the_o slaughter_n for_o when_o the_o lord_n let_v in_o the_o horror_n of_o his_o wrath_n into_o the_o soul_n all_o those_o blessing_n come_v to_o nothing_o and_o be_v forget_v because_o the_o heart_n have_v god_n in_o a_o jealousy_n and_o think_v that_o god_n only_o fat_v he_o to_o the_o slaughter_n and_o to_o ruinate_v he_o for_o ever_o whereas_o the_o lord_n can_v as_o well_o destroy_v he_o love_n and_o joy_n the_o soul_n that_o be_v loosen_v from_o all_o the_o cause_n of_o jar_n and_o dissension_n between_o christ_n and_o he_o that_o soul_n be_v ready_a to_o match_v with_o the_o promise_n and_o to_o bestow_v itself_o in_o love_n upon_o christ_n in_o a_o marriage_n a_o man_n must_v know_v the_o party_n first_o and_o the_o portion_n and_o understand_v both_o or_o else_o he_o can_v love_v neither_o so_o thou_o must_v see_v the_o beauty_n and_o excellency_n of_o the_o promise_n before_o thou_o can_v love_v the_o lord_n jesus_n as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o base_a affection_n the_o covetous_a man_n see_v a_o good_a bargain_n before_o he_o love_v it_o so_o that_o it_o be_v the_o eye_n that_o make_v the_o bargain_n as_o one_o well_o observe_v so_o thou_o must_v look_v wise_o with_o violence_n towards_o he_o there_o be_v three_o thing_n that_o ought_v main_o to_o be_v respect_v in_o the_o promise_n that_o we_o may_v eye_n and_o apprehend_v and_o that_o our_o heart_n may_v be_v kindle_v with_o love_n to_o the_o lord_n and_o these_o three_o work_n love_v any_o where_o first_o the_o worth_n of_o the_o party_n in_o himself_o second_o the_o desert_n of_o the_o party_n three_o the_o readiness_n of_o the_o party_n in_o himself_o to_o seek_v our_o good_a he_o three_o thing_n in_o christ_n to_o make_v we_o love_v he_o so_o it_o be_v with_o the_o lord_n jesus_n first_o he_o be_v worthy_a of_o our_o love_n in_o himself_o consider_v second_o he_o have_v deserve_v it_o three_o he_o seek_v our_o love_n thou_o that_o dwell_v in_o a_o poor_a cottage_n will_v hardly_o believe_v this_o but_o i_o say_v he_o seek_v thy_o love_n first_o christ_n be_v worthy_a in_o himself_o i_o wonder_v that_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n will_v suffer_v himself_o to_o be_v belove_v by_o such_o wretch_n as_o we_o be_v if_o we_o have_v a_o thousand_o heart_n to_o bestow_v upon_o he_o we_o be_v never_o able_a to_o love_v he_o sufficient_o for_o as_o nehemiah_n say_v 9.5_o nehem._n
