church_n and_o it_o to_o be_v whole_o under_o his_o obedience_n and_o not_o under_o the_o pope_n of_o rome_n and_o therefore_o be_v they_o no_o popish_a recusant_n second_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o swear_v and_o take_v oath_n before_o magistrate_n if_o it_o be_v require_v of_o they_o but_o they_o will_v not_o swear_v in_o no_o wise_a though_o thereunto_o require_v by_o magistrate_n though_o they_o suffer_v for_o it_o but_o do_v abide_v in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n who_o say_v swear_v not_o at_o all_o and_o he_o they_o choose_v to_o obey_v rather_o than_o magistrate_n that_o require_v to_o swear_v and_o therefore_o be_v they_o no_o popish_a recusant_n three_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o how_o to_o image_n worship_v they_o and_o honour_v they_o that_o be_v the_o work_n of_o man_n hand_n but_o they_o bow_v to_o no_o image_n neither_o do_v they_o worship_v or_o honour_v any_o image_n which_o be_v make_v with_o man_n hand_n in_o the_o likeness_n of_o any_o thing_n in_o heaven_n above_o or_o in_o the_o earth_n beneath_o and_o therefore_o be_v they_o no_o popish_a recusant_n four_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o own_o a_o purgatory_n after_o this_o life_n but_o they_o testify_v against_o such_o doctrine_n and_o do_v not_o believe_v any_o such_o fable_n therefore_o be_v they_o no_o popish_a recusant_n five_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o own_o temporal_a bread_n and_o wine_n after_o consecration_n to_o be_v the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n but_o they_o believe_v and_o know_v that_o his_o body_n which_o be_v meat_n indeed_o and_o his_o blood_n which_o be_v drink_v indeed_o i●_z spiritual_a and_o incorruptible_a and_o so_o not_o external_a bread_n and_o wine_n which_o will_v corrupt_v and_o decay_v after_o consecration_n as_o before_o and_o in_o this_o particular_a also_o they_o differ_v from_o the_o romish_a catholic_n and_o therefore_o be_v they_o no_o popish_a recusant_n six_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o observe_v day_n and_o holiday_n and_o time_n as_o christmas_n lent_n easter_n etc._n etc._n but_o these_o do_v they_o observe_v no_o more_o than_o other_o day_n and_o time_n and_o therefore_o be_v they_o no_o popish_a recusant●_n seven_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o use_v cross_n and_o crucifix_n with_o bead_n and_o such_o like_a frivolous_a thing_n 5_o and_o they_o will_v also_o mark_v themselves_o with_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o cross_n upon_o their_o forehead_n upon_o their_o mouth_n upon_o their_o breast_n and_o from_o one_o side_n to_o the_o other_o but_o cross_n crucifix_n and_o bead_n they_o reject_v as_o the_o work_n of_o man_n hand_n which_o can_v make_v their_o worship_n any_o thing_n more_o acceptable_a unto_o god_n neither_o do_v they_o at_o all_o mark_n themselves_o with_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o cross_n as_o popish_a recusant_n do_v therefore_o be_v they_o no_o popish_a recusant_n eight_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o pray_v for_o the_o dead_a and_o unto_o the_o saint_n that_o be_v dead_a that_o they_o may_v pray_v to_o god_n for_o they_o that_o be_v alive_a in_o the_o flesh_n but_o they_o do_v not_o pray_v for_o they_o that_o be_v outward_o dead_a nor_o unto_o the_o saint_n that_o be_v dead_a but_o unto_o the_o lord_n alone_o in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n who_o give_v life_n and_o breath_n and_o therefore_o be_v no_o popish_a recusant_n nine_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o once_o a_o year_n at_o the_o least_o confess_v their_o sin_n unto_o a_o popish_a priest_n upon_o their_o bend_a knee_n before_o the_o virgin_n mary_n the_o archangel_n john_n baptist_n peter_n and_o paul_n and_o before_o all_o the_o saint_n as_o popish_a recusant_n imagine_v and_o then_o will_v they_o pray_v unto_o these_o before_o mention_v for_o they_o to_o pray_v unto_o god_n for_o their_o absolution_n 17._o and_o after_o they_o have_v do_v thus_o will_v they_o receive_v a_o absolution_n from_o the_o priest_n etc._n etc._n but_o they_o confess_v their_o sin_n unto_o god_n who_o be_v able_a to_o remit_v and_o forgive_v they_o and_o not_o unto_o priest_n before_o the_o saint_n that_o be_v dead_a neither_o do_v they_o receive_v pardon_n or_o absolution_n from_o any_o mortal_a man_n of_o or_o for_o their_o sin_n and_o therefore_o be_v they_o no_o popish_a recusant_n ten_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o observe_v the_o command_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n which_o be_v chief_o these_o five_o viz._n first_o that_o the_o saint_n day_n be_v sanctify_v and_o keep_v holy_a second_o that_o they_o hear_v mass_n three_o that_o the_o feast_n day_n be_v due_o observe_v four_o that_o confession_n of_o sin_n be_v make_v at_o the_o least_o once_o a_o year_n to_o the_o priest_n and_o final_o that_o the_o sacrament_n be_v receive_v at_o or_o about_o the_o time_n of_o easter_n but_o these_o command_n and_o institution_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n they_o renounce_v as_o superstitious_a tradition_n of_o man_n with_o many_o more_o of_o their_o ceremony_n and_o rudiment_n and_o therefore_o be_v they_o no_o popish_a recusant_n eleven_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o respect_v man_n person_n as_o they_o papist_n do_v and_o have_v they_o in_o admiration_n because_o of_o advantage_n twelve_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n then_o will_v they_o wrestle_v with_o flesh_n and_o blood_n and_o will_v put_v such_o to_o death_n as_o they_o judge_v to_o be_v heretic_n that_o be_v not_o of_o their_o mind_n but_o the_o weapon_n of_o their_o warfare_n be_v not_o carnal_a but_o spiritual_a and_o therefore_o do_v not_o they_o wrestle_v with_o flesh_n and_o blood_n but_o be_v absolute_o against_o the_o take_v away_o of_o any_o man_n life_n for_o his_o judgement_n or_o opinion_n in_o matter_n of_o religion_n and_o therefore_o be_v they_o no_o popish_a recusant_n thirteen_o and_o final_o if_o they_o be_v popish_a recusant_n than_o will_v they_o go_v on_o pilgrimage_n hold_v up_o temple_n tithe_n altar_n nunnery_n relic_n indulgence_n inquisition_n then_o will_v they_o like_o unto_o the_o romish_a catholic_n believe_v whatsoever_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n believe_v but_o in_o life_n and_o doctrine_n so_o well_o as_o in_o matter_n of_o faith_n do_v they_o differ_v from_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n and_o that_o not_o only_o in_o the_o thing_n before_o mention_v but_o also_o concerning_o their_o seven_o sacrament_n and_o their_o baptise_n of_o infant_n and_o in_o many_o more_o thing_n and_o
