have_v place_v in_o they_o but_o in_o man_n he_o have_v place_v a_o high_a nature_n and_o therefore_o the_o act_n of_o the_o sensitive_a appetite_n without_o this_o subordination_n to_o this_o high_a nature_n be_v in_o truth_n in_o man_n unnatural_a and_o contrary_a to_o the_o order_n and_o course_n of_o nature_n this_o concern_v we_o as_o we_o be_v men._n 2._o when_o either_o this_o motion_n or_o they_o thankful_o nor_o the_o presence_n of_o almighty_a god_n who_o observe_v all_o our_o carriage_n in_o the_o use_n of_o his_o blessing_n that_o so_o we_o may_v use_v they_o sober_o and_o reverent_o 2._o immoderate_o there_o be_v require_v of_o we_o a_o double_a moderation_n in_o the_o use_n of_o this_o faculty_n 1._o moderation_n of_o our_o affection_n to_o the_o object_n 2._o moderation_n in_o the_o use_n of_o the_o object_n of_o our_o appetite_n the_o want_n of_o the_o former_a rob_v god_n of_o that_o affection_n or_o measure_n of_o love_n which_o we_o owe_v to_o he_o when_o any_o thing_n be_v love_v beyond_o the_o proportion_n or_o measure_v due_a to_o it_o it_o must_v needs_o invade_v the_o love_n a_o man_n owe_v to_o god_n and_o so_o place_v that_o object_n in_o the_o place_n of_o god._n thus_o covetousness_n become_v idolatry_n ephes_n 5.5_o gluttony_n become_v idolatry_n who_o god_n be_v their_o belly_n for_o that_o which_o have_v the_o mastery_n of_o our_o love_n have_v the_o command_n of_o the_o whole_a man_n and_o if_o my_o love_n to_o the_o object_n of_o my_o sensual_a appetite_n want_v that_o due_a subordination_n to_o the_o love_n i_o owe_v to_o satisfaction_n of_o my_o sensual_a appetite_n i_o shall_v neglect_v the_o duty_n i_o owe_v to_o god_n or_o man._n the_o want_n of_o the_o latter_a be_v when_o we_o use_v they_o in_o such_o a_o
few_o day_n god_n forbid_v that_o i_o shall_v look_v upon_o it_o as_o the_o merit_n of_o my_o charity_n for_o it_o be_v his_o own_o or_o that_o i_o shall_v be_v therefore_o charitable_a because_o i_o he_o make_v every_o man_n useful_a and_o beneficial_a to_o another_o in_o this_o way_n of_o mutual_a justice_n and_o by_o his_o write_a word_n whereby_o he_o express_o require_v it_o this_o cardinal_n and_o fundamental_a motion_n of_o the_o soul_n viz._n the_o love_n of_o god_n do_v present_o conclude_v that_o since_o that_o great_a god_n to_o who_o i_o owe_v myself_o and_o all_o my_o love_n and_o
