private_a and_o from_o all_o holy_a and_o godly_a zeal_n for_o his_o name_n in_o public_a and_o there_o be_v many_o professor_n who_o heart_n be_v possess_v with_o this_o ungodly_a fear_n of_o god_n and_o they_o be_v intend_v by_o the_o slothful_a one_o he_o be_v a_o servant_n a_o servant_n among_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n and_o have_v gift_n and_o ability_n give_v he_o therewith_o to_o serve_v christ_n as_o well_o as_o his_o fellow_n yea_o and_o be_v command_v too_o as_o well_o as_o the_o rest_n to_o occupy_v till_o his_o master_n come_v but_o what_o do_v he_o why_o he_o take_v his_o strength_n against_o sin_n but_o i_o will_v have_v they_o fear_v with_o the_o reverential_a fear_n of_o son_n and_o that_o be_v the_o way_n to_o depart_v from_o evil_n quest._n how_o be_v that_o answ._n why_o have_v before_o receive_v the_o spirit_n of_o adoption_n still_o to_o believe_v that_o he_o be_v our_o father_n and_o so_o to_o fear_v with_o the_o fear_n of_o child_n not_o as_o slave_n fear_v a_o tyrant_n i_o will_v therefore_o have_v they_o to_o look_v upon_o his_o rod_n rebuke_n chide_n and_o chastizement_n and_o also_o upon_o the_o wrath_n wherewith_o he_o do_v inflict_v to_o of_o fear_n for_o without_o that_o be_v indeed_o in_o the_o heart_n the_o word_n will_v not_o produce_v that_o good_a selfdenial_n in_o we_o that_o here_o you_o find_v this_o good_a man_n to_o live_v in_o the_o daily_a exercise_n of_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n therefore_o that_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o his_o self-denial_n be_v this_o grace_n of_o fear_n in_o his_o heart_n this_o make_v he_o to_o so_o secure_o in_o the_o way_n eleven_o there_o flow_v from_o this_o grace_n of_o fear_n hope_v in_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n the_o lord_n take_v pleasure_n in_o they_o that_o fear_v he_o in_o they_o to_o the_o word_n to_o this_o way_n therefore_o the_o sinner_n with_o this_o godly_a fear_n submit_v his_o soul_n roll_v himself_o upon_o it_o and_o so_o be_v deliver_v from_o that_o death_n into_o which_o other_o for_o want_n of_o this_o fear_n of_o god_n do_v headlong_o fall_v it_o be_v as_o i_o also_o hint_v before_o the_o nature_n of_o godly_a fear_n to_o be_v very_o much_o put_v the_o for_o that_o will_v hinder_v thy_o growth_n in_o this_o grace_n why_o have_v thou_o harden_v our_o heart_n from_o thy_o fear_n isa._n 63.17_o be_v a_o bitter_a complaint_n of_o the_o church_n heretofore_o for_o it_o be_v not_o only_o the_o judgement_n that_o in_o itself_o be_v dreadful_a and_o sore_o to_o god_n people_n but_o that_o which_o great_o hinder_v the_o growth_n of_o this_o grace_n in_o the_o soul._n a_o hard_a heart_n be_v but_o barren_a ground_n for_o any_o grace_n to_o grow_v in_o special_o for_o the_o grace_n of_o fear_n there_o be_v but_o little_a of_o this_o fear_n
