proceed_v mere_o from_o his_o lameness_n he_o that_o play_v upon_o a_o untuned_a instrument_n with_o a_o skilful_a hand_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o the_o sound_n but_o not_o of_o the_o jar_a for_o that_o it_o jar_n proceed_v mere_o from_o the_o untunednesse_n of_o the_o instrument_n and_o not_o from_o the_o unskilfulnesse_n of_o such_o a_o musician_n there_o be_v something_o in_o every_o evil_a action_n which_o be_v good_a namely_o its_o natural_a be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o physical_a motion_n and_o so_o far_o forth_o it_o be_v from_o god_n but_o the_o moral_a pravity_n and_o irregularity_n of_o it_o be_v from_o man_n alone_o we_o also_o grant_v that_o god_n do_v sometime_o lay_v stumble_v block_n in_o the_o way_n of_o sinner_n as_o it_o be_v ezek._n 3.20_o but_o yet_o he_o only_o suffer_v and_o no_o way_n compel_v they_o to_o fall_v or_o thrust_v they_o down_o a_o man_n may_v walk_v if_o he_o be_v very_o careful_a without_o fall_v though_o many_o stumble_a block_n shall_v lie_v in_o his_o way_n that_o god_n be_v only_o the_o author_n of_o the_o occasion_n and_o have_v no_o hand_n in_o the_o sin_n itself_o be_v intimate_v to_o we_o in_o that_o passage_n of_o the_o lord_n prayer_n in_o which_o we_o be_v teach_v thus_o to_o speak_v lead_v we_o not_o into_o temptation_n but_o deliver_v we_o from_o evil_a &_o not_o lead_v we_o not_o into_o evil_n but_o deliver_v we_o from_o temptation_n imply_v that_o though_o we_o be_v lead_v into_o temptation_n by_o god_n yet_o not_o into_o evil_n not_o into_o sin_n though_o he_o offer_v the_o temptation_n yet_o he_o only_o suffer_v the_o sin_n i_o speak_v nothing_o to_o the_o prejudice_n of_o god_n providence_n in_o dispose_v of_o sin_n as_o well_o as_o other_o occurrence_n for_o god_n may_v only_o permit_v the_o commission_n of_o sin_n and_o yet_o dispose_v of_o sin_n commit_v in_o subserviency_n to_o his_o own_o glory_n but_o to_o proceed_v from_o god_n permissive_a decree_n to_o his_o positive_a providence_n i_o believe_v it_o to_o have_v such_o a_o universal_a influence_n upon_o all_o the_o affair_n of_o the_o world_n that_o the_o most_o inconsiderable_a passage_n and_o occurrence_n be_v order_v and_o dispose_v thereby_o insomuch_o that_o not_o a_o hair_n can_v fall_v from_o our_o head_n or_o two_o sparrow_n light_a upon_o the_o ground_n without_o it_o concern_v the_o deal_n of_o god_n with_o angel_n and_o man_n angel_n angel_n which_o be_v of_o all_o other_o most_o remarkable_a i_o thus_o believe_v first_o as_o touch_v angel_n that_o they_o be_v all_o of_o they_o create_v by_o god_n pure_a and_o spotless_a spirit_n a_o order_n of_o be_v above_o man_n of_o a_o more_o noble_a and_o active_a constitution_n in_o which_o estate_n many_o of_o they_o yet_o continue_v and_o that_o those_o who_o keep_v not_o their_o stand_n be_v reserve_v in_o chain_n of_o darkness_n to_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o great_a day_n god_n have_v make_v no_o provision_n for_o their_o recovery_n as_o he_o do_v for_o raise_v up_o the_o tabernacle_n of_o adam_n which_o be_v fall_v concern_v man_n the_o next_o creature_n to_o angel_n in_o point_n of_o dignity_n and_o excellency_n the_o spirit_n of_o god_n speak_v in_o the_o word_n have_v thus_o persuade_v i_o man._n man._n namely_o that_o god_n at_o first_o do_v make_v he_o righteous_a stamp_v his_o own_o image_n upon_o he_o darkness_n of_o our_o understanding_n for_o how_o small_a a_o portion_n be_v it_o that_o we_o know_v of_o god_n ourselves_o or_o the_o nature_n of_o those_o creature_n which_o be_v round_o about_o we_o in_o comparison_n of_o what_o we_o may_v have_v know_v perverseness_n of_o our_o will_n which_o take_v occasion_n by_o the_o law_n of_o god_n to_o sin_v out_o of_o measure_n sinful_o disorder_n of_o our_o affection_n which_o be_v fix_v most_o when_o they_o shall_v be_v least_o or_o not_o at_o all_o and_o lest_o when_o they_o shall_v be_v most_o of_o all_o which_o also_o change_v their_o due_a centre_n our_o love_n move_v towards_o those_o thing_n which_o shall_v be_v the_o centre_n of_o our_o hatred_n erroneousnesse_n stupidity_n searedness_n defilement_n and_o interessednesse_n of_o our_o conscience_n and_o continual_a proneness_n of_o the_o whole_a man_n unto_o that_o which_o be_v evil_a as_o it_o be_v write_v the_o imagination_n or_o figment_n of_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n be_v evil_a and_o only_o evil_a and_o that_o continual_o but_o to_o proceed_v i_o further_o believe_v that_o god_n soon_o after_o the_o fall_n of_o man_n probable_o so_o soon_o as_o that_o the_o sun_n do_v
