king_n in_o his_o throne_n or_o in_o his_o kingdom_n thus_o 1_o cor._n 4.20_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n be_v not_o in_o word_n but_o in_o power_n which_o word_v st._n paul_n expound_v 1_o thes_n 1.5_o for_o our_o gospel_n come_v not_o unto_o you_o in_o word_n only_o but_o also_o in_o power_n and_o in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n etc._n etc._n in_o the_o former_a place_n it_o be_v call_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n in_o this_o latter_a the_o gospel_n into_o this_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n the_o pharisee_n will_v neither_o enter_v themselves_o nor_o suffer_v other_o like_o aesop_n dog_n in_o the_o hay_n that_o will_v neither_o eat_v it_o himself_o nor_o suffer_v the_o cattle_n that_o will_v have_v make_v good_a use_n of_o it_o mat._n 23.13_o we_o therefore_o unto_o you_o scribes_z and_o to_o baptize_v or_o no_o or_o we_o may_v baptize_v in_o common_a water_n i_o answer_v if_o by_o consecrate_a water_n be_v mean_v that_o superstitious_a popish_a consecrarion_n we_o deny_v it_o for_o that_o be_v thus_o perform_v 1._o by_o certain_a careful_a cross_n 2._o by_o secret_a word_n 3._o by_o some_o odd_a gesture_n 4._o by_o these_o breathe_n on_o it_o as_o if_o like_a christ_n these_o blind_a hypocrite_n will_v thus_o give_v the_o holy_a ghost_n 5._o by_o take_v a_o burn_a wax_n candle_n and_o put_v it_o thrice_o into_o the_o water_n and_o say_v let_v the_o power_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n come_v down_o into_o this_o plentiful_a fountain_n and_o let_v it_o make_v the_o whole_a substance_n of_o this_o water_n faithful_a with_o the_o fruit_n of_o regeneration_n this_o they_o do_v upon_o that_o gross_a conceit_n that_o water_n be_v a_o physical_a instrument_n to_o convey_v grace_n we_o have_v no_o such_o warrant_n in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n or_o direction_n for_o any_o such_o thing_n but_o if_o by_o consecrate_a water_n no_o more_o be_v mean_v but_o water_n set_v a_o part_n for_o a_o holy_a use_n and_o good_a end_n and_o such_o as_o concern_v which_o we_o use_v prayer_n
