bless_a book_n that_o be_v unprofitable_a answ_n 1_o use_n nothing_o in_o the_o scripture_n but_o be_v of_o use_n but_o i_o deny_v this_o also_o that_o every_o thing_n in_o the_o new-testament_n be_v the_o message_n of_o the_o servant_n to_o fetch_v luggage_n but_o it_o be_v the_o message_n of_o the_o son_n to_o deliver_v his_o message_n so_o the_o message_n of_o moses_n it_o be_v luggage_n to_o teach_v they_o endless_a external_a law_n and_o thing_n but_o the_o design_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n his_o message_n be_v to_o declare_v the_o sercret_a spiritual_a mysterye_n of_o his_o father_n to_o the_o people_n of_o god_n in_o the_o new_a testament_n therefore_o it_o be_v no_o sense_n much_o less_o truth_n to_o say_v that_o christ_n be_v unfaithful_a because_o he_o have_v not_o as_o many_o curious_a tie_n in_o outward_a thing_n as_o moses_n so_o i_o have_v do_v with_o those_o objection_n .._o now_o brief_o to_o end_v all_o at_o this_o time_n there_o be_v two_o thing_n remain_v first_o to_o point_v out_o the_o hindrance_n that_o keep_v we_o from_o walk_v according_a to_o this_o truth_n and_o second_o to_o show_v you_o certain_a mean_n that_o may_v further_o you_o in_o it_o hindrance_n hindrance_n the_o hindrance_n be_v these_o four_o or_o five_o the_o one_o that_o you_o must_v take_v heed_n of_o engage_v yourselves_o with_o any_o party_n in_o religion_n beyond_o your_o own_o principle_n principle_n 1._o engagement_n in_o party_n beyond_o man_n principle_n religion_n be_v already_o in_o a_o faction_n among_o some_o saint_n man_n be_v ready_a to_o cry_v i_o be_o for_o paul_n and_o i_o be_o for_o apollo_n and_o i_o be_o for_o cephas_n now_o i_o will_v not_o have_v you_o persecute_v other_o by_o no_o mean_n but_o i_o will_v have_v you_o love_v all_o saint_n all_o that_o call_v on_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n with_o a_o pure_a heart_n and_o honour_v all_o saint_n without_o faction_n but_o take_v heed_n of_o run_v into_o any_o of_o these_o party_n whatsoever_o beyond_o your_o own_o principle_n further_o than_o you_o have_v a_o clear_a light_n that_o you_o can_v answer_v comfortable_o for_o it_o at_o the_o last_o day_n before_o the_o lord_n hence_o be_v this_o run_n into_o faction_n that_o i_o believe_v there_o be_v thousand_o of_o man_n and_o woman_n that_o profess_v themselves_o now_o presbyterian_o that_o know_v not_o not_o understand_v what_o presbytery_n be_v man_n scarce_o know_v what_o they_o say_v and_o yet_o i_o be_o a_o presbyterian_a &_o run_v into_o faction_n so_o many_o in_o that_o way_n that_o you_o call_v independency_n that_o out_o of_o some_o motive_n of_o truth_n that_o they_o see_v in_o it_o &_o their_o good_a neighbour_n and_o friend_n that_o be_v of_o it_o they_o run_v a_o long_a in_o it_o and_o what_o follow_v when_o they_o come_v to_o suffer_v in_o death_n or_o the_o like_a case_n they_o either_o go_v back_o with_o shame_n and_o grieve_v their_o brethren_n or_o else_o they_o go_v on_o uncomfortable_o for_o that_o that_o they_o have_v not_o a_o seal_n to_o their_o conscience_n so_o now_o i_o may_v say_v in_o some_o measure_n that_o people_n general_o believe_v as_o the_o church_n believe_v as_o the_o faction_n that_o they_o join_v themselves_o to_o believe_v therefore_o beware_v of_o this_o this_o be_v not_o a_o time_n for_o man_n to_o see_v with_o other_o man_n eye_n try_v all_o thing_n &_o hold_v fast_o that_o which_o be_v good_a let_v every_o man_n prove_v his_o own_o work_n love_v all_o saint_n if_o there_o be_v any_o thing_n of_o god_n in_o they_o but_o walk_v not_o profit_n and_o credit_n remove_v all_o these_o thing_n from_o any_o thing_n that_o you_o will_v judge_v aright_o of_o these_o be_v false_a glass_n therefore_o truth_n or_o error_n that_o that_o be_v most_o persecute_v in_o the_o world_n you_o must_v judge_v as_o if_o it_o have_v all_o the_o preferment_n and_o advancement_n in_o the_o world_n this_o i_o have_v often_o think_v those_o that_o shall_v come_v a_o hundred_o year_n hence_o that_o shall_v be_v godly_a if_o the_o world_n last_o so_o long_o will_v wonder_v at_o our_o folly_n and_o think_v we_o mad_a man_n in_o most_o of_o our_o controversy_n and_o wrangling_n because_o that_o prejudice_n and_o peevishness_n and_o passion_n and_o those_o mist_n and_o glass_n shall_v not_o be_v before_o their_o eye_n they_o will_v be_v able_a to_o judge_v of_o thing_n as_o they_o be_v as_o we_o have_v read_v of_o a_o controversy_n many_o year_n between_o the_o saint_n about_o keep_v of_o easter_n in_o the_o east_n and_o western_a church_n some_o will_v keep_v it_o at_o one_o time_n and_o some_o at_o another_o we_o think_v they_o be_v mad_a to_o strive_v about_o it_o and_o it_o have_v be_v no_o matter_n if_o it_o have_v never_o be_v keep_v and_o so_o in_o the_o convocation_n for_o a_o quarter_n of_o a_o year_n in_o the_o synod_n the_o bishop_n of_o canterbury_n and_o york_n they_o strive_v who_o shall_v sit_v uppermost_a we_o think_v they_o be_v mad_a but_o they_o be_v great_a thing_n in_o those_o day_n when_o they_o have_v no_o better_a light_n so_o those_o that_o shall_v come_v after_o will_v wonder_v as_o much_o at_o convince_v that_o error_n bring_v poverty_n and_o shame_n as_o the_o people_n in_o jer._n 43._o when_o the_o prophet_n come_v to_o teach_v they_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o go_v into_o egypt_n &_o
