which_o the_o law_n prescribe_v if_o he_o do_v not_o continue_v in_o do_v all_o the_o thing_n require_v but_o break_v the_o course_n of_o his_o obedience_n by_o any_o one_o sin_n though_o but_o of_o omission_n though_o but_o in_o thought_n he_o be_v notwithstanding_o all_o his_o obedience_n by_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o law_n not_o only_o a_o sinner_n but_o also_o accurse_v gal._n 3._o 10._o by_o this_o righteousness_n no_o man_n since_o the_o fall_n of_o adam_n can_v be_v say_v to_o be_v righteous_a christ_n only_o except_v but_o we_o have_v all_o need_n to_o pray_v with_o david_n forename_a apostle_n that_o we_o be_v sinner_n in_o ourselves_o and_o have_v need_v daily_o to_o pray_v as_o our_o saviour_n teach_v they_o for_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o so_o to_o appeal_v from_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o law_n to_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o gospel_n for_o the_o law_n have_v conclude_v all_o under_o sin_n that_o the_o promise_n by_o faith_n of_o jesus_n christ_n may_v be_v give_v to_o they_o that_o believe_v gal._n 3._o 22._o the_o evangelicall_n righteousness_n be_v that_o which_o be_v without_o the_o law_n be_v reveal_v in_o the_o gospel_n promise_v such_o thing_n as_o they_o do_v not_o mean_v to_o perform_v and_o bear_v the_o lord_n in_o hand_n that_o they_o be_v such_o man_n then_o who_o they_o be_v nothing_o less_o go_v about_o to_o deceive_v the_o lord_n with_o their_o mouth_n and_o with_o their_o lip_n speak_v lie_n unto_o he_o psal._n 78._o and_o in_o all_o their_o prayer_n and_o praise_n concern_v spiritual_a thing_n play_v the_o notorious_a hypocrite_n before_o god_n for_o the_o manifestation_n whereof_o let_v we_o take_v a_o brief_a survey_n of_o the_o lord_n prayer_n whereof_o the_o impenitent_a sinner_n be_v not_o able_a to_o utter_v one_o word_n aright_o and_o if_o not_o of_o that_o then_o of_o none_o for_o that_o be_v the_o sum_n of_o all_o first_o therefore_o they_o call_v god_n their_o father_n in_o void_a of_o christian_a charity_n seek_v only_o themselves_o and_o have_v no_o part_n in_o the_o communion_n of_o saint_n they_o direct_v their_o prayer_n to_o god_n who_o be_v in_o heaven_n infinite_a in_o majesty_n glory_n and_o power_n themselves_o be_v on_o earth_n vile_a and_o base_a creature_n eccles_n 5._o as_o if_o they_o come_v in_o great_a humility_n in_o respect_n of_o their_o own_o unworthiness_n and_o reverence_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o glorious_a majesty_n of_o god_n whereas_o indeed_o they_o rush_v into_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n with_o less_o regard_n and_o speak_v unto_o he_o with_o less_o reverence_n than_o they_o will_v to_o a_o mortal_a man_n who_o be_v but_o a_o little_a their_o superior_a they_o call_v he_o father_n note_v his_o love_n which_o be_v grace_n may_v be_v advance_v and_o that_o god_n will_v rule_v and_o reign_v in_o they_o by_o his_o spirit_n according_a to_o his_o word_n when_o they_o be_v in_o the_o number_n of_o those_o who_o say_v we_o will_v not_o have_v this_o man_n to_o reign_v over_o we_o resist_v the_o spirit_n and_o cast_v the_o word_n behind_o their_o back_n they_o pray_v that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n may_v be_v hasten_v by_o the_o speedy_a come_n of_o christ_n unto_o judgement_n and_o yet_o desire_v nothing_o less_o than_o the_o second_o come_v of_o christ._n they_o desire_v that_o god_n will_v may_v be_v do_v which_o themselves_o will_v not_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n be_v their_o conversion_n and_o sanctification_n that_o they_o shall_v abstain_v from_o those_o sin_n whereunto_o they_o be_v more_o special_o addict_v but_o though_o they_o know_v it_o to_o be_v the_o will_n of_o god_n that_o they_o shall_v turn_v unto_o he_o they_o will_v not_o turn_v that_o they_o shall_v leave_v their_o special_a sin_n they_o will_v not_o leave_v they_o as_o the_o drunkard_n his_o drunkenness_n the_o whoremaster_n his_o fornication_n etc._n etc._n and_o yet_o like_o egregious_a hypocrite_n do_v pray_v that_o they_o may_v do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n as_o it_o be_v do_v in_o heaven_n that_o be_v after_o a_o angelical_a manner_n ready_o cheerful_o speedy_o upright_o faithful_o constant_o full_o when_o as_o in_o truth_n they_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n no_o otherwise_o then_o the_o devil_n in_o hell_n which_o howsoever_o in_o respect_n of_o their_o intent_n rebel_v against_o the_o will_n of_o god_n yet_o if_o you_o respect_v the_o event_n they_o become_v maugre_o their_o spite_n the_o instrument_n to_o bring_v to_o pass_v that_o which_o god_n have_v will_v and_o decree_v they_o they_o crave_v daily_a bread_n or_o as_o the_o word_n signify_v such_o a_o portion_n of_o temporal_a blessing_n as_o god_n shall_v judge_v most_o expedient_a for_o they_o as_o if_o they_o mean_v not_o to_o be_v their_o own_o carver_n but_o in_o these_o outward_a thing_n resign_v themselves_o into_o the_o hand_n
