hope_n upon_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n and_o drive_v away_o all_o despair_n then_o begin_v a_o man_n to_o ask_v what_o shall_v i_o do_v then_o enquire_v he_o after_o the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o such_o a_o man_n that_o so_o ask_v be_v easy_a to_o be_v help_v soon_o be_v he_o heal_v that_o know_v his_o disease_n will_v fain_o be_v make_v whole_a unto_o such_o a_o man_n do_v the_o faithful_a with_o his_o heart_n that_o he_o believe_v in_o christ_n hold_v christ_n for_o his_o saviour_n and_o king_n must_v forsake_v his_o evil_a way_n eschue_v evil_a and_o do_v good_a jere._n 7.11_o isa_n 1_o ninive_n stand_v still_o upright_o when_o they_o take_v upon_o they_o true_a conversion_n and_o amendment_n as_o for_o jerusalem_n though_o they_o offer_v many_o sacrifice_n &_o fast_v much_o it_o help_v not_o because_o there_o be_v no_o true_a reformation_n and_o forsake_v of_o sin_n needs_o must_v they_o be_v destroy_v and_o miserable_o perish_v to_o botch_v or_o patch_v the_o matter_n it_o will_v not_o help_v there_o be_v no_o remedy_n we_o must_v become_v godly_a and_o virtuous_a of_o life_n it_o avail_v not_o to_o dissemble_v god_n look_v into_o the_o heart_n which_o he_o will_v have_v pure_a and_o unfeigned_a forasmuch_o then_o as_o we_o through_o baptism_n in_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n have_v receive_v christ_n and_o be_v mark_v out_o for_o he_o have_v once_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n through_o the_o grace_n and_o gift_n of_o christ_n let_v we_o be_v of_o a_o virtuous_a lfe_n walk_v innocent_o and_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n let_v we_o die_v therefore_o to_o the_o innocence_n which_o be_v restore_v unto_o we_o again_o through_o christ_n let_v we_o daily_o remember_v to_o harken_v &_o follow_v the_o admonishment_n of_o the_o spirit_n which_o teach_v we_o all_o good_a thing_n we_o be_v they_o unto_o who_o god_n have_v promise_v his_o grace_n of_o the_o spirit_n yea_o and_o unto_o our_o child_n also_o so_o far_o as_o we_o abide_v in_o his_o covenant_n let_v we_o thankful_o receive_v such_o excellent_a grace_n dear_a brethren_n be_v ware_n that_o we_o stain_v not_o the_o temple_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n deliver_v she_o from_o all_o adversity_n she_o love_v christ_n and_o in_o the_o behalf_n of_o his_o truth_n she_o strive_v until_o the_o death_n for_o see_v christ_n die_v for_o all_o it_o be_v meet_v that_o they_o which_o be_v his_o do_v follow_v his_o footstep_n to_o follow_v christ_n be_v nothing_o else_o than_o stout_o to_o suffer_v and_o overcome_v despite_n and_o poverty_n in_o this_o world_n for_o his_o sake_n and_o god_n true_o even_o in_o his_o wrath_n which_o we_o with_o our_o sin_n deserve_v can_v forget_v his_o mercy_n over_o and_o beside_o the_o manifold_a comfort_n and_o help_v truth_n innocent_o he_o suffer_v with_o a_o good_a conscience_n and_o with_o a_o upright_o mind_n no_o man_n in_o deed_n ought_v to_o put_v himself_o in_o danger_n arrogant_o wilful_o or_o for_o vainglory_n whereas_o peter_n ask_v a_o question_n concern_v the_o disciple_n who_o the_o lord_n love_v what_o he_o shall_v do_v it_o be_v a_o niceness_n and_o unprofitable_a curiosity_n that_o serve_v nothing_o to_o edification_n and_o therefore_o it_o please_v not_o the_o lord_n whatsoever_o edifi_v not_o that_o ought_v not_o we_o to_o desire_v of_o christ_n let_v every_o man_n look_v to_o himself_o wait_v upon_o his_o own_o business_n and_o office_n and_o not_o to_o be_v curious_a in_o another_o man_n matter_n whatsoever_o be_v not_o commit_v unto_o his_o charge_n and_o belong_v not_o unto_o he_o let_v he_o not_o meddle_v withal_o peter_n love_v christ_n so_o do_v he_o they_o also_o therefore_o ask_v he_o what_o shall_v become_v of_o he_o and_o whether_o he_o shall_v remain_v still_o ot_fw-mi thy_fw-mi for_o he_o be_v very_o loath_a and_o unwilling_a to_o depart_v from_o he_o and_o so_o he_o pass_v more_o upon_o john_n than_o upon_o the_o precept_n and_o commission_n of_o jesus_n christ_n such_o curious_a back_n look_v do_v the_o lord_n rebuke_n we_o many_o and_o sundry_a time_n do_v regard_n and_o esteem_v more_o the_o thing_n that_o we_o love_v than_o that_o which_o god_n command_v and_o bid_v us._n but_o such_o love_n be_v very_o hurtful_a and_o especial_o in_o those_o that_o shall_v be_v soul_n shepherd_n christ_n will_n be_v that_o they_o have_v respect_n to_o his_o work_n and_o commandment_n and_o with_o a_o fervent_a love_n to_o perform_v the_o same_o not_o meddle_v with_o other_o business_n not_o needful_a to_o inquire_v curious_o of_o other_o man_n matter_n bring_v not_o always_o profit_n but_o much_o rather_o unquietnes_n therefore_o christ_n remove_v peter_n from_o such_o curious_a question_n draw_v his_o mind_n unto_o a_o better_a thing_n namely_o to_o follow_v he_o as_o for_o that_o which_o he_o desire_v to_o know_v christ_n tell_v he_o that_o it_o be_v no_o point_n of_o his_o charge_n as_o if_o christ_n will_v say_v what_o have_v thou_o to_o do_v with_o other_o folk_n business_n thou_o have_v hear_v what_o i_o have_v command_v thou_o look_v that_o thou_o faithful_o do_v the_o same_o what_o inquire_v thou_o after_o other_o man_n matter_n thus_o look_v diligent_o and_o faithful_o to_o our_o own_o charge_n and_o expel_v the_o affection_n of_o the_o flesh_n we_o shall_v neither_o desire_v curious_o to_o ask_v any_o thing_n beyond_o the_o will_n of_o god_n neither_o to_o look_v upon_o any_o other_o man_n but_o upright_o to_o follow_v the_o lord_n here_o also_o we_o learn_v that_o in_o the_o commission_n and_o final_a departure_n of_o the_o faithful_a there_o be_v manifold_a difference_n some_o rest_n in_o the_o lord_n bless_o without_o any_o special_a heavy_a affliction_n but_o some_o it_o please_v god_n to_o bring_v through_o sore_a travail_n and_o exceed_a trouble_n lay_v the_o great_a burden_n upon_o he_o according_a as_o it_o be_v tell_v peter_n afore_o hand_n that_o he_o shall_v be_v crucify_v but_o not_o john_n they_o now_o that_o be_v admit_v to_o feed_v christ_n his_o sheep_n prepare_v themselves_o and_o be_v always_o ready_a without_o any_o curiosity_n to_o follow_v the_o will_n of_o god_n whereas_o john_n in_o the_o conclusion_n of_o his_o book_n refute_v the_o erroneous_a opinion_n of_o some_o it_o be_v a_o evidence_n of_o his_o meekness_n and_o sincerity_n it_o be_v not_o so_o speak_v of_o the_o lord_n say_v he_o that_o the_o same_o disciple_n shall_v not_o die_v whereby_o john_n confess_v that_o he_o himself_o also_o be_v mortal_a his_o writing_n will_v he_o have_v credit_v for_o he_o have_v write_v nothing_o save_o only_a the_o truth_n whereof_o he_o may_v well_o testify_v that_o which_o he_o have_v see_v yet_o say_v he_o have_v not_o write_v all_o but_o only_o that_o whereby_o we_o may_v obtain_v eternal_a life_n as_o we_o have_v hear_v sufficient_o afore_o the_o eleven_o disciple_n go_v away_o into_o galilee_n 28._o into_o a_o mountain_n whereas_o jesus_n together_o in_o uniform_a love_n which_o be_v a_o undoubted_a token_n of_o thy_o child_n it_o behoove_v jesus_n christ_n to_o suffer_v not_o for_o himself_o but_o for_o our_o sake_n to_o become_v the_o sacrifice_n for_o our_o sin_n that_o he_o so_o satisfy_v the_o justice_n of_o god_n may_v make_v amends_n for_o our_o trespass_n and_o deliver_v we_o from_o death_n it_o behoove_v he_o also_o to_o rise_v again_o that_o he_o by_o his_o power_n may_v raise_v we_o up_o from_o the_o death_n of_o sin_n to_o a_o new_a life_n &_o by_o his_o own_o resurrection_n to_o make_v we_o assure_v of_o we_o and_o of_o immortal_a life_n iesus_n come_v to_o his_o disciple_n and_o say_v unto_o they_o john_n to_o i_o be_v give_v all_o power_n in_o heaven_n &_o in_o earth_n as_o my_o father_n have_v send_v i_o so_o send_v i_o you_o and_o when_o he_o have_v thus_o speak_v he_o breathe_v upon_o they_o and_o say_v receive_v you_o the_o holy_a ghost_n who_o sin_n you_o forgive_v they_o be_v forgive_v and_o
