_n as_o it_o be_v to_o be_v consider_v to_o tell_v man_n that_o there_o be_v a_o rest_n and_o peace_n in_o god_n pass_v
