these_o word_n of_o fast_v and_o mourn_v indifferent_o to_o signify_v the_o same_o thing_n for_o be_v demand_v why_o his_o disciple_n fast_v not_o he_o say_v can_v the_o child_n of_o the_o marriage_n chamber_n mourn_v as_o long_o as_o the_o bridegroom_n be_v with_o they_o but_o the_o day_n will_v come_v when_o the_o bridegroom_n shall_v be_v take_v from_o they_o and_o then_o shall_v they_o fast_v for_o further_a evidence_n whereof_o 5.34_o we_o may_v observe_v that_o where_o matthew_n use_v the_o word_n mourn_v the_o other_o evangelist_n have_v fast_o and_o to_o the_o same_o purpose_n when_o he_o so_o also_o upon_o the_o gracious_a promise_n of_o god_n make_v unto_o we_o in_o christ_n and_o namely_o and_o especial_o upon_o this_o promise_n call_v upon_o i_o in_o the_o day_n of_o trouble_n and_o i_o will_v deliver_v thou_o which_o promise_v of_o god_n if_o we_o can_v find_v in_o our_o heart_n to_o believe_v to_o what_o purpose_n shall_v we_o pray_v we_o be_v therefore_o to_o pray_v in_o faith_n 8.28_o and_o thereby_o to_o comfort_v ourselves_o in_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n and_o to_o rest_v quiet_o in_o his_o good_a will_n and_o pleasure_n assure_v ourselves_o that_o god_n will_v cause_v all_o thing_n to_o work_v together_o for_o the_o good_a of_o those_o that_o do_v love_v he_o last_o 2._o we_o must_v pray_v with_o perseverance_n and_o without_o faint_v as_o our_o saviour_n teach_v we_o by_o the_o parable_n of_o the_o widow_n and_o the_o judge_n luke_n 18._o and_o therefore_o we_o must_v not_o think_v that_o every_o delay_n be_v a_o final_a repulse_n but_o by_o the_o delay_n of_o the_o benefit_n which_o we_o ask_v our_o desire_n of_o obtain_v it_o shall_v be_v increase_v and_o hereunto_o belong_v the_o exhortation_n of_o the_o apostle_n rom._n 12._o col._n 4._o of_o our_o want_n with_o fervency_n of_o desire_n to_o have_v our_o want_n supply_v and_o our_o request_n grant_v with_o assurance_n of_o faith_n ground_v on_o the_o mediation_n of_o christ_n and_o on_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n and_o last_o with_o perseverance_n and_o patience_n without_o faint_v or_o circumscribe_v of_o god_n to_o wait_v upon_o he_o for_o his_o mercy_n to_o be_v exhibit_v
