best_o to_o understand_v they_o sure_o we_o may_v not_o thereof_o gather_v that_o the_o king_n condemn_v all_o kind_n of_o gladness_n and_o all_o delight_n etc_n solomon_n condemn_v not_o all_o kind_n so_o his_o contentation_n be_v not_o contain_v within_o the_o limit_n either_o of_o the_o labour_n wisdom_n or_o devise_n of_o the_o son_n of_o man_n so_o now_o in_o like_a sort_n he_o prove_v by_o those_o his_o word_n that_o the_o same_o be_v neither_o find_v nor_o indeed_o consist_v in_o the_o pleasure_n &_o delight_n of_o those_o son_n of_o man_n the_o which_o be_v such_o pleasure_n &_o delight_n as_o be_v thorough_o ponder_v with_o wickedness_n and_o many_o lewd_a lust_n that_o often_o overwhelm_v man_n in_o perdition_n therefore_o all_o man_n be_v to_o beware_v the_o rather_o by_o the_o king_n example_n how_o they_o follow_v after_o their_o own_o lust_n in_o the_o way_n of_o their_o sinful_a affection_n and_o their_o be_v to_o respect_v this_o that_o the_o thought_n of_o their_o heart_n and_o desire_n consent_v with_o the_o spirit_n and_o word_n of_o god_n world_n the_o true_a contempt_n of_o the_o world_n the_o which_o will_v neither_o deceive_v they_o nor_o occasion_v they_o to_o repent_v the_o same_o and_o this_o be_v the_o true_a contempt_n of_o the_o world_n when_o be_v guide_v by_o god_n spirit_n they_o abstain_v from_o prosecute_a and_o effect_v their_o own_o lust_n pleasure_n and_o delight_n lust_n solomon_n vein_n in_o his_o lust_n but_o to_o draw_v more_o near_o to_o the_o objection_n the_o time_n be_v and_o that_o late_o when_o the_o king_n will_v exceed_v beyond_o his_o bound_n and_o so_o he_o abuse_v those_o good_a thing_n which_o he_o may_v have_v use_v for_o his_o solace_n and_o recreation_n for_o he_o say_v to_o his_o soul_n i_o will_v prove_v thou_o with_o joy_n and_o gladness_n or_o as_o it_o may_v be_v say_v i_o will_v swim_v in_o those_o delight_n i_o will_v dedicate_v myself_o to_o those_o pleasure_n nor_o will_v i_o desist_v or_o omit_v any_o occasion_n whatsoever_o until_o i_o have_v fulfil_v my_o desire_n yea_o i_o will_v whole_o regard_v how_o i_o may_v live_v in_o the_o world_n most_o pleasant_o &_o provide_v that_o nothing_o may_v be_v interpose_v to_o hinder_v those_o my_o lustful_a delight_n this_o be_v indeed_o his_o purpose_n in_o that_o fleshly_a conceit_n of_o he_o but_o he_o see_v pleasure_n no_o contentation_n in_o worldly_a pleasure_n that_o this_o be_v also_o a_o vain_a devise_n for_o in_o the_o prepare_n of_o those_o pleasure_n there_o be_v more_o cost_n than_o comeliness_n much_o more_o labour_n than_o profit_n and_o to_o be_v brief_a he_o find_v that_o in_o all_o those_o delight_n when_o the_o just_a reckon_n be_v take_v there_o be_v more_o pain_n than_o pleasure_n and_o no_o contentation_n at_o all_o for_o one_o labour_v bring_v in_o another_o one_o study_n and_o devise_v another_o one_o pleasure_n require_v another_o and_o for_o the_o most_o part_n determine_v in_o sorrow_n and_o grief_n now_o this_o be_v that_o which_o the_o king_n here_o condemn_v and_o not_o that_o honest_a and_o lawful_a joy_n and_o recreation_n which_o be_v either_o incident_a to_o man_n nature_n whereof_o he_o be_v call_v a_o risible_a creature_n or_o proper_a to_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n in_o this_o life_n wherein_o they_o rejoice_v in_o the_o lord_n and_o praise_v he_o for_o his_o benefit_n as_o david_n use_v with_o instrument_n of_o music_n howbeit_o as_o in_o the_o former_a so_o neither_o in_o this_o be_v contain_v man_n high_a felicity_n which_o be_v not_o find_v in_o this_o life_n but_o the_o word_n which_o the_o king_n use_v note_v as_o you_o well_o know_v rather_o a_o lightness_n of_o the_o mind_n and_o a_o immoderate_a and_o unmeasurable_a laughter_n to_o express_v the_o same_o than_o that_o pleasure_n or_o mirth_n which_o be_v proper_a to_o man_n nature_n and_o such_o person_n as_o be_v light_v mind_v and_o excessive_a and_o unmeasurable_a in_o their_o sport_n and_o laughter_n he_o may_v worthy_o
whereof_o world_n good_a counsel_n for_o they_o that_o live_v in_o this_o world_n man_n shall_v not_o so_o much_o marvel_n at_o the_o sudden_a change_n of_o other_o and_o at_o the_o inconstancy_n of_o these_o worldly_a thing_n as_o they_o shall_v endeavour_n to_o learn_v to_o beware_v that_o they_o depend_v not_o on_o the_o deceaveable_a vanity_n of_o this_o life_n and_o to_o take_v heed_n that_o or_o hear_v of_o the_o hurt_n sorrow_n or_o discontent_n of_o their_o sovereign_a lord_n at_o the_o alteration_n of_o who_o prosperous_a estate_n both_o noble_n and_o the_o commons_o be_v sudden_o
