settle_a faith_n in_o we_o and_o faith_n not_o be_v produce_v and_o settle_v it_o can_v produce_v these_o effect_n and_o mark_n as_o be_v requisite_a thereunto_o i_o have_v insist_v the_o long_a on_o save_v four_o a_o four_o mean_v or_o help_v of_o humiliation_n be_v to_o consider_v serious_o of_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n a_o point_n also_o that_o we_o can_v never_o sufficient_o comprehend_v people_n apprehend_v the_o lord_n to_o be_v infinite_o merciful_a and_o so_o he_o be_v but_o for_o his_o justice_n they_o esteem_v nothing_o so_o of_o it_o as_o if_o he_o be_v not_o infinite_o just_a also_o every_o thing_n in_o god_n be_v infinite_a and_o therefore_o he_o be_v just_a must_v of_o necessity_n be_v infinite_a in_o his_o justice_n and_o so_o his_o justice_n think_v we_o of_o it_o what_o we_o will_v pass_v our_o deep_a apprehension_n take_v heed_n unto_o this_o you_o that_o think_v the_o lord_n be_v all_o mercy_n the_o lord_n mercy_n be_v wonderful_a great_a god_n forbid_v it_o sensible_a although_o it_o be_v secret_a further_o especial_o in_o the_o beginning_n of_o christianity_n it_o be_v not_o sensible_a for_o the_o understanding_n whereof_o consider_v that_o there_o be_v three_o sort_n of_o motive_n of_o obedience_n 1._o one_o altogether_o wrong_a have_v no_o eye_n to_o god_n so_o to_o eschew_v the_o ill_a opinion_n of_o man_n many_o do_v sundry_a good_a duty_n and_o become_v neighbour_n like_o in_o outward_a duty_n of_o outward_a obedience_n other_o to_o win_v the_o praise_n of_o man_n will_v go_v beyond_o their_o neighbour_n yea_o possible_o beyond_o good_a christian_n there_o be_v sundry_a other_o by-respect_n and_o many_o by-road_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o natural_a man_n and_o hypocrite_n the_o second_o sort_n of_o motive_n be_v that_o which_o be_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o begin_v christian_n which_o be_v not_o altogether_o right_a and_o yet_o some_o way_n right_a as_o introductorie_n to_o right_n as_o have_v a_o eye_n to_o god_n and_o as_o join_v with_o some_o weak_a faith_n and_o some_o insensible_a love_n this_o be_v the_o motive_n of_o fear_n flow_v from_o the_o spirit_n of_o bondage_n which_o have_v take_v a_o deep_a impression_n in_o they_o and_o their_o faith_n be_v but_o weak_a and_o stagger_a as_o yet_o prevail_v with_o they_o and_o be_v the_o most_o sensible_a motive_n that_o put_v they_o on_o they_o do_v because_o they_o dare_v not_o do_v otherwise_o because_o they_o fear_v god_n justice_n and_o have_v a_o waken_n in_o their_o own_o conscience_n and_o yet_o this_o be_v not_o altogether_o wrong_a for_o the_o respect_n aforesaid_a for_o why_o do_v the_o lord_n denounce_v so_o many_o threaten_n and_o judgement_n but_o for_o this_o and_o that_o all_o these_o shall_v have_v their_o own_o place_n with_o we_o yea_o why_o be_v our_o obedience_n so_o often_o waken_v up_o by_o rod_n cross_n and_o affliction_n if_o this_o sort_n of_o fear_n be_v altogether_o wrong_a but_o as_o faith_n and_o love_n grow_v strong_a by_o little_a and_o little_o they_o cast_v out_o fear_v and_o so_o come_v the_o three_o motive_n even_o that_o acceptable_a motive_n of_o love_n this_o be_v that_o which_o st._n john_n 1.4_o v._o 18._o have_v pâ—â—fect_a love_n cast_v out_o fear_n and_o again_o he_o that_o fear_v be_v not_o make_v perfect_a in_o love_n so_o that_o to_o work_v out_o of_o fear_n do_v not_o argue_v no_o love_n and_o either_o work_v not_o at_o all_o or_o if_o thou_o do_v any_o thing_n it_o arise_v from_o wrong_a motive_n and_o end_n from_o custom_n and_o not_o from_o conscience_n to_o please_v man_n and_o not_o peace_n and_o joy_n for_o peace_n be_v justify_v by_o faith_n we_o have_v peace_n with_o god_n through_o jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n for_o joy_n in_o who_o believe_v we_o rejoice_v with_o joy_n unspeakable_a and_o glorious_a and_o both_o together_o rom._n 15.13_o now_o the_o god_n of_o hope_n fill_v you_o with_o jâ—y_n and_o peace_n in_o believe_v q._n but_o have_v not_o the_o wicked_a and_o and_o plain_o by_o these_o two_o 1._o the_o peace_n of_o the_o believer_n be_v after_o great_a unquietness_n and_o trouble_n and_o much_o hard_a war_n as_o we_o say_v ere_o he_o get_v unto_o it_o as_o we_o see_v in_o paul_n the_o jailor_n the_o convert_v in_o the_o act_n and_o these_o say_n come_v unto_o i_o all_o you_o that_o be_v weary_a and_o lade_v the_o whole_a need_v not_o the_o physician_n but_o they_o that_o be_v sick_a thus_o fare_v it_o with_o many_o yea_o in_o all_o there_o must_v be_v something_o of_o this_o kind_n else_o this_o peace_n and_o christ_n the_o prince_n of_o peace_n and_o purchaser_n of_o this_o peace_n can_v never_o be_v either_o sufficient_o seek_v to_o or_o prize_v but_o the_o natural_a man_n peace_n have_v be_v a_o continual_a peace_n a_o token_n that_o the_o strong_a man_n be_v not_o yet_o cast_v out_o for_o he_o will_v not_o be_v cast_v out_o without_o some_o sensible_a unquietness_n a_o token_n that_o the_o new_a birth_n have_v not_o be_v for_o it_o will_v not_o be_v without_o some_o pain_n q._n but_o may_v not_o even_o a_o natural_a man_n have_v a_o touch_n of_o conscience_n and_o afterward_o fall_v into_o security_n instead_o of_o a_o true_a peace_n a._n he_o may_v and_o therefore_o a_o man_n shall_v look_v how_o his_o peace_n have_v be_v purchase_v how_o he_o carry_v himself_o in_o the_o time_n of_o his_o unquietness_n if_o he_o betake_v he_o to_o wrong_v mean_n and_o by_o they_o do_v strive_v to_o smother_v and_o drive_v away_o his_o unquietness_n and_o not_o to_o the_o right_a mean_n of_o the_o word_n and_o prayer_n to_o cure_v natural_a man_n peace_n and_o the_o believer_n peace_n the_o natural_a man_n as_o he_o have_v always_o peace_n so_o he_o have_v altogether_o and_o in_o all_o respect_v peace_n but_o the_o believer_n be_v not_o so_o he_o have_v peace_n with_o god_n but_o not_o with_o the_o devil_n peace_n in_o regard_n of_o the_o guiltiness_n of_o sin_n i_o mean_v in_o regard_n of_o the_o main_a battle_n but_o the_o terror_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v 2_o cor._n 5.11_o that_o as_o we_o use_v to_o say_v like_o the_o burn_a child_n they_o may_v dread_v the_o fire_n of_o sin_n and_o god_n refuge_n to_o the_o hope_n that_o be_v set_v before_o they_o hebr._n 6.18_o there_o be_v also_o two_o other_o special_a end_n and_o effect_n of_o a_o sufficient_a work_n of_o humiliation_n to_o wit_n to_o produce_v in_o we_o true_a patience_n in_o adversity_n and_o true_a thankfulness_n for_o benefit_n and_o favour_n you_o may_v also_o try_v the_o sufficiency_n of_o your_o humiliation_n by_o these_o a_o man_n not_o true_o humble_v will_v never_o be_v patient_a will_v never_o be_v thankful_a but_o on_o the_o contrary_a one_o who_o have_v be_v true_o humble_v with_o the_o sight_n of_o his_o own_o deserve_n in_o his_o great_a adversity_n he_o will_v acknowledge_v with_o ezra_n that_o the_o lord_n have_v punish_v he_o less_o than_o he_o deserve_v and_o again_o with_o the_o prophet_n i_o will_v bear_v the_o indignation_n of_o the_o lord_n because_o i_o have_v sin_v against_o he_o and_o as_o for_o thankfulness_n he_o be_v a_o admirer_n of_o the_o lord_n goodness_n for_o he_o do_v hearty_o and_o humble_o acknowledge_v with_o jacob_n that_o he_o be_v not_o worthy_a of_o the_o least_o of_o his_o mercy_n yea_o that_o it_o be_v unspeakable_a favour_n that_o he_o be_v free_a from_o deserve_a judgement_n it_o be_v of_o the_o lord_n mercy_n that_o we_o be_v not_o consume_v lam._n 3.22_o q._n what_o you_o have_v speak_v about_o the_o degree_n of_o humiliation_n and_o the_o kind_n of_o it_o i_o acknowledge_v it_o to_o be_v good_a and_o comfortable_a only_o this_o instead_o of_o all_o i_o will_v say_v unto_o you_o this_o i_o find_v to_o be_v my_o case_n i_o see_v its_o true_a my_o own_o sinfulness_n and_o manifold_a great_a corruption_n as_o also_o my_o gracelessness_n and_o manifold_a want_n and_o be_o humble_v therewith_o but_o as_o for_o to_o be_v humble_v with_o the_o sense_n of_o my_o own_o guiltiness_n though_o i_o see_v it_o to_o be_v very_o great_a i_o must_v confess_v that_o i_o can_v come_v up_o to_o this_o so_o that_o set_v aside_o the_o kind_n or_o degree_n of_o my_o humiliation_n i_o fear_v that_o i_o have_v never_o be_v humble_v at_o all_o a._n this_o be_v a_o case_n that_o many_o of_o god_n child_n have_v be_v exercise_v with_o but_o let_v we_o see_v what_o be_v to_o be_v say_v to_o it_o 1._o thou_o accknowledge_v a_o sight_n and_o some_o sense_n a_o take_n to_o heart_n thy_o own_o corruption_n well_o then_o thou_o have_v some_o interest_n in_o that_o the_o while_o need_v not_o the_o physician_n but_o they_o that_o be_v sick_a thou_o confess_v the_o like_a of_o want_n so_o that_o thou_o have_v interest_n in_o that_o bless_v be_v the_o poor_a in_o spirit_n thou_o be_v in_o some_o better_a case_n than_o those_o of_o landâ—â—a_n well_o then_o that_o thou_o be_v not_o altogether_o behind_o with_o it_o bless_v the_o lord_n for_o what_o thou_o have_v but_o to_o go_v on_o to_o the_o point_n in_o hand_n observe_v diligent_o that_o the_o manner_n and_o the_o mean_n how_o the_o lord_n work_v this_o first_o and_o ground_n work_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o his_o child_n by_o the_o experience_n and_o observation_n of_o god_n child_n who_o have_v be_v acquaint_v with_o it_o be_v twofold_a for_o first_o the_o work_n be_v direct_o upon_o the_o conscience_n touch_v with_o the_o sense_n of_o guiltiness_n and_o trouble_v with_o that_o especial_o when_o a_o man_n sin_n be_v set_v in_o order_n before_o he_o and_o god_n wrath_n and_o justice_n against_o they_o his_o conscience_n write_v bitter_a thing_n against_o he_o second_o lie_v sometime_o again_o the_o work_n be_v not_o so_o direct_v upon_o the_o conscience_n
against_o it_o judge_v thyself_o for_o it_o thou_o have_v reason_n indeed_o to_o sorrow_n for_o it_o but_o not_o to_o despair_v or_o be_v discourage_v yea_o rather_o get_v more_o faith_n that_o thou_o may_v get_v a_o further_a victory_n and_o purification_n and_o three_o for_o that_o predominant_a corruption_n that_o thou_o can_v not_o get_v ride_v of_o but_o in_o all_o thy_o do_n it_o cleave_v unto_o thou_o pollute_v thy_o best_a service_n this_o shall_v not_o discourage_v thou_o for_o 1._o this_o be_v the_o case_n of_o god_n child_n they_o have_v sin_n that_o hang_v fast_o on_o they_o yea_o even_a paul_n say_v when_o i_o will_v do_v good_a evil_a be_v present_a with_o i_o and_o cry_v out_o against_o the_o body_n of_o death_n and_o 2._o but_o if_o thou_o fall_v out_o with_o and_o loath_a thy_o sin_n if_o thou_o regard_v it_o not_o if_o thou_o judge_v thyself_o for_o it_o fear_v not_o thou_o shall_v not_o be_v judge_v for_o it_o if_o thou_o cry_v to_o god_n against_o it_o thou_o shall_v not_o be_v find_v guilty_a no_o more_o than_o the_o woman_n under_o the_o law_n it_o be_v not_o thou_o but_o sin_n that_o dwell_v in_o thou_o if_o thou_o think_v it_o strange_a that_o the_o lord_n shall_v exercise_v thou_o with_o such_o strong_a corruption_n so_o displease_v to_o himself_o he_o do_v it_o for_o good_a end_n 1._o to_o cure_v a_o more_o dangerous_a corruption_n to_o bring_v thou_o out_o of_o conceit_n of_o thy_o own_o righteousness_n to_o chase_v thou_o to_o his_o christ_n for_o expiation_n and_o to_o the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o mortification_n of_o corruption_n to_o exercise_v thou_o in_o prayer_n and_o in_o thy_o christian_a warfare_n be_v it_o not_o for_o this_o we_o will_v not_o so_o often_o and_o so_o full_o feel_v the_o necessity_n and_o sweetness_n of_o christ_n suffering_n intercession_n and_o righteousness_n we_o will_v not_o make_v so_o much_o of_o the_o sanctify_a subdue_a power_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n nor_o have_v so_o oft_o recourse_n unto_o it_o where_o will_v be_v the_o exercise_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o patience_n about_o the_o performance_n of_o the_o promise_n of_o sanctification_n what_o will_v stir_v we_o up_o to_o fervent_a and_o sincere_a prayer_n where_o shall_v be_v the_o matter_n of_o our_o christian_a warfare_n obj._n i_o do_v not_o find_v the_o hatred_n and_o loathe_n of_o sin_n and_o this_o do_v puzzle_v i_o in_o this_o point_n i_o find_v indeed_o that_o i_o do_v not_o entertain_v it_o but_o i_o think_v it_o to_o be_v more_o out_o of_o fear_n of_o punishment_n than_o out_o of_o hatred_n of_o sin_n a._n do_v not_o thy_o heart_n rise_v against_o sin_n even_o in_o other_o to_o who_o sin_n thou_o be_v not_o accessary_a which_o can_v flow_v from_o fear_n but_o from_o hatred_n yea_o do_v thou_o not_o hate_v those_o who_o be_v profain_o and_o wicked_a although_o they_o have_v other_o recommend_v and_o insinuate_a part_n as_o on_o the_o contrary_a thou_o love_v those_o who_o be_v good_a and_o holy_a say_v not_o then_o that_o thou_o be_v altogether_o void_a of_o this_o point_n of_o the_o hatred_n of_o sin_n further_o though_o we_o find_v not_o all_o that_o we_o will_v have_v yet_o shall_v not_o we_o fail_v to_o be_v both_o thankful_a and_o encourage_v in_o regard_n of_o the_o thing_n that_o we_o find_v the_o lord_n give_v we_o to_o find_v many_o thing_n that_o we_o may_v be_v exercise_v in_o thankfulness_n and_o to_o miss_v some_o thing_n that_o we_o may_v be_v exercise_v in_o prayer_n pray_v then_o that_o the_o lord_n more_o and_o more_o will_v make_v thou_o partaker_n of_o his_o divine_a nature_n and_o of_o his_o holiness_n that_o so_o the_o hatred_n of_o sin_n may_v grow_v more_o and_o more_o sensible_a in_o you_o for_o he_o be_v of_o pure_a eye_n than_o that_o he_o can_v behold_v iniquity_n hab._n 1.13_o he_o love_v righteousness_n and_o hate_v wickedness_n psa_n 55.7_o a_o four_o mark_v faith_n work_v by_o love_n wherefore_o observe_v two_o thing_n of_o faith_n 1._o that_o it_o work_v it_o be_v operative_a and_o not_o idle_a it_o bring_v with_o it_o a_o spiritual_a life_n unto_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n and_o this_o spiritual_a life_n bring_v out_o spiritual_a operation_n when_o faith_n be_v put_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o man_n there_o be_v a_o stir_a disposition_n put_v in_o his_o heart_n also_o he_o be_v not_o his_o own_o man_n in_o his_o own_o element_n find_v not_o quietness_n in_o his_o mind_n unless_o he_o be_v sometime_o work_v and_o well_o employ_v faith_n ever_o work_v towards_o god_n i_o mean_v immediate_o for_o all_o our_o work_n be_v to_o he_o as_o to_o our_o last_o end_n in_o be_v about_o the_o point_n of_o his_o worship_n in_o obey_v his_o acceptable_a will_n in_o glorify_v his_o name_n advance_v his_o kingdom_n see_v to_o the_o do_v of_o his_o will_n by_o other_o so_o far_o as_o opportunity_n and_o our_o calling_n permit_v sometime_o towards_o ourselves_o in_o that_o great_a work_n of_o our_o salvation_n sometime_o towards_o our_o neighbour_n in_o the_o work_n of_o charity_n yea_o of_o spiritual_a charity_n so_o necessary_a and_o so_o often_o recommend_v exhort_v instruct_v edify_v comfort_n admonish_v one_o another_o and_o yet_o neglect_v much_o want_n of_o compassion_n to_o the_o poor_a soul_n so_o their_o faith_n be_v ever_o work_v which_o clear_o cut_v off_o those_o who_o please_v themselves_o that_o they_o abstain_v from_o ill_a yea_o from_o some_o few_o gross_a ill_n that_o they_o be_v no_o thief_n murderer_n adulterer_n etc._n etc._n although_o they_o never_o do_v a_o good_a deed_n not_o remember_v the_o doom_n of_o the_o unfruitful_a tree_n and_o unprofitable_a servant_n but_o second_o as_o it_o work_v so_o it_o work_v by_o love_n there_o be_v much_o work_n upon_o wrong_a motive_n which_o be_v all_o lose_a labour_n like_o build_v without_o a_o foundation_n there_o be_v nothing_o we_o shall_v look_v more_o unto_o then_o this_o what_o be_v the_o motive_n of_o our_o obedience_n for_o it_o be_v the_o thing_n the_o lord_n look_v most_o unto_o he_o ponder_v the_o heart_n yea_o do_v not_o man_n so_o also_o if_o he_o can_v know_v it_o now_o the_o motive_n most_o acceptable_a to_o god_n the_o disposition_n and_o affection_n of_o the_o heart_n which_o he_o require_v which_o be_v here_o a_o mark_n of_o faith_n be_v the_o motive_n of_o love_n the_o lord_n care_v not_o a_o whit_n for_o our_o obedience_n if_o it_o come_v not_o from_o love_n yea_o he_o reckon_v it_o not_o for_o obedience_n therefore_o love_n be_v the_o sum_n of_o the_o law_n it_o fulfil_v the_o law_n it_o be_v the_o end_n of_o the_o law_n even_o love_v out_o of_o a_o puâ—â—_n heart_n etc._n etc._n he_o show_v mercy_n unto_o thousand_o of_o they_o that_o love_v he_o and_o keep_v his_o commandment_n if_o i_o give_v my_o body_n to_o be_v burn_v and_o bestow_v all_o my_o good_n upon_o the_o poor_a without_o love_n it_o profit_v nothing_o love_n be_v the_o soul_n the_o salt_n of_o all_o obedience_n and_o without_o it_o it_o be_v but_o a_o dead_a unsavoury_a carcase_n hence_o be_v it_o that_o the_o lord_n do_v begin_v his_o law_n the_o sum_n of_o all_o our_o obedience_n with_o the_o remembrance_n and_o the_o rehearsal_n of_o a_o main_a temporal_a favour_n and_o deliverance_n typify_a a_o far_o great_a even_o that_o great_a salvation_n which_o show_v that_o he_o will_v have_v the_o obedience_n render_v unto_o his_o commandment_n to_o flow_v from_o love_n this_o be_v also_o the_o way_n of_o the_o gospel_n even_o the_o way_n of_o love_n and_o the_o command_v thereof_o be_v rather_o request_n than_o command_v i_o beseech_v you_o by_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n rom._n 12.1_o we_o beseech_v you_o exhort_v you_o by_o the_o lord_n jesus_n etc._n etc._n and_o in_o sundry_a other_o place_n so_o that_o the_o gospel_n do_v require_v a_o lovely_a obedience_n and_o will_v draw_v we_o by_o the_o cord_n of_o love_n and_o this_o certain_o make_v our_o obligation_n of_o obedience_n the_o great_a and_o our_o guiltiness_n the_o great_a if_o we_o obey_v not_o if_o one_o who_o may_v command_v will_v yet_o entreat_v the_o disobedience_n be_v so_o much_o the_o foul_a and_o more_o odious_a and_o this_o be_v indeed_o to_o sin_n against_o the_o gospel_n and_o to_o neglect_v that_o great_a salvation_n to_o wit_n when_o we_o be_v entreat_v and_o beseech_v by_o he_o who_o have_v all_o power_n and_o right_a to_o command_v we_o and_o that_o not_o by_o common_a favour_n but_o by_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n and_o suffering_n of_o christ_n and_o yet_o refuse_v to_o obey_v but_o to_o the_o point_n will_v thou_o then_o render_v a_o acceptable_a obedience_n let_v the_o sense_n of_o the_o lord_n great_a and_o many_o temporal_a and_o spiritual_a favour_n and_o deliverance_n be_v ever_o drive_v we_o from_o infidelity_n so_o do_v they_o clear_o testify_v the_o lord_n great_a willingness_n to_o have_v poor_a sinner_n save_v which_o be_v also_o a_o great_a encouragement_n to_o believe_v for_o not_o only_o say_v the_o lord_n i_o will_v not_o the_o death_n of_o a_o sinner_n but_o here_o be_v our_o fault_n about_o this_o point_n of_o the_o lord_n willingness_n to_o save_v we_o we_o will_v not_o rest_v upon_o the_o lord_n reveal_v will_n as_o we_o ought_v to_o do_v but_o run_v to_o his_o secret_a will_n so_o weaken_v our_o confidence_n for_o which_o his_o revealed_z will_n afford_v we_o such_o plentiful_a ground_n and_o so_o needless_o perplex_v ourselves_o for_o secret_a it_o be_v and_o secret_a it_o must_v be_v we_o shall_v hold_v ourselves_o then_o to_o the_o lord_n reveal_v will_n and_o not_o pry_v into_o his_o secret_n this_o seem_v to_o be_v enjoin_v by_o these_o two_o place_n especial_o to_o wit_n deut._n 29._o v._n last_o secret_a thing_n belong_v to_o the_o lord_n but_o thing_n reveal_v to_o we_o and_o to_o our_o child_n even_o all_o the_o word_n of_o his_o law_n that_o we_o shall_v do_v they_o as_o also_o rom._n 10._o cite_v out_o of_o deut._n 30._o say_v not_o in_o thy_o heaâ—t_n who_o shall_v go_v up_o to_o heaven_n etc._n etc._n but_o what_o say_v it_o the_o word_n be_v nigh_o unto_o thou_o even_o in_o thy_o mouth_n and_o in_o thy_o heart_n even_o the_o word_n of_o faith_n which_o we_o preach_v so_o that_o in_o the_o point_n of_o our_o believe_a or_o persuasion_n concern_v our_o election_n and_o salvation_n or_o of_o the_o lord_n willingness_n to_o save_v we_o we_o shall_v not_o look_v to_o the_o secret_a will_n of_o god_n thus_o perplex_v ourselves_o but_o we_o shall_v betake_v we_o to_o god_n reveal_v will_n and_o word_n strengthen_v our_o faith_n have_v we_o but_o the_o promise_n of_o a_o honest_a man_n for_o any_o business_n will_v we_o not_o rest_n and_o repose_v upon_o it_o and_o will_v it_o not_o breed_v in_o his_o writ_n for_o it_o he_o be_v a_o god_n of_o truth_n so_o call_v by_o moses_n deut._n 32.4_o and_o 7._o v._o 9_o say_v emphatical_o know_v that_o the_o lord_n thy_o god_n be_v a_o faithful_a god_n who_o keep_v covenant_n and_o mercy_n he_o style_v himself_o abundant_a in_o truth_n exod._n 34._o great_a be_v his_o faithfulness_n and_o love_n who_o keep_v truth_n for_o ever_o psal_n 46._o he_o be_v a_o god_n of_o truth_n christ_n be_v call_v truth_n itself_o the_o way_n the_o truth_n and_o the_o life_n the_o faithful_a witness_n the_o holy_a ghost_n the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n the_o word_n of_o truth_n and_o shall_v we_o doubt_v of_o the_o performance_n of_o these_o promise_n no_o let_v we_o with_o sarah_n judge_v he_o faithful_a who_o have_v promise_v that_o so_o we_o may_v by_o win_v upon_o our_o untoward_a heart_n of_o unbelief_n for_o not_o only_o do_v the_o lord_n simple_o promise_v to_o pardon_v our_o iniquity_n but_o he_o promise_v to_o blot_v they_o out_o isa_n 43._o refuge_n to_o the_o hope_n that_o be_v set_v before_o thou_o a_o waken_n a_o seek_v a_o what_o shall_v i_o do_v to_o be_v save_v for_o otherwise_o thou_o will_v never_o be_v affect_v nor_o take_v to_o heart_n nor_o fear_v the_o want_n of_o the_o condition_n wherefore_o be_v thou_o so_o trouble_v and_o fear_v for_o want_n of_o the_o condition_n but_o because_o thou_o be_v hunger_a and_o thirst_v for_o that_o which_o thou_o think_v be_v the_o condition_n will_v make_v belong_v to_o thou_o to_o wit_n mercy_n and_o forgiveness_n and_o fear_v and_o be_v trouble_v for_o want_n of_o the_o condition_n to_o be_v deprive_v of_o it_o so_o than_o thou_o who_o be_v trouble_v and_o fear_v to_o want_v the_o condition_n require_v in_o those_o to_o who_o mercy_n be_v offer_v do_v indeed_o hunger_n and_o thirst_n for_o mercy_n do_v indeed_o fear_v and_o will_v fly_v unto_o the_o refuge_n for_o be_v it_o not_o so_o there_o will_v not_o be_v all_o this_o fear_n with_o thou_o thou_o will_v even_o be_v as_o the_o rest_n of_o this_o secure_a world_n and_o as_o perhaps_o sometime_o it_o have_v be_v with_o thyself_o never_o care_v how_o it_o go_v with_o thou_o in_o so_o principal_a a_o point_n whether_o thou_o have_v the_o condition_n or_o not_o now_o then_o to_o such_o as_o thou_o be_v who_o fear_v who_o do_v hunger_n and_o thirst_n the_o promise_n be_v clear_o universal_a it_o do_v belong_v to_o all_o such_o none_o be_v except_v as_o you_o hear_v in_o the_o place_n before_o cite_v ho_o all_o you_o that_o hunger_n and_o thirst_n etc._n etc._n who_o be_v he_o that_o fear_v the_o lord_n and_o obey_v the_o voice_n of_o his_o servant_n let_v he_o trust_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n etc._n etc._n a_o five_o notable_a mean_n to_o beget_v faith_n or_o to_o god_n mercy_n notwithstanding_o the_o renew_n of_o our_o sin_n he_o bid_v we_o pardon_n seventy_o time_n seven_o time_n in_o case_n of_o repentance_n how_o often_o then_o will_v he_o pardon_v who_o be_v infinite_a in_o mercy_n as_o far_o as_o the_o heaven_n be_v above_o the_o earth_n so_o much_o be_v his_o way_n above_o your_o way_n thou_o sin_v daily_a it_o be_v true_a but_o he_o have_v allow_v thou_o daily_o to_o crave_v pardon_n and_o so_o to_o expect_v forgiveness_n of_o sin_n as_o well_o as_o to_o pray_v every_o day_n for_o our_o daily_a bread_n iniquity_n prevail_v against_o we_o but_o
