of_o mouth_n after_o a_o sort_n compel_v i_o to_o write_v it_o the_o sum_n and_o effect_n of_o all_o i_o have_v set_v down_o not_o in_o the_o same_o word_n i_o speak_v for_o the_o lord_n know_v i_o to_o be_v hope_v for_o by_o read_v the_o write_a sermon_n of_o his_o minister_n nevertheless_o i_o trust_v that_o he_o will_v bless_v the_o read_n hereof_o to_o the_o praise_n of_o his_o own_o name_n and_o pleasure_n than_o the_o fear_n favour_n &_o praise_v of_o god_n &_o commodity_n of_o his_o brethren_n see_v therefore_o that_o the_o life_n of_o these_o man_n consist_v in_o a_o show_n of_o godliness_n not_o in_o the_o power_n thereof_o in_o the_o outward_a work_n not_o in_o a_o acceptable_a manner_n of_o do_v in_o careless_a security_n not_o in_o a_o reverend_a fear_n to_o displease_v the_o sure_a hope_n of_o our_o promise_a inheritance_n and_o salvation_n let_v he_o therefore_o that_o stand_v both_o take_v heed_n lest_o he_o fall_v and_o labour_n also_o to_o become_v not_o only_o a_o continual_a eschewer_n of_o these_o evil_n but_o a_o new_a creature_n frame_v according_a to_o the_o image_n of_o christ_n but_o alas_o i_o fear_v i_o if_o all_o english_a protestant_n will_v of_o hypocrisy_n as_o no_o man_n be_v able_a to_o conceive_v in_o heart_n much_o less_o utter_a in_o word_n for_o than_o no_o doubt_n a_o great_a number_n will_v say_v all_o my_o religion_n be_v mere_a dissimulation_n all_o my_o glorious_a profession_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v nothing_o but_o a_o vain_a show_n of_o christianity_n yea_o my_o whole_a life_n try_v and_o weigh_v in_o the_o balance_n of_o god_n law_n be_v light_a than_o vanity_n itself_o and_o i_o will_v to_o god_n that_o we_o be_v all_o come_v to_o this_o humble_a and_o godly_a acknowledge_v as_o of_o all_o other_o our_o sin_n so_o especial_o of_o this_o secure_a and_o careless_a hypocrisy_n wherein_o almost_o all_o professor_n be_v so_o drown_v that_o except_o the_o most_o merciful_a god_n by_o his_o mighty_a and_o strong_a hand_n do_v raise_v they_o up_o by_o faith_n and_o repentance_n they_o shall_v perish_v everlasting_o without_o any_o hope_n of_o redemption_n now_o therefore_o dear_a brethren_n for_o the_o love_n of_o god_n let_v we_o not_o put_v our_o trust_n and_o confidence_n in_o these_o and_o such_o like_a lie_a word_n as_o to_o say_v the_o temple_n of_o the_o lord_n the_o temple_n of_o the_o can_v justify_v this_o outward_a profession_n of_o our_o faith_n to_o be_v sincere_a and_o pure_a by_o the_o integrity_n of_o our_o work_n our_o saviour_n christ_n tell_v we_o here_o that_o we_o shall_v never_o enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n thus_o much_o for_o the_o former_a sort_n of_o professor_n their_o manner_n of_o conversation_n &_o their_o final_a destruction_n contain_v in_o these_o word_n not_o every_o one_o that_o say_v unto_o i_o lord_n lord_n shall_v enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n now_o follow_v the_o second_o sort_n in_o these_o word_n but_o he_o that_o do_v the_o will_v of_o my_o heavenly_a father_n which_o be_v in_o heaven_n religion_n wherein_o christ_n describe_v the_o lawful_a heir_n of_o his_o father_n kingdom_n by_o their_o fruit_n
