shall_v ever_o remain_v as_o a_o man_n though_o through_o violent_a sickness_n he_o may_v run_v mad_a and_o frantic_a and_o lose_v the_o act_n of_o reason_n and_o be_v like_o a_o mad_a man_n yet_o the_o habit_n of_o reason_n be_v in_o he_o still_o because_o he_o have_v a_o reasonable_a soul_n and_o let_v the_o distemper_n be_v go_v and_o he_o will_v put_v forth_o the_o act_n of_o reason_n so_o a_o child_n of_o god_n though_o for_o the_o present_a he_o be_v horrible_o distemper_v and_o all_o the_o act_n of_o grace_n be_v asleep_a yet_o he_o have_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o he_o and_o therefore_o have_v the_o habit_n of_o grace_n although_o no_o grace_n be_v shine_v in_o david_n heart_n in_o the_o act_n of_o they_o when_o he_o fall_v into_o the_o sin_n of_o murder_n and_o adultery_n yet_o he_o have_v all_o grace_n in_o the_o habit_n of_o they_o in_o the_o root_n of_o they_o as_o a_o tree_n though_o it_o seem_v to_o be_v quite_o dead_a yet_o life_n be_v in_o the_o root_n so_o a_o child_n of_o god_n will_v have_v the_o habit_n and_o life_n of_o grace_n ever_o remain_v in_o he_o and_o this_o appear_v by_o two_o thing_n first_o a_o child_n of_o god_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o all_o his_o carelessness_n and_o negligence_n there_o be_v a_o miraculous_a preserve_n of_o that_o man_n that_o though_o that_o man_n have_v be_v very_o careless_a and_o wonderful_a unwatchful_a and_o expose_v himself_o to_o the_o temptation_n of_o satan_n yet_o he_o shall_v be_v strange_o keep_v that_o he_o shall_v not_o fall_v in_o a_o wonderful_a manner_n though_o it_o be_v no_o thank_n to_o himself_o 1_o sam._n 2.9_o this_o be_v a_o evident_a sign_n of_o god_n spirit_n in_o he_o that_o though_o he_o let_v he_o get_v abundance_n of_o knock_n yet_o he_o will_v not_o let_v the_o act_n of_o the_o spirit_n upon_o the_o soul_n can_v be_v discern_v but_o as_o the_o blind_a man_n say_v once_o i_o be_v blind_a but_o now_o i_o see_v so_o a_o man_n may_v say_v whereas_o i_o be_v deaf_a now_o i_o can_v hear_v the_o voice_n of_o god_n and_o happy_a be_v the_o man_n that_o can_v say_v this_o but_o the_o thing_n can_v be_v discern_v but_o at_o the_o same_o time_n when_o idle_a fellow_n let_v a_o man_n hold_v but_o a_o little_a ground_n twenty_o acre_n he_o may_v grow_v more_o rich_a upon_o it_o be_v a_o good_a husband_n than_o another_o man_n that_o hold_v twenty_o time_n as_o much_o and_o be_v a_o spend_v thrift_n and_o lazy_a and_o careless_a and_o never_o look_v how_o business_n go_v forward_o there_o be_v a_o blessing_n of_o god_n upon_o labour_n and_o industry_n as_o solomon_n say_v prov._n 13.11_o he_o that_o gather_v by_o labour_n shall_v increase_v so_o it_o be_v here_o it_o be_v not_o he_o that_o live_v under_o the_o best_a ministry_n that_o be_v most_o quicken_v but_o he_o that_o live_v under_o a_o poor_a ministry_n and_o be_v diligent_a he_o be_v better_a than_o hundred_o that_o live_v under_o the_o powerful_a preach_v of_o the_o word_n and_o never_o be_v careful_a to_o improve_v it_o it_o be_v note_v of_o john_n hearer_n that_o many_o of_o they_o have_v more_o life_n than_o they_o that_o sit_v under_o christ_n ministry_n it_o be_v note_v of_o job_n though_o he_o dwell_v in_o midian_a where_o be_v no_o mean_n of_o grace_n yet_o he_o have_v more_o grace_n and_o life_n in_o his_o heart_n then_o almost_o all_o the_o church_n of_o god_n that_o dwell_v in_o zion_n there_o be_v hardly_o a_o man_n in_o all_o israel_n like_o job_n paul_n though_o he_o come_v into_o the_o vineyard_n after_o all_o the_o apostle_n yet_o by_o his_o labour_n and_o diligence_n he_o get_v before_o most_o of_o they_o all_o so_o a_o man_n that_o sit_v under_o the_o ministry_n and_o take_v pain_n with_o his_o heart_n that_o the_o sermon_n he_o hear_v may_v do_v he_o good_a that_o he_o may_v be_v the_o better_a for_o they_o if_o a_o man_n labour_v to_o get_v good_a by_o the_o sacrament_n to_o get_v good_a by_o conference_n if_o he_o labour_v to_o and_o exercise_v they_o this_o be_v the_o way_n to_o quicken_v you_o let_v a_o man_n have_v but_o a_o little_a knowledge_n and_o let_v he_o exercise_v it_o and_o improve_v it_o and_o frame_v his_o life_n and_o conversation_n according_o knowledge_n shall_v be_v multiply_v to_o this_o man_n and_o so_o again_o let_v a_o man_n have_v any_o relent_n any_o melt_n now_o and_o then_o at_o a_o sermon_n and_o exercise_v these_o strike_v while_o the_o iron_n be_v hot_a and_o put_v they_o to_o the_o utmost_a this_o be_v the_o way_n to_o be_v quicken_v as_o it_o be_v the_o say_n of_o one_o every_o it_o be_v with_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n spirit_n peculiar_a and_o save_a grace_n and_o common_a grace_n let_v a_o man_n exercise_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n spirit_n this_o be_v the_o way_n to_o abound_v in_o they_o and_o to_o have_v they_o quicken_v and_o strengthen_v and_o make_v more_o and_o more_o operative_a in_o a_o man_n therefore_o let_v we_o exercise_v all_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n spirit_n and_o improve_v they_o all_o grace_n be_v like_o a_o snowball_n the_o more_o it_o be_v roll_v up_o and_o down_o the_o big_a it_o grow_v so_o let_v a_o man_n but_o go_v and_o improve_v all_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n spirit_n that_o he_o have_v bestow_v upon_o he_o there_o will_v be_v addition_n to_o every_o one_o of_o they_o by_o repent_v a_o man_n may_v learn_v to_o repent_v and_o by_o relent_v a_o man_n may_v learn_v to_o relent_v and_o by_o strive_v against_o sin_n he_o may_v learn_v to_o strive_v against_o sin_n more_o and_o more_o the_o last_o mean_n be_v to_o consider_v the_o example_n of_o the_o worthy_n in_o all_o age_n mean_n and_o such_o as_o be_v even_o in_o our_o day_n we_o shall_v consider_v these_o and_o these_o will_v quicken_v we_o up_o to_o be_v more_o forward_o year_n and_o six_o month_n etc._n etc._n consider_v this_o the_o zeal_n of_o other_o may_v provoke_v we_o special_o if_o we_o set_v it_o before_o our_o eye_n we_o shall_v think_v with_o ourselves_o what_o he_o so_o believe_v and_o i_o so_o full_a of_o doubt_v he_o so_o lively_a and_o i_o so_o dull_a and_o blockish_a he_o so_o affect_v and_o i_o so_o untoward_a this_o shall_v shame_v we_o and_o provoke_v we_o to_o stir_v up_o ourselves_o by_o look_v upon_o such_o especial_o upon_o those_o that_o have_v take_v up_o the_o profession_n since_o we_o do_v and_o yet_o have_v go_v beyond_o we_o it_o shall_v awaken_v we_o this_o be_v a_o excellent_a mean_n to_o quicken_v we_o as_o our_o saviour_n christ_n when_o he_o will_v exhort_v his_o disciple_n to_o suffer_v persecution_n say_v he_o consider_v the_o prophet_n that_o be_v persecute_v before_o you_o so_o if_o we_o will_v be_v quicken_v up_o 6._o we_o shall_v look_v upon_o the_o saint_n that_o have_v be_v quicken_v before_o we_o
