the_o church_n the_o babylonian_a persian_a greek_a roman_a and_o jewish_a antiquity_n and_o such_o other_o part_n of_o learning_n without_o which_o many_o place_n of_o scripture_n can_v be_v well_o understand_v and_o that_o you_o may_v be_v thus_o diligent_a in_o prayer_n and_o in_o read_v and_o study_v the_o holy_a scripture_n four_o you_o promise_v to_o lay_v aside_o the_o study_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o flesh_n for_o the_o more_o you_o study_v the_o world_n the_o less_o will_v you_o study_v the_o holy_a scripture_n the_o more_o you_o consult_v the_o ease_n and_o pleasure_n of_o the_o flesh_n the_o less_o will_v you_o attend_v to_o the_o please_a of_o god_n and_o the_o save_n of_o soul_n in_o what_o degree_n soever_o your_o affection_n be_v set_v upon_o the_o thing_n on_o the_o earth_n in_o that_o they_o will_v necessary_o be_v take_v off_o from_o the_o thing_n above_o o_o remember_v that_o every_o clergyman_n be_v a_o man_n of_o god_n dedicate_v to_o he_o in_o a_o more_o eminent_a service_n than_o other_o be_v and_o that_o you_o rob_v god_n of_o all_o that_o time_n and_o study_n which_o be_v needless_o spend_v upon_o other_o matter_n remember_v that_o you_o be_v oblige_v not_o only_o by_o your_o baptismal_a vow_n to_o renounce_v the_o world_n and_o the_o flesh_n as_o lay_v christian_n also_o be_v but_o more_o close_o bind_v to_o it_o than_o they_o by_o
