resurrection_n of_o damnation_n and_o this_o be_v assert_v by_o the_o mouth_n of_o truth_n itself_o and_o also_o the_o fundamental_a part_n of_o our_o creed_n which_o sustain_v its_o whole_a frame_n nor_o in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v he_o will_v make_v any_o difference_n between_o the_o righteous_a and_o the_o wicked_a what_o profit_n be_v it_o to_o believe_v a_o redeemer_n or_o a_o saviour_n if_o there_o be_v no_o salvation_n or_o damnation_n that_o there_o be_v a_o holy_a ghost_n if_o in_o the_o issue_n it_o shall_v be_v all_o one_o to_o those_o that_o be_v sanctify_v and_o to_o those_o high_a call_v of_o preach_v to_o stoop_v to_o such_o low_a employment_n it_o be_v not_o reason_n say_v they_o that_o we_o shall_v leave_v the_o word_n of_o god_n to_o serve_v table_n but_o he_o despise_v not_o to_o serve_v table_n too_o meat_n be_v not_o the_o reward_n or_o aim_n of_o a_o follower_n of_o christ_n but_o grace_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n heaven_n and_o eternal_a life_n food_n raiment_n house_n land_n and_o the_o rest_n of_o thing_n temporal_a be_v indeed_o but_o impedimenta_fw-la religionis_fw-la the_o baggage_n or_o luggage_n of_o our_o christian_a warfare_n cumbersome_a to_o a_o believer_n as_o well_o as_o useful_a yet_o because_o they_o be_v useful_a in_o our_o present_a condition_n christ_n indulge_v they_o to_o we_o and_o be_v trouble_v if_o we_o want_v a_o sufficiency_n of_o they_o and_o however_o there_o be_v but_o vnum_fw-la necessarium_fw-la one_o great_a requisite_a faith_n yet_o the_o other_o thing_n of_o this_o life_n which_o be_v necessary_a in_o their_o kind_n to_o that_o one_o necessary_a he_o will_v and_o command_n shall_v be_v give_v to_o his_o servant_n and_o if_o they_o be_v he_o impute_v it_o to_o the_o giver_n of_o they_o for_o righteousness_n and_o if_o they_o be_v not_o to_o the_o with-holders_n of_o they_o for_o unrighteousness_n the_o second_o motive_n of_o christ_n compassion_n be_v the_o fear_v future_a danger_n of_o the_o people_n lest_o they_o may_v faint_v by_o the_o way_n he_o show_v himself_o not_o only_o trouble_v at_o present_a and_o incumbent_a distress_n but_o solicitous_a for_o those_o that_o be_v their_o worthiness_n be_v the_o pain_n they_o take_v in_o follow_v christ_n divers_a of_o they_o say_v he_o come_v from_o far_o to_o follow_v christ_n only_o from_o street_n to_o street_n and_o synagogue_n to_o synagogue_n within_o the_o city_n merit_a regard_n but_o to_o attend_v he_o from_o town_n to_o town_n from_o city_n to_o country_n from_o mountain_n to_o desert_n call_v for_o a_o great_a measure_n of_o our_o affection_n to_o receive_v the_o gospel_n when_o it_o be_v bring_v home_n to_o we_o be_v commendable_a but_o to_o go_v on_o pilgrimage_n to_o hear_v wisdom_n like_o the_o queen_n of_o sheba_n deserve_v as_o she_o do_v to_o find_v more_o satisfaction_n than_o be_v expect_v those_o that_o submit_v to_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o god_n shall_v find_v comfort_n and_o refreshment_n to_o their_o soul_n but_o they_o that_o hunger_n and_o thirst_n after_o righteousness_n inebriabuntur_fw-la ubertate_fw-la domûs_fw-la tuus_fw-la they_o shall_v be_v even_o gorge_v and_o sate_v with_o the_o plenty_n of_o his_o house_n the_o church_n of_o rome_n among_o other_o vain_a and_o false_a glory_n reckon_v that_o of_o pilgrimage_n but_o who_o look_v near_o into_o the_o mystery_n of_o they_o will_v find_v that_o when_o they_o be_v undertake_v by_o great_a man_n it_o be_v with_o a_o persuasion_n that_o the_o most_o heinous_a offence_n may_v be_v expiate_v by_o bodily_a pain_n and_o profuse_a offering_n without_o reformation_n of_o life_n and_o when_o by_o those_o of_o the_o mean_a sort_n it_o be_v but_o under_o a_o colour_n of_o religion_n a_o plain_a running-away_a from_o their_o wife_n and_o child_n or_o the_o burden_n of_o their_o call_v and_o as_o they_o go_v out_o idle_a and_o profligate_v person_n they_o return_v common_o thief_n and_o murderer_n the_o three_o circumstance_n of_o their_o worthiness_n be_v the_o generosity_n and_o spiritual-mindedness_a they_o show_v though_o they_o have_v continue_v with_o our_o lord_n three_o day_n and_o have_v make_v no_o provision_n for_o the_o body_n yet_o they_o feel_v no_o hunger_n or_o despise_v it_o they_o be_v so_o transport_v with_o his_o conversation_n that_o what_o christ_n say_v of_o his_o own_o do_v the_o will_n of_o his_o father_n that_o it_o be_v meat_n and_o drink_n to_o he_o appear_v true_a in_o the_o multitude_n hear_v his_o gracious_a word_n that_o it_o be_v meat_n and_o drink_n to_o they_o they_o practise_v this_o precept_n before_o it_o be_v teach_v they_o anima_fw-la est_fw-la plusquam_fw-la esca_fw-la the_o concern_v of_o the_o soul_n be_v to_o take_v place_n before_o those_o of_o the_o body_n it_o be_v say_v of_o the_o ancient_a common_a people_n of_o rome_n dvas_fw-la tantum_fw-la res_fw-la anxias_fw-la optat_fw-la panem_fw-la &_o circenses_fw-la that_o they_o passionate_o set_v their_o heart_n but_o upon_o two_o thing_n bread_n and_o play_n their_o belly_n and_o their_o pastime_n but_o the_o people_n here_o of_o a_o noble_a strain_n despise_v their_o belly_n pleasure_n profit_n ease_n life_n itself_o for_o religion_n and_o instruction_n sake_n and_o therefore_o though_o our_o lord_n many_o other_o time_n send_v away_o the_o people_n empty_v or_o slip_v away_o himself_o from_o their_o importunity_n he_o treat_v and_o feast_v these_o and_o dismiss_v they_o with_o respect_n and_o compliment_n the_o four_o circumstance_n of_o their_o worthiness_n be_v their_o constancy_n and_o perseverance_n they_o forsake_v not_o christ_n in_o three_o day_n those_o that_o be_v not_o discourage_v at_o the_o first_o onset_n on_o religion_n yet_o many_o time_n length_n and_o hardness_n of_o duty_n
christ_n from_o the_o dead_a shall_v quicken_v your_o mortal_a body_n by_o his_o spirit_n that_o dwell_v in_o you_o if_o the_o resurrection_n of_o christ_n have_v be_v of_o his_o person_n only_o it_o will_v have_v be_v a_o rare_a and_o glorious_a event_n but_o a_o event_n of_o no_o concern_v to_o we_o and_o if_o we_o do_v meet_v only_o this_o day_n to_o celebrate_v his_o resurrection_n from_o
