that_o this_o be_v as_o proper_o a_o bodily_a disease_n as_o a_o fever_n or_o fit_n of_o the_o falling-sickness_n in_o the_o mean_a time_n while_o they_o be_v in_o this_o condition_n whatever_o rule_n be_v proper_a to_o be_v give_v to_o other_o person_n for_o the_o government_n of_o the_o thought_n of_o all_o people_n live_v those_o rule_n do_v the_o least_o concern_v they_o for_o those_o thought_n which_o they_o complain_v of_o do_v not_o at_o all_o fall_n under_o regulation_n or_o government_n because_o they_o be_v suggest_v to_o their_o mind_n whether_o they_o will_v or_o no._n and_o for_o my_o part_n i_o think_v it_o a_o great_a deal_n more_o advisable_a if_o it_o can_v be_v to_o neglect_v and_o despise_v they_o than_o to_o be_v perpetual_o struggle_v and_o dispute_v with_o they_o and_o vex_v themselves_o about_o they_o but_o you_o will_v say_v if_o man_n be_v such_o slave_n to_o their_o thought_n and_o be_v thus_o necessary_o passive_a under_o they_o where_o be_v the_o freedom_n of_o thought_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v in_o the_o four_o place_n out_o of_o these_o three_o case_n i_o beforementioned_n we_o have_v liberty_n of_o think_v and_o may_v choose_v our_o own_o ourselves_o about_o it_o it_o will_v then_o so_o fill_v our_o mind_n as_o that_o by_o attend_v to_o that_o we_o shall_v either_o prevent_v in_o a_o great_a measure_n other_o thought_n from_o come_v into_o our_o head_n or_o if_o they_o do_v come_v in_o they_o will_v not_o long_o stay_v there_o but_o will_v very_o speedy_o give_v place_n to_o that_o which_o be_v our_o main_a business_n at_o that_o time_n and_o the_o reason_n of_o this_o be_v plain_a because_o our_o nature_n be_v of_o that_o make_v that_o two_o thing_n at_o once_o can_v well_o possess_v our_o mind_n and_o therefore_o if_o we_o be_v intent_n about_o one_o thing_n we_o can_v have_v much_o room_n or_o leisure_n for_o thought_n of_o another_o nature_n but_o than_o five_o and_o last_o though_o this_o that_o i_o have_v say_v be_v the_o true_a nature_n of_o that_o power_n we_o have_v over_o our_o thought_n as_o to_o the_o direct_v they_o to_o a_o particular_a object_n yet_o there_o be_v another_o power_n we_o have_v over_o they_o that_o ought_v here_o more_o especial_o to_o be_v consider_v because_o in_o it_o be_v lay_v the_o very_a foundation_n of_o virtue_n and_o vice_n and_o upon_o account_n of_o it_o all_o our_o thought_n become_v either_o moral_o good_a or_o evil_n that_o which_o i_o mean_v be_v this_o though_o we_o can_v in_o many_o case_n think_v always_o of_o what_o we_o will_v nay_o though_o we_o can_v hinder_v abundance_n of_o thought_n from_o come_v into_o our_o mind_n against_o our_o will_n yet_o it_o be_v always_o in_o our_o power_n to_o assent_v to_o our_o thought_n or_o to_o deny_v our_o consent_n to_o they_o and_o here_o it_o be_v that_o the_o morality_n of_o our_o thought_n begin_v according_a as_o we_o assent_v or_o dissent_n to_o the_o motion_n that_o be_v make_v in_o our_o mind_n so_o will_v our_o thought_n have_v the_o notion_n of_o virtuous_a or_o sinful_a thought_n when_o any_o temptation_n be_v present_v to_o we_o from_o without_o we_o can_v perhaps_o as_o i_o say_v before_o avoid_v the_o feel_v a_o irregular_a passion_n or_o motion_n or_o inclination_n stir_v within_o we_o upon_o occasion_n thereof_o but_o yet_o at_o that_o very_a time_n it_o be_v in_o our_o power_n whether_o we_o will_v comply_v with_o those_o passion_n and_o inclination_n or_o not_o whether_o we_o will_v consent_v to_o they_o or_o not_o whether_o we_o will_v pursue_v they_o further_o worldly_a or_o sensual_a thing_n to_o attract_v a_o man_n mind_n what_o fetter_n there_o can_v be_v in_o they_o to_o bind_v his_o thought_n and_o tie_v they_o to_o themselves_o but_o that_o there_o be_v the_o same_o or_o great_a in_o virtue_n and_o goodness_n in_o the_o love_n and_o favour_n of_o god_n in_o a_o pure_a conscience_n here_o and_o eternal_a glory_n hereafter_o always_o provide_v that_o they_o be_v as_o much_o make_v the_o object_n of_o our_o choice_n and_o pursuit_n as_o the_o other_o and_o therefore_o i_o can_v but_o suspect_v where_o we_o see_v man_n so_o very_o cold_a
